Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 20, 2017

General Manager Mick Foley shows up to start the show. He reads from a sheet of set of index, saying that he has been honored to be General Manager for the last nine months and thanking Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for the experience of a lifetime, which he endangered last week. He apologizes for his actions last week, apologizes, says that he would rather have people talking about WrestleMania, and says that he will be taking a leave of absence from Raw. He then says that the index cards were handed to him by Tripe H, and as he speaks, his microphone is repeatedly cut off. Commissioner Stephanie McMahon then shows up and berates Foley, saying that Foley makes it all about him and that he screws up just about everything. She says Foley can't make tough decisions and can't think about what's best for business. She then proceeds to fire Mick Foley as General Manager. As Foley leaves, Sami Zayn shows up and not only calls out Stephanie McMahon on her treatment of Foley, but for her decisions as Commissioner in general. Stephanie thanks Sami for the "morality lesson," then tells him . Sami tells Stephanie McMahon that Foley has shown more class in the last nine months than she has in her entire life and that she should be ashamed of herself, but Stephanie doesn't care and tells him to head back to the locker room and figure out how to make it all up to her. Sami continues to call Stephanie out, then Samoa Joe shows up. Stephanie calls Joe off, then tells Foley to leave once and for all before putting Joe and Sami in a match together that happens right now. Sami hits a tope suicida on Joe.

Samoa Joe beats Sami Zayn with the Coaquina Clutch.

Mick Foley and the Raw roster have their last goodbyes. Sami Zayn, Sheamus and Cesaro thank Foley for believing in them when nobody else did. Bayley and Foley have one last hug, then Triple H says "Have a nice day!" with a smile before walking off. Foley then leaves the building.

We get an update on Seth Rollins' rehabilitation from physical therapist Kevin Wilk. He says that Seth re-aggravated his knee injury last week and that his knee brace kept it from getting worse. His rehab is progressing well, but it will be several months before Seth is really ready to compete, which means Seth will miss WrestleMania and if he does show up there, he'll more than likely be in the doctor's office the next day.

Charlotte beats Dana Brooke.

Commissioner Stephanie McMahon meets up with Bayley backstage. Bayley says that she looked up to her, but now...not so much, as Bayley feels Stephanie uses her powers to hurt people. Stephanie McMahon then puts Bayley in a match against Nia Jax, and if Nia wins, she will be in the Raw Women's Championship match and it will become a Fatal Four-Way. To prevent a disqualification like last time, the match will be a no-disqualification match.

It's time for The Highlight Reel with Chris Jericho. His guest tonight is "the real Kevin Owens," and Jericho says he doesn't need Owens as he has a lot of friends in the WWE fans. He says that Owens fancies himself a prizefighter, but says that doesn't describe the real Kevin Owens. We then see pictures of Owens as a 16-year-old kid on the TitanTron, as well as Twitter DMs between Owens and Jericho, asking Jericho for advice. After saying that Jericho wants all that time spent with Owens back, then we see still images of what happened at FastLane. Jericho then says he is Owens' idol and not his friends, then says that at WrestleMania, his entrance theme will transport Owens back to being a 16-year-old nerd and remind Owens of what he got himself into. He then tells Owens that if losing the Universal title, then he should wait until their WrestleMania match is over to see how much it hurts then. Jericho is then about to put Owens on The List when Samoa Joe shows up. As Samoa Joe has Jericho distracted, Jericho is attacked from behind by Owens, who shows up from the crowd. Owens beats Jericho up, then tears up the papers of The List of Jericho and even eats one of the pages, destroying The List.

The Brian Kendrick quickly beats TJ Perkins as Perkins argues with the referee. After the match, Kendrick calls out Akira Tozawa, then says Akira Tozawa isn't even in the country and that he has his passport, which Tozawa left lying around. He then teaches Lesson #7: Be careful what you leave lying around.

Charly Caruso interviews Roman Reigns, who says that not even thoughts about The Undertaker will take him off his game against Braun Strowman, as when he pictures The Undertaker, he pictures him laid out on the mat at WrestleMania.

We see a video package of Goldberg's road through WCW, his seemingly final match in WWE from WrestleMania 20, his life now and his upcoming match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Sheamus and Cesaro are talking backstage when Commissioner Stephanie McMahon shows up and puts them in a 4-on-2 handicap against Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson), Enzo Amore and Big Cass for being supporters of Mick Foley. If they lose the match, they're out of the Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the Raw tag team titles.

Nia Jax beats Bayley in a no-disqualification match to enter the Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania.

WWE celebrates Women's History Month and the life and career of Mae Young.

Michael Cole interviews Triple H in the ring. Triple H says he is disappointed that he won't have a fight with Seth Rollins, and that Rollins has nobody to blame but himself for being inured as he stopped listening to him and started listening to the fans, and repeatedly has to tell himself that he is "the man." Triple H likens Seth Rollins' situation to Mick Foley's, saying that Foley ruined his own life by listening to the fans as well. After we see the footage of what happened to Seth Rollins last week on Raw, Triple H says that he gave Rollins the tools to make it in the business, but he is now done with Rollins. He asks Michael Cole to give Seth Rollins some complimentary tickets that he has, then takes him back as he has an idea: a "hold harmless" agreement that Seth can sign so he can face him in a non-sanctioned match, and all Seth has to do is show up next week to sign it. Triple H then asks Seth if he has guts or if he is a coward.

Sheamus and Cesaro beat Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a 4-on-2 handicap match after Gallows and Anderson attack Enzo and Cass for mocking them before the match.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) talk about WrestleMania, and almost make a reference to the recent leak of Paige's nudes when Big E asks Xavier Woods if he has anything to talk about.

Austin Aries beats "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese. After the match, Neville shows up and says Aries is beneath him and not a threat to the Cruiserweight title. Austin says that Neville says he's the king of the cruiserweights, but knows that he is above Neville's level. He tells Neville to tell everyone he meets for the next 13 days that he is "king of the Cruiserweights," because after WrestleMania, his reign is over.

Emma is coming soon...

We look back at Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 19.

We see a video package of what happened after FastLane as well as an interview with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.

Goldberg and Brock Lesnar meet face-to-face next week.

Braun Strowman tells Charly Caruso he isn't facing Roman Reigns, he's destroying him, and if The Undertaker is going to face Roman, he'll need to get a shovel to scrape him off the match when he's done.

Austin Aries delivers a message to Neville tomorrow night on 205 Live.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman ends when The Undertaker shows up and stands between Roman and Strowman. Strowman approaches The Undertaker and gets choke slammed, then Roman hits The Undertaker with a Spear. As Roman leaves, The Undertaker stands right up, and stares down Roman.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
