Braun Strowman shows up before the next match, and Roman Reigns fights him. It eventually becomes a 3-on-1 beatdown that also involves Jeri-KO (Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens) until Seth Rollins shows up with a steel chair. Rollins and Reigns clean house and hit Braun with a double chair shot to the back, then Commissioner Stephanie McMahon shows up. She announces that the 2-on-1 handicap match between Jeri-KO and Roman Reigns will take place as scheduled, but Roman will be given some time to recuperate from these recent events so he doesn't have any excuses when he loses. He then tells Seth Rollins that if he wants a fight, he's got one, as he now has a match against Strowman, which is up next.
Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman wrestle to a double count-out. During the match, it is announced that Sami Zayn is not medically cleared tonight, and will hopefully be back next week. After the match, Rollins fights back against Strowman and attacks him with a steel chair.
We see a sneak preview of WWE Pictures' The Resurrection of Gavin Stone featuring "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, premiering January 20th.
Drew Brees of the new Orleans Saints is seen in the front row.
Bayley and Sasha Banks talk backstage. Bayley knows she's beaten Charlotte and that she can beat her again. Sasha says that she has her back in case Dana Brooke shows up, then Charlotte shows up, saying that nobody can beat her for the Raw Women's Championship at a pay-per-view and nobody ever will. Nia Jax shows up and kicks Sasha in the back of the knee before Charlotte attacks Bayley from behind. After they witness their handiwork, Nia then pushes Charlotte into some boxes.
Jack Gallagher beats Drew Gulak. Charly Caruso interviews Gallagher after the match, and Gallagher offers an olive branch to Ariya Daivari, asking him to meet him on 205 Live to partake in a "parley" and negotiate some terms of agreement. If Daivari doesn't agree, however, he will be forced to enter into some fisticuffs.
General Manager Mick Foley is looking for The Undertaker backstage. Commissioner Stephanie McMahon shows up and tells him she wants concrete evidence that 'Taker is here, as his entire performance review hinges on 'Taker's appearance. She gives Foley one hour.
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels shows up. After admitting he's missed the WWE Universe and coming to the ring on a regular basis. He has fond memories of Royal Rumble, especially the 1997 event that was also in San Antonio, where he beat Sycho Sid to win the WWE Championship. As he talks about this year's event, he also talks about his new movie, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, premiering on January 20th, which is also his first acting job. Rusev, Lana and Jinder Mahal suddenly show up, and Rusev congratulates Shawn on the new movie before telling him to put Lana in the movie if he wants it to be successful. Shawn tells him the movie is already done, but Rusev doesn't care and tells him to use CGI. After some Golden Globe jokes and Rusev calling himself a "Bulgarian George Clooney" before saying Lana - who is more beautiful than Emma Stone - should have won some Golden Globe awards, Enzo Amore and Big Cass show up. Enzo gets out of his wheelchair and into the ring, despite his leg still being hurt, and calls Shawn the realest guy in the room before making some movie-themed jokes at Rusev, Lana and Jinder's expense, including "The Pianist" jokes. Rusev threatens to put all three of them in a wheelchair, and Cass tells Rusev that if he has a problem, they can handle it in the ring right now. Rusev accepts, then has Jinder fight for him. Shawn then says he has nothing to do until the Royal Rumble and decides to stay at ringside for this match.
Big Cass beats Jinder Mahal after "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels distracts Jinder by hitting Rusev with Sweet Chin Music.
Neville beats Lince Dorado with the Crossface, then continues to attack Dorado until Rich Swann runs in. Neville and Swann brawl, and Neville is forced to retreat in the end.

Sasha Banks and Bayley show up in Commissioner Stephanie McMahon's office, wanting a match with Charlotte and Nia Jax. Stephanie McMahon tells them to take the bass out of their voice, that the only "legit boss" around here is her and to address her as "Mrs. McMahon," and gives them the match...for tonight.
Karl Anderson and Cesaro guest on commentary for the next match.
Sheamus beats Luke Gallows after Gallows is distracted by Karl Anderson and Cesaro fighting at the entrance ramp, which also distracts Sheamus who is able to kick out and hit the Brogue Kick for the win.
Charly Caruso interviews Roman Reigns, who says that he is ready to defend the United States title no matter what.
General Manager Mick Foley is in the ring. He talks about his rivalry with The Undertaker, and calls on him now for one more encounter. The lights go off and then on, but it's really Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, who is about to publicly give him a bad performance report. As she blames Foley for all of Raw's current problems - ratings and Braun Strowman's reign of terror being among them - The Undertaker finally shows up. 'Taker says he is back and entering the Royal Rumble match. He then says he answers to no one, and goes where he wants, when he wants. He says that no one controls him, then walks up to Stephanie and emphasizes on the word "no one." He says that he has now returned to the city where he has suffered his most devastating loss and The Streak came to the end, but his journey continues to the Royal Rumble match. He plans on winning the Royal Rumble and returning to the main event at WrestleMania, and if anyone stands in his way, they will rest in peace.
Charly Caruso interviews Jeri-KO (Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens). They don't care about The Undertaker's announcement, and plan to take the United States title from Roman Reigns so that two Canadians are the face of the United States and of Raw.
Nia Jax and Charlotte beat Sasha Banks and Bayley.
Noam Dar dressed up for Alicia Fox, expecting a slap, but gets the Hollywood kiss instead. Alicia then says Cedric Alexander is right and that Noam Dar can't handle a real woman.
Before the next match, Titus O'Neil apologizes to The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) for attacking Xavier Woods, and wants another chance to join The New Day. After some footage of Titus in NXT in 2010 tripping while carrying a keg during the Keg Carry Challenge, they give him a chance at redemption with the same challenge from 2010 with a keg full of "booty juice." Titus is able to do it this time, but Titus drops the keg before he runs all over ringside. Titus attacks Kofi, starting a match between the two.
It is announced that WrestleMania 34 will come to New Orleans, Louisiana in 2018.
Kofi Kingston beats Titus O'Neil.
