Total Divas Island - Total Divas recap for January 4, 2017

The Total Divas brace themselves for the Brand Extension.

Brie and Nikki work out at the gym. Nikki wants to go with Brie to Napa Valley and also take care of some business stuff, but Brie only wants to go there to relax and says she'll go only on one condition: if Nikki doesn't mix business with pleasure.

Nattie meets with Mark Carrano, who tells her to talk with him later tonight. Nattie has the feeling this will affect her TV time somehow.

Nikki and John Cena go to a steakhouse. Nikki finds it hard to find time alone with John, who also tells her that she is going 100 miles per hour and asks that they have a night like this one every Saturday night.

Nattie finds out that she is turning heel tonight at Money In The Bank, and she hopes that she can take the role and run with it. To her surprise, everyone cheers when she turns on Becky Lynch.

Brie and Nikki head to Napa Valley. Brie has the idea of creating their own wine, and has no idea about the negative impacts of a drought. They then head to a spa, and Brie hopes to just relax while they are at Napa Valley.

Renee Young tells Natalya that people are abuzz on social media about her heel turn. Nattie is surprised.

Paige has a match when she feels something pop in her shoulder. She and Alberto Del Rio head to the trainer's room.

Later that night on Raw, when Nattie attacks Becky Lynch, she gets no reaction from the crowd. Nattie is frustrated.

Eva Marie and Paige spend some time together in San Antonio, now that they are friends again. They head to a snake farm where Paige messes with Eva.

Nattie tries to go with a black wig to take full advantage of her heel turn, but the wig idea doesn't go as planned.

At Napa Valley, Brie and Nikki try to spell the word "handkerchief" before they taste some wine and grapes. Nikki entertains the idea of being a winemaker, and has gotten with some people to make a Bella brand wine. Brie thinks that Nikki is trying to keep up with John Cena when it comes to being busy all the time, as she is trying to find something to do when John Cena isn't around.

Paige and Eva Marie spend some more time in San Antonio and talk about what's going on in their lives. Paige reveals that she has "Alberto" tattooed underneath her breast, and doesn't know what to think as she has just met Alberto Del Rio.

Brie and Nikki meet Ryan Hill of the Hill Family Estate and Tim Martin of Tusk Estates, and Nikki brings up the idea of making a Bella wine. Ryan offers to show them what it takes to make wine. They take up that offer.

Paige tells Eva Marie that her neck is hurting, and tells Eva Marie not to tell anyone else as she wants to stay on television. Eva buys her a therapeutic neck brace from a local pharmacy.

Nattie pitches the idea of being paired with Eva Marie to get people to hate her as a heel. Mark Carrano tells her that the idea would ultimate take heat away from Eva Marie, who is the most hated woman on the roster. He tells Nattie to be her own star.

Brie and Nikki learn about the the many things they would have to use and do if they were to run a winery. Brie is surprised that Nikki is willing to learn what it takes.

Nattie finally gets the crowd to boo her when she attacks Becky Lynch while she is on the way to the ring.

Brie and Nikki relax at the pool. Brie tells Nikki that she loves to fil her plate to not feel lonely when John Cena isn't around and feels that she is trying to compete with John. Nikki says she will be more successfull than John. Brie calls Bryan and tells him this, and Bryan can't see what the big deal until she tells Bryan that she told Nikki that she's delusional. Bryan tells Brie that she was in the wrong, and asks her to be more supportive of Nikki and to apologize.

Mark Carrano asks Paige how she is doing, and asks her to be honest. Carrano tells her that he knows about her neck, and takes her off television to get her neck fixed. Paige is ticked off that all this has happened because she told Eva Marie. Paige confronts Eva Marie in front of Nattie and calls her "a piece of shit." Eva has no idea what Paige is talking about, and Nattie tells Paige that she was the one who told Carrano and that everyone in the locker room was concerned about her neck, and was not aware Paige was keeping it a secret. Paige isn't convinced, and feels that everyone is against her. Eva ends up putting her friendship with Paige on hold.

Brie apologizes to Nikki, who tells Brie that John Cena has inspired her to be a little more ambitious.
