The show begins in the arena parking lot with Courtney Cox-Arquette telling David Arquette that what he is doing could get him hurt and could be dangerous, as he is not a wrestler. Nevertheless, David Arquette can't help but celebrate the fact that he is WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
Diamond Dallas Page, David Arquette and Chris Kanyon's car is stopped by Vince Russo. Russo is accompanied by Jeff Jarrett and members of The New Blood. All of a sudden, a midnight blue Dodge Charger rams into the limo, and Hulk Hogan climbs out to fight members of The New Blood. Members of WCW security rush in to break up any and all brawls.
"Screamin'" Norman Smiley and a mystery partner dressed up as a football mascot - who spends of the match with their mask stuck between the ropes and all of it not getting in any offense - beat Crowbar in a two-on-one handicap match after Norman unwittingly trips over his own partner to win on a roll-up.
Backstage, David Arquette tells Diamond Dallas Page it's been fun, but he does not deserve to be the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. DDP tells Arquette he and Chris Kanyon will take care of it.
Jeff Jarrett is seen bckstage with Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo, Miss Elizabeth (who is handcuffed and escorted by two members of WCW security) and Kimberly, while Team Package ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and The Total Package) are seen entering the arena.
On the set of 3,000 Miles To Graceland, Courtne-Cox Arquette tries to tell David Arquette that what he is doing is dangerous, but David tells her it will be alright and that Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo need to be taught a lesson. He says that Chris Kanyon and Diamond Dallas Page will be there to watch his back. The director then walks by and does not believe that David is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and David goes after him with a steel chair as Courtney tells David he is not a wrestler.
We see "The Perfect One" Shawn Stasiak attempt to break the record for free throw shooting in the spirit of the NBA Playoffs.
David Arquette, Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Kanyon show up. Arquette says it is a dream come true for him to be WCW World Heavyweight Champion and that the last week has been amazing. He thanks the fans for their kind treatment and says they are incredible, but he admits he is an entertainer and not a wrestler. Tonight, he plans to relinquish the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, as he does not deserve it, and puts it up for grabs in a triple cage match between DDP and Jeff Jarrett at Slamboree. As DDP, Kanyon and Arquette leave, Jarrett shows up with Eric Bischoff, Kimberly, Miss Elizabeth and Vince Russo. Russo pulls out a baseball bat as Jarrett asks Arquette who died and made him Commissioner. He says he, Bischoff and Russo make the rules around here, not Arquette, and the way he sees things, Arquette made the decision to cross the line, step in the ring and become a wrestler, and from here on out, this is how he is going to be treated. Bischoff tells Arquette he is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion and that it is time he act like a champion. Bischoff then tells Arquette will be in a three-way dance against Jarrett and "D-D-Puke." Suddenly, The Total Package shows up, and he shoves down security as he chases Russo and Miss Elizabeth through the crowd. Bischoff then decides to give Arquette a tune-up for his match at Slamboree by putting him in a match against Tank Abbott. Tank Abbott then shows up, then DDP says Bischoff doesn't have to work at being an asshole before saying that Arquette won't be facing Abbott. Abbott tells DDP to shut up, then DDP tells Abbott to make him shut up, which starts a brawl between both parties in the ring. Security has to rush in to restore order. Abbott then tells DDP that if he wants to go, they can go tonight. If DDP wins, Arquette gets off easy; if Abbott wins, he'll tear Arquette's head off.
Backstage, The Total Package is seen looking for Miss Elizabeth and Vince Russo, threatening to put Russo in the Torture Rack.
"The Perfect One" Shawn Stasiak continues to make free throws at a local gym.
Backstage, Eric Bischoff tells Hugh Morrus that he is "the Knute freakin' Rockne of professional wrestling" because he knows what teamwork is all about. He says that tonight, Morrus will learn what teamwork is all about when he, Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett will be in a three-way dance, and if anyone in Misfits in Action interferes, they will all be fired on the spot.
The Wall beats Horace Hogan in a Tables Match after Kidman interferes. During the match, Miss Hancock shows up to scout both men. After the match, Kidman and The Wall continue to attack Horace Hogan until Hulk Hogan shows up, which forces Kidman and The Wall to retreat. Mike Awesome gets in the ring, and Kidman and The Wall get back in to outnumber Hulk Hogan. Before they can put Hulk Hogan through a table, however, Hulk Hogan gets back up, but the regained momentum is short lived as Hogan gets Awesome Bombed through a table.
We see Vampiro in a graveyard, daring Sting to come and play with him in his home, as he knows curiosity killed the scorpion.
Vince Russo shows up with Miss Elizabeth and the two members of security. Russo tells The Total Package that he does not sweat him and that he will not hide from him all night, and calls him out, promising he will "wreck [his] ass."
Jeff Jarrett is on the cover of the newest issue of WCW Magazine.
Before the next match, Scott Steiner says that if he sees any more signs saying that he sucks, he will do what he does best, which is "kicking white trash, trailer park ass." He also says that the best time he ever had in Alabama was when he left it.
Hugh Morrus beats Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner after Jarrett nails Steiner in the back of the head with a guitar as Steiner has Hugh Morrus in the Steiner Recliner. After the match, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Lash LaRoux and Van Hammer celebrate with Hugh Morrus.
Sting is seen in the graveyard looking for Vampiro.
In backstage footage from moments ago, Eric Bischoff fires Misfits in Action (Hugh Morrus, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Lash LaRoux, Van Hammer).
Backstage, an irritated Vince Russo mouths off at Miss Elizabeth, who really does not enjoy his company.
In the graveyard, Sting finally catches up Vampiro, but loses him. Vampiro hides from Sting and proceeds to smack him with a shovel. He then smacks Sting in the face with a tombstone, sending Sting falling into an open grave, and he walks away after dumping a wheelbarrow on top of Sting. as he hits Sting with it, Sting asks "Who are you?" Vampiro answers "I am the monster you should have been." Sting's hand is seen coming out of the open grave before the show cuts to a commercial break.
Backstage, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair tells The Total Package he has his back tonight.
Tank Abbott beats Diamond Dallas Page by referee stoppage. During the match, Eric Bischoff and Kimberly are seen watching the match from backstage, and David Arquette and Chris Kanyon are locked in their dressing room. Later on in the match, a man in a red cap and sunglasses hits DDP in the head with a battle, knocking him out as he brawls with Tank Abbot in the crowd. That man is really Jeff Jarrett, and he costs DDP the match and allows Tank Abbott to get his hands on David Arquette.
Backstage, Diamond Dallas Page is placed on a stretcher, while Hulk Hogan brawls with Mike Awesome in the locker room.
Kidman shows up. He tells the crowd that they should be thanking him for beating up Hulk Hogan and Horace Hogan while showing what The New Blood is all about, then says The New Blood is about taking "the so-called heroes of this business" and exposing them for "the washed-up pieces of trash that they are." When Kidman says he won't talk anymore, the crowd cheers, then Kidman says the crowd wishes they were that lucky. Kidman says he will finish Hulk Hogan off at Slamboree with Eric Bischoff as special guest referee, then issues an open challenge to anybody who is old and washed-up. Backstage, Terry Taylor tells Kevin Nash about what is going on in the ring, and Kevin Nash shows up and treats Kidman like a human punching bag. This goes on until Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr. - who have not been seen in some time - show up and attack Nash along with Kidman, cementing themselves as members of The New Blood. This does not last long, however, as Kevin Nash comes to and decimates all three men. Rey and Konnan run to the back, and Nash chases after them as they try to get away in a pick-up truck.
After the commercial break, Kevin Nash is seen attacking Konnan near the driver's seat of the pick-up truck before attacking a downed Rey Mysterio Jr.
Vince Russo shows up with Miss Elizabeth and tells "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair that he plans on interfering at Slamboree and enjoying five minutes of kicking his ass. As far as The Total Package is concerned, if The Total Package beats him tonight, he will give him the key to Miss Elizabeth. Russo then tells Miss Elizabeth to do her job and to "Do me, baby." Miss Elizabeth tells Russo to "kiss [her] Kentucky ass," but Russo yanks the microphone away from her before calling The Total Package out again. The Total Package shows up with "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, but Shane Douglas and Buff Bagwell show up to double-team Flair while Russo gets his personal security lined up in the ring. Russo's personal security overpowers The Total Package before macing and handcuffing him. Buff and Douglas then proceed to gang up on The Total Package, and when Miss Elizabeth checks on him, Vince Russo commands her to finish him off with a baseball bat only to get whacked in the back of the knee. After Miss Elizabeth runs for freedom, Kronik (Bryan Adams and Bryan Clark) shows up and attacks Buff Bagwell and Shane Douglas along with every member of Vince Russo's personal security detail. Russo proceeds to high-tail it out of the ring as Kronik destroys everyone. Russo then shows up with local law enforcement, who mace both members of Kronik before nailing them with nightsticks.
Backstage, Chris Kanyon tells David Arquette that he will take care of the situation with Tank Abbott.
Kevin Nash is seen destroying Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr.'s pick-up truck while Konnan is out cold on the seat. Rey is seen crawling under a car. Meanwhile, police are seen arresting The Total Package and Kronik (Brayn Adams and Bryan Clark).
Vampiro shows up. He says that tonight, the hunter has become the hunted, and Sting walked along the line of good and evil only to be helpless as a newborn baby when he was done with him. He says that he is Sting's anti-hero and ahs decided that his destiny has sealed fate, as he is the monster that Sting should have been. He says that Sting found out the he is the one and only true darkness. Suddenly, a crow is seen on the frame of the Nitrovision, then Sting is seen rappling down from the rafters. Sting then gets in the ring and proceeds to strike Vampiro with a baseball bat.
"The Perfect One" Shawn Stasiak is still sinking free throws in a local gymnasium.
Vince Russo confronts Miss Elizabeth in the women's dressing room only to get slapped in the face.
When David Arquette shows up to the ring with Chris Kanyon, Kanyon is ejected from the match by referee Billy Silverman.
David Arquette beats Tank Abbott. During the match, Jeff Jarrett, Kimberly and Eric Bischoff are seen watching from backstage. Shortly afterwards, Diamond Dallas Page returns from within the back of an ambulance before Tank Abbott knocks out the referee, and when DDP's music hits, Bischoff sends Jarrett to head him off at the pass, but DDP comes out through the crowd, hits a Diamond Cutter on Abbott, places Arquette on top of Abbott and revives referee Billy Silverman to get Arquette the win. After the match, DDP carries Arquette to the back.
We see footage from moments ago where Scott Steiner assaults Jeff Jarrett backstage in revenge for the guitar shot to the head from earlier tonight.
"The Perfect One" Shawn Stasiak is attacked from behind by Curt Hennig before he can break the record for most consecutive free throws.
Mike Awesome beats Hulk Hogan. During the match, Kidman shows up with a steel chair, but Hogan sees him coming, hits him in the gut and hits him with the chair. Eric Bischoff shows up as Hogan continues to brawl outside with Awesome, and Kidman drops from the top rope to hit Hogan in the head with a steel chair on the outside. Afterwards, Kidman demands that referee Slick Johnson count the pinfall, and Awesome wins. After the match, Hogan returns to the ring and hits both Awesome and Kidman with a steel chair, then a man in a Sting mask climbs into the ring only to reveal that he is just a fan. As security chase the man down, blood drops down from the ceiling of the arena, landing on Hogan. The Wall, Shane Douglas and Buff Bagwell run in to attack Hogan while Bischoff watches from the stage as the show ends.
