"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, The Disciple and Eric Bischoff show up. Bischoff says he feels nothing but love and admiration for Hogan, who feels nothing but love and admiration for his nWo-ites and disciples. He cannot, however, stand what happened last night. Hogan says the World title is his, and that "Macho Man" Randy Savage is the scum that crawls in the river in Hell, and when he and Kevin Nash got the title, it made the nWo-ites sick. He tells Savage the doors are blocked and the entrances are covered, and the nWo-ites will not let him leave the building. He also says that if it weren't for Kevin Nash, he wouldn't even have the title. He calls Savage out, wanting a shot at the title that he claims is rightfully his. He says a few WCW fans have predicted what happpened, and that the inevitable has happened: the nWo has finally split. Tonight, when he gets his hands on Savage in the middle of the ring and wins the World title back, the nWo-ites will know that even after the split, they will find out who follows him and who doesn't. He also tells Kevin Nash that if he sticks his nose in his business, The Disciple will put an end to his world with the Apocalypse.
Goldberg is seen getting fired up for his match with Raven for the United States title in the locker room.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up. He says he didn't come here to gloat; instead, he came here to fight. He says there is only one coward in the building shaking in his boots, and he's in a lot of trouble. The coward he is referring to is "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, and he hates him in life and in death. Savage says that the fact that he is the World champion and not Hogan is getting to Hogan, then says his main objective was not to lead the nWo. He says Hogan is not the man and that his world is coming to an end soon. Savage says he knows Hogan ran him over with the Dodge Viper, but even that didn't stop him from wrestling Hogan in the ring tonight. He then shocks the world, and says nobody can stop him stop him now when he introduces the new leader of the nWo: Kevin Nash. The self-proclaimed "Big Sexy, The Giant Killer" shows up in a track suit, and tells Hogan that last night was just step one - the end of Hogan's career. He tells Hogan that he can no longer call the nWo his and that tonight, Savage will make it final when he beats him on Nitro in the middle of the ring, and if The Disciple decides to stick his nose in their business, he gets a Jackknife Power Bomb. He also warns Eric Bischoff that if he sticks his nose in their business, he'll Jackknife him, too. Nash says he warned Hogan he would drive a stake into his heart, and now he has done it.
Raven is backstage in a locker room shower. He tells Goldberg he will not be #75 in a 75-0 undefeated streak, as he has drowned in seas of indifference and floundered in the pain of his childhood but will not stop for him. He beat Diamond Dallas Page for the United States title, and he will beat him, too.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund plugs the WCW Hotline.
Konnan beats Chris Adams with a half crab. During the match, it is announced that the encore presentation of Spring Stampede will be on pay-per-view all this week.
We see Goldberg getting mentally prepared for his match in the locker room again.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls. This week's Nitro Party Prize Pack winner is Dana Marengelli from Clemson University, and we see footage of her Nitro party, where Nitro is seen by hundreds of students on the video screen on the scoreboard at the football field.
The Barbarian beats Wayne Bloom.
Raven still sits in a locker room shower, telling Goldberg he is next. He comes from hate and from pain, and it is mind over matter. He tells Goldberg the streak is over.
Before the next match, Chris Jericho shows up with a portrait of Dean Malenko and an easel that he places it on. He has erected a shrine to Malenko as he respects him more than any other, and says that Dean Malenko has retired from pro wrestling and will never step in a wrestling ring again, but he does have an interview at Harry's Burgers in Tampa, Florida and when he gets the job, Jericho will let everyone know. Raven's Flock is seen in the front row before Jericho enters the ring.
Chris Jericho retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Juventud Guerrera after Juventud Guerrera blacks out from the pain.
We see Goldberg working out with some resistance ropes in the locker room in the final minutes before his match with Raven for the United States title.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
Goldberg beats Raven to become the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion! This happens after Goldberg fights off Raven's Flock and hits Reese with a Jackhammer before the fans throw Raven back into the ringside area when he tries to escape. Goldberg's undefeated streak extends to 75 wins after the match.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
La Parka beats Ultimo Dragon. During the match, Eddie Guerrero shows up and forces Chavo Guerrero Jr. to come with him, and Eddie commands him to attack Ultimo Dragon as he distracts the referee. Chavo hits Ultimo Dragon from behind on the top rope, allowing La Parka the victory.
Rick Rude boots Mike Tenay off the commentary table to briefly guest on commentary for the next match.
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Curt Hennig by disqualification when Rick Rude attacks Benoit as he has Hennig in the Crippler Crossface. Rude and Henning continue to attack Benoit after the match, but Booker T heads into the ring, clearing it out and saving Benoit. Benoit catches up with Booker T, and tells him to stay out of his business. Booker T chooses to walk away, but when Benoit turns him around, Booker punches him, starting a brawl that quickly makes its way backstage.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews WCW Commissioner "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. He says there's a lot of excitement going on, and it all started at Spring Stampede. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash may have won and given him a night of favor, he says it's only right for him to return the favor. He knows every trick Hogan has, and makes the World title match between Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage no-disqualification and no run-ins, and if Hogan tries to escape to the back, he will be forced back into the ring. He doesn't care how long the match takes, even if takes all night, as there will be a winner. After all that, Hogan will be his, and he'll make Hogan so miserable he'll wish he was a piece of roadkill.
Hammer and Saturn wrestle to a double count-out, then continue to wrestle on the stage.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell beat Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) after Buff Bagwell gets off the table at ringside so Rocco Rock accidentally puts Johnny Grunge through it and Scott Steiner allows Buff to hit Rocco Rock with the Buff Blockbuster.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Booker T retains the WCW World Television Championship against Psychosis.
Lex Luger beats Brian Adams with the running forearm after Konnan and Vincent try to interfere only to be put in the Torture Rack.
Before the next match, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan calls out "Macho Man" Randy Savage so he can show him who the real leader of the nWo is. He also tells Savage that after the match is over, he'll make a speed bump out of him with his Dodge Viper.
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan beats "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. During the match, The Disciple hits referee Nick Patrick with the Apocalypse as Patrick tries to stop Savage from choking Hogan in the corner. With Nick Patrick knocked out, Hogan and The Disciple wreak havoc on Savage's injured knee. The Disciple then hits Savage with the Apocalypse on Savage on the World title, then Kevin Nash shows up. He confronts Hogan, but he is grabbed by the bottom of his leg by Eric Bischoff. Hogan tries to hit Nash with the World title, but he ducks it and Hogan hits The Disciple with the belt instead. Nash hits Hogan with the Jackknife Power Bomb, then places Savage on top of Hogan. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart shows up and nails Kevin Nash with the World title as Nash gets the referee up, then places Hogan on top of Savage, allowing Hogan to win the World title. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper shows up and confronts Bret for his actions only for Bret to punch him out, cementing a heel turn to end the show.
