Generation NXT - NXT recap for November 8, 2017

Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovich) beat Chris Payne and Sean Maluta.

Christy St. Cloud interviews Ember Moon, who says Mercedes Martinez can meet her in the ring next week so she can see why she is the biggest threat in the NXT Women's Division.

Kairi Sane beats Billie Kay despite the distraction by Peyton Royce.

General Manager William Regal meets with Kassius Ohno in his office. Ohno wants to go for the NXT Championship again, and he wants to start by facing Lars Sullivan at NXT TakeOver: War Games. William Regal grants him the match.

We see a video package documenting the history of the War Games Match.

Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega are interviewed. Zelina says she wouldn't be as successful as she is if she gave away her secrets, and the only one who knows them are Almas. She says that she and Almas met Drew McIntyre face to face, and that Drew just was not ready for it. As for Almas' relationship with Zelina, she admits they have a past and that she has known him for seven years. She says the fans have seen the old Almas, and that the new Almas is head and shoulders above the rest and Drew McIntyre will find that out first-hand. Almas says he will become the new NXT Champion.

Velveteen Dream quickly beats Cezar Bononi. After the match, Velveteen Dream tells Aleister Black that he gave him what he needed, and now he is on his mind. At NXT TakeOver: War Games, when all that is dark comes to light, he will get what he wants when Aleister says his name.

In footage from earlier today, Ruby Riot finds out she will need two more weeks before she comes back. Sonya Deville shows up and says this could have been avoided if she tapped out. She also blames Ruby Riot for her being out of the title picture. Ruby tells her she should have broken her, and that it's her fault she's out of it. When she comes back, they can go one-on-one to see who deserves an opportunity at the Women's title. Sonya Deville accepts that challenge and leaves the trainer's room. Ruby Riot tells the interview she will definitely be ready for that match.

Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) do a video in the halls of Full Sail University when a man in a suit shows up. They hand him an official Street Profits party cup. A man delivering a suit shows up, and says he is looking for Tino Sabbatelli. Montez Ford says he is Tino, and he takes the suit. As he and Dawkins check out the suit, Tino and Riddick Moss show up. They tell Street Profits to stop touching their stuff, as their suit is $5,000 and custom-made. Angelo Dawks challenges them to a match next week. Moss and Tino accept.

Next week: Dree McIntyre and Andrade "Cien" Almas meet face-to-face!

Roderick Strong vs. Adam Cole ends in a no-contest when Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly get in the ring to save Cole. After the match, The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) show up to defend Roderick Strong, and SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain) also shows up. All three teams go at it in the ring. The show ends with Strong hitting Cole with a top rope superplex to the outside, taking everyone in the brawl out.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for September 14, 2016

Samoa Joe shows up to start the show. He says that when you experience a loss, you tend to reflect and see what you've turned into. He says he was a disgrace as NXT Champion, as he choked people out and destroyed friendships, but he has no apologies as he wanted to be the champion of the hottest brand in WWE and says that NXT is the best. He then asks "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura to come to the ring and says that he will not leave until Nakamura shows up. Nakamura shows up and Joe tells him that he meant everything that he said prior to their match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, then calls Nakamura a deserving and worthy champion. He tells Nakamura that as soon as he is ready to go, he will use his rematch clause. Nakamura tells him it's on, and Joe almost leaves when he turns around and offers his hand, and the two men shake hands. As Nakamura is about to head to the back, Joe returns and manhandles Nakamura, revealing that his eating humble pie was all a set-up as he sends Nakamura into the steel steps before officials break up the brawl. We then see that a stretcher is readied for Nakamura, and General Manager William Regal shows up to check on him, as does Corey Graves.

An angry Samoa Joe speeds off as an angry William Regal looks for him.

Liv Morgan beats Racehl Fazio by submission with a guillotine choke. After the match, Liv Morgan challenges Asuka for the NXT Women's Championship, saying that she's standing in the ring and is ready to fight after Asuka has run through the rest of the Women's division. It is announced during the match that "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura has been transported to a local medical facility.

Hideo Itami beats Drew Gulak. It is announced before the match that Shinsuke Nakamura has feeling in all of his extremities.

The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) beat Doug Sessa and Chris Payne.

"The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger says he has had his ups and downs, but he's recently gone back up again, and says he is and always will be "a perfect ten."

Bobby Roode beats No Way Jose.
