After Dark - AEW Dark recap for February 14, 2023

The Jericho Appreciation Society ("Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard) beats Fuego del Sol and Leon Ruffin.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. He says that last month marked his 30th year in professional wrestling and that he is glad to be a part of AEW as it has become successful. He says that this success has brought in other wrestlers who are younger and tougher than him, and while some say that his best days are behind him, he says . He says his 30 years have brought him and that experience trumps youth, strength, speed and agility and if there is any problem that his skills cannot solve, his mind can solve it. He then says that he has signed an open contract, and if anyone signs it and gets in the way of what he wants, they had better say their prayers.

Mei Suruga beats Hyena Hera by submission.

The Varsity Athletes ("The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and "The Technical Beast" Josh Woods) beat Da Russell Twins (Allen and Kameron Russell).

Kip Sabian beats Gravity.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Smart" Mark Sterling and The Varsity Athletes ("The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and "The Technical Beast" Josh Woods). Sterling says absolute domination is coming next, as the two of them wrestling absolutely blows him away and their cohesion is next-level. Nese says Woods is the best partner he has ever had in his career, then Trent Beretta reminds Nese that they were partners in the past. Nese says Trent was and is a good partner, but he cannot hold a candle to either him or Woods. He tells Nese to stop being a tough guy and to stay out of his interviews, then Trent challenges Nese to a match where nobody else is at ringside. Sterling says he will be at ringside because it is in his contract, but Trent says he does not care.

"The Reality" Zack Clayton beats Dan Adams.

Brock Anderson and Brian Pillman Jr. beat The Trust Busters (Jeeves Kay and Sonny Kiss).

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth, who says that he is filming his third feature film of the year before saying that he seems scum and ugly people in every town that he goes to, and that he is reminded of cleanliness, decorum and attractive bodies in Hollywood, California. He then tells the fans to buy a bar of soap, take it home and wash the filth off of themselves, then look in the mirror and realize that they suck compared to him. He then ends with a "Let's Go Hunk" chant before catching a flight.

"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels beats Serpentico after Luther and Angelico's interference attempt backfires.

Before the next match, Ari Daivari proposes to J. Spade that if he can beat him by pinfall, submission, count-out or disqualification, he will give him and everyone in the crowd $1,000 from his very own trust. He then tells J. Spade that the fans are depending on them and to not let them down.

Ari Daivari beats J. Spade.

Diamante beats Ultra Violette.

Dalton Castle and The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) beat Larry Lazard, Terry Yaki and Jay Lucas in a trios match.

Konosuke Takeshita beats Bronson.
