The show starts with a replay of the ending of last night's Raw. Charlotte Flair then shows up. She says that since day one, WrestleMania was her destiny, and that her heart does not break for Becky Lynch. Charlotte also reminds the fans that Becky Lynch chose her as her replacement for Survivor Series, as she is the backbone of the SmackDown women's division. She says that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon picked her to replace Becky because he made a smart business decision to pick a future Hall of Famer to replace someone who has had just a few good month. She says that WrestleMania is the biggest match of the year, and it should not be wasted on a "flash in the pan," and while the fans may not like Vince's decision, they will be on their feet chanting "This is awesome!" She then dares the fans to boo her, which they do. Afterwards, she dedicates her eventual WrestleMania victory to Becky Lynch, then mocks the "You suck!" chants before announcing that she is sitting front row for "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey at Elimination Chamber as she may have a new WrestleMania opponent.
It is announced that a member of The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) will be replacing Mustafa Ali - who is not medically cleared due to cumulative injuries over the last few weeks - in tonight's Gauntlet Match between the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match participants as well as the Chamber match itself. (In reality, Mustafa Ali is out with a concussion.)
We hear from the three tag teams in the next match talk about why they want the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.
Carmella and Naomi beat the team of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville and The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) in a Tag Team Triple Threat Match. As per pre-match stipulation, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville will not get a pod in Sunday's Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. After the match, The IIconics attack Carmella and Naomi.
We hear post-match comments from the Raw brand teams in the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships Elimination Chamber Match.
We hear from Mustafa Ali, who says that he has been taking a lot of big hits lately and has taken another one. He is no longer medically cleared and no longer in the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship. While he is devastated he is out of the match, it is not the end for him and that it will take more than all the physical abuse he has taken over the last few weeks to keep him down.
It's time for McMiz TV. Tonight's guests are The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso). Miz announces that he has been shooting new episodes of Miz & Mrs., and that Shane McMahon will soon be guest starring on NCIS: Los Angeles. Afterwards, Shane introduces The Usos. The Usos show up, then put The Miz and Shane McMahon to "the tag team test," which Miz and Shane immediately makes fun of. It does not take long for things to get heated between the two teams, and the show immediately ends with Shane telling The Usos that he and Miz will come out on top Sunday before The Usos superkick them both.
Before the next match, "The New" Daniel Bryan says there are a lot of people who want him to lose the WWE Championship this Sunday, and that these people are lying to themselves because they are fickle and need somebody like him to show them how to live their lives. He says the fans need him as WWE Champion, but he does not want to participate in the Elimination Chamber match, for it is painful and horrible and will shorten his career. However, he has to sacrifice, and his sacrifice is necessary for him to win and stay WWE Champion. Daniel Bryan is then interrupted by The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods). It is revealed that Kofi Kingston will replace Mustafa Ali in the Gauntlet Match.
Randy Orton beats "The New" Daniel Bryan, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Kofi Kingston and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles to go last in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match on Sunday. During the match, Joe attacks Kofi and puts him in the Coaquina Clutch in response to being unexpectedly eliminated, and multiple referees have to break the hold. When "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles runs in, Styles stomps Joe off of Kofi to break the hold. When Styles eliminates Kofi with the Calf Crusher, Xavier Woods and Big E show up to help Kofi to the back after over 60 minutes of in-ring action. After this, Randy Orton eliminates Styles with an RKO out of nowhere after creeping up on Styles from behind to get the victory and the last entry slot in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match on Sunday to end the show.
Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
