Generation NXT - NXT recap for February 20, 2019

Aleister Black beats Roderick Strong. After the match, the rest of The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly) runs out and attacks Aleister, and Ricochet runs into the ring to make the save and force The Undisputed Era to retreat.

We see footage from the Performance Center from last week where "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir terrorize the women's locker room.

We see a vignette for Bianca Belair, who says that she made 2018 her year and that she had her match at NXT TakeOver: Phoenix won until the referee went down. She still has an undefeated mindset, then talks about her match two weeks ago. She tells Kairi Sane and Io Shirai to wait their turn for a Women's title shot, or else they will find out why she is undefeated.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic returns in two weeks! The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly), the team of Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel, The Forgotten Sons (Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler) and Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) are the first four teams in the tournament to be revealed, with the other four teams to be revealed next week.

Mia Yim beats Xia Li. After the match, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir gang up on Mia Yim, and some of the female trainees from the Performance Center rush in to even the odds only to be overpowered. Duke and Shafir then hold Mia Yim down for Baszler, who boots Mia in the face.

Backstage, Candace LeRae meets with Johnny Gargano, saying "You know what we need to do." Tommaso Ciampa shows up, saying "If you need me tonight, I'm here." Gargano says he won the North American title and that he doesn't need him; he has everything in Candace. Gargano says that he is going to be "Johnny Freakin' Wrestling" in the ring tonight, then leaves with Candace. Ciampa says he will be watching.

We see some footage where Jeremy Borash interviews Matt Riddle. Riddle says he was once told that he should be told to tone it down rather than tone it up. He also mentions that he is glad that he is done with Kassius Ohno and can focus on what is really important. He plans to get his hands on any championship gold he can get his hands on, and nothing will stop him. The rest of the interview is now available on WWE's YouTube channel.

Next week: "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler vs. Mia Yim!

Velveteen Dream beats Johnny Gargano to become the NXT North American Champion!
