Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 1, 2019

The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) and Taurus beat The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) and Daga. After the match, Pentagon Jr. takes the microphone and tells LAX that if they feel they are capable of beating them one more time, then they challenge them to another match for the Impact World Tag Team Championships. He says that while everyone is talking about their match at Homecoming, they can do it all again next week.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Killer Kross and Moose. Kross says everything went according to plan last week until "The Machine" Brian Cage showed up, and he tells Cage that he is not invincible and will learn that soon. He says the only thing worse than an impostor is a hypocrite. Moose tells him to calm down, saying that composure is the key to victory and that Johnny Impact and Cage will implode.

Konnan talks with Santana and Ortiz. He says that Taurus and Daga showed promise in Impact tonight, then tells them that he feels will not be a rift between The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) and The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) this time around if they stay professional.

The GWN Flashback of the Week is Rosemary vs. Su Yung from May 3, 2018.

Rebellion is live on pay-per-view on April 28th!

Kiera Hogan and Jordynne Grace beat Su Yung and Allie. During the match, the lights go out, and Su Yung is replaced with Rosemary when the lights come back. The resulting distraction gives Kiera and Jordynne the win.

"The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux spars with Bobo near the pool.

Eddie Edwards and Eli Drake beat The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) after Eddie brings Kenny the Kendo stick into the ring. As the ref keeps Eddie out of the ring, Eli sneaks Kenny into the ring and hits Dezmond Xavier in the head with Kenny before hitting Gravy Train for the win.

We see a video message from Tessa Blanchard, She says that Taya Valkyrie talks behind her back, and while Impact has suspended her, she said she would perform her backstage attack all over again. She says if it wasn't for Taya, she would still be Knockouts Champion. On February 15th, she comes back, and she dares Taya to defend the Knockouts title against her then.

We hear from Rich Swann, who says that Sami Callihan was his family in the business when nobody else was, but through the years, he has learned who the real Sami Callihan is. He says that while Sami Callihan still has a place in his heart, what he wants for him is not fair.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Taya Valkyrie. Taya says this title rematch could have happened sooner if Tessa Blanchard didn't get suspended, but she is game for a rematch and she wants it to be a Street Fight Match.

Psycho Clown beats Fallah Bahh with a La Magistral Cradle.

Backstage, "The Machine" Brian Cage and Johnny Impact reluctantly agree to get through their match so that they can have their match at Uncaged.

In the locker room, Psycho Clown speaks with the rest of Team AAA and gets them fired up for their match against Team Impact.

Killer Kross and Moose beat Johnny Impact and "The Machine" Brian Cage following miscommunication between Johnny and Cage.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
