205:Alive - 205 Live recap for February 19, 2019

Humberto Carrillo beats TJP. During the match, Drew Gulak and "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher show up to give Carrillo their support. After the match, Gulak and Gallagher praise Carrillo on his win, and say that he has potential before carrying him into the air.

We hear from "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese, who says he proved to Noam Dar that he is the better man. He says 205 Live is his for the taking, as he has smashed all obstacles keeping him from his full potential. He says that he will win the eight-man tournament and become Cruiserweight Champion at WrestleMania.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Mike Kanellis. Maria Kanellis says Mike has been in the business for 16 years and successful all over the world, and has not done it by taking the easy way out and ducking the tough competitors. She says that tonight, Mike will take out Cedric Alexander and prove why he is the most dangerous man here.

Before the next match, Ariya Daivari says that tonight, they will bear witness to his destruction of the Cruiserweight Division, and tonight, he will beat the opponent so badly that nobody will sue the referee for the wrong call. He then says that unlike the New Orleans Saints, he is actually going to his company's Super Bowl.

Ariya Daivari beats Johnny Lyons with the Cobra Clutch.

We hear from Buddy Murphy, who says it must be hard for General Manager Drake Maverick to run a brand with a champion like him. Murphy brags about the opponents that he has successfully defended the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against thus far, and mentions Maverick's idea of an eight-man tournament to decide his next challenger. He wants to know who will face him at WrestleMania.

Maria Kanellis sits at ringside for the next match.

Cedric Alexander beats Mike Kanellis. During the match, Kanellis almost wins it, but Cedric barely gets one of his shoulders up in the nick of time, causing the referee to wave the result off and let the match continue. Cedric gets the win after hitting the Lumbar Check and crawling over to the pin.

It is announced by General Manager Drake Maverick that two of the first-round match-ups in the eight-man tournament that starts next week are Kalisto vs. "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and The Brian Kendrick vs. Drew Gulak.
