Jay Lethal beats "The Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay. During the match, "The Villain" Marty Scurll shows up before the first commercial break, then guests on commentary for the rest of the match. Both men shake hands after the match.
It's time for Coleman's Pulpit. This week's special guest is Jonathan Gresham, who picks the high chair over the low chair. He was trained by Mr. Hughes back in 2005, and has eked out a name for himself ever since. He warns Coleman to watch how he speaks to him after he mentions that he has not been winning as of late, then says he has been losing matches for the wrong reasons. He feels he has mastered his style and wanted to show it off in Ring of Honor, and wants to get some rules in place for guys who love wrestling in its original form like he does, but he has not made any headway with it.
Kenny King beats Brian Milonas. After the match, he congratulates Milonis on a good fight, then says he cannot stop thinking about "The Last Real Man" Silas Young and wants to "knock his ass out." He calls Silas out so they can finish the fight. Silas shows up, and both men brawl. Kenny King gets the upper hand, but suddenly, Milonis gets back into the ring and attacks Kenny King from behind, revealing Milonis to be The Beer City Bruiser's tag partner on the road to tag team gold.
The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian) and Scorpio Sky show up, wondering why Ian Ricobonni asked them to come to the ring. Daniel introduces themselves to be known from now on as "SoCal Uncensored." Suddenly, ROH CEO Joe Koff shows up and says he wanted Ian to ask them to come out to the ring, and says he wants to see the best wrestlers in the world, and SoCal Uncensored are the most disruptive, not the best. If he had it his way, he would fire them on the spot. Kazarian threatens to kick Joe Koff's ass, but Daniels stops him and says Joe Koff won't fire them because they have talked in the office and he can tell other people what ROH's expansion plans are if he were to be fired now. He then tells Joe Koff "We know where the bodies are buried." Joe Koff says he has contacted his attorney, and mentions that The Addiction's contracts expire in a year. He tells Daniels and Kazarian to enjoy their year, because after Final Battle 2018, The Addiction is done.
The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) tell The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) that it is nothing personal, and that no tag team in the world can do what The Briscoes can do. It only makes sense that they get the ROH tag team titles back.
Dalton Castle and The Boys beat The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, TK O'Ryan). Near the end of the match, TK O'Ryan places an ax in the ring, but Vinny Marseglia taps to the Julie Newmar Lock before he can grab it.
Next week: The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs. Titan and Dragon Lee vs. Best Friends (Trent Barretta and Chuckie T) in a three-way tag team match!
