November to Remember 1997 - The Results

The Triple Threat ("No Gimmicks Needed" Chris Candido and Lance Storm_ beat Tommy Rogers and Jerry Lynn. During the match, which originally stars out at Tommy Rogers vs. "No Gimmicks Needed" Chris Candido, Lance Storm shows up and attacks Tommy Rogers, but Jerry Lynn shows up and makes the save by going after Candido. Referee Jon Finnegan grabs the microphone a few minutes later and declares the match a tag match.

We see a short video package of Mikey Whipwreck and Justin Credible.

Mikey Whipwreck beats Justin Credible, putting Justin Credible's undefeated streak to an end after Jason and Justin Credible's double-team attempt backfires. After the match, it is announced that Al Snow is in the locker room "getting head." Turns out, he's talking to Head, blaming Head for the news of him being injured going around and not being able to wrestle tonight. Snow almost dumped Head for calling Eric Bischoff and looking for work without him, but took him back after a "free shot."

Paul E. Dangerously guests on commentary for the next match.

Tazz quickly retains the ECW World Television Championship against Pitbull #2 with the Tazzmission. Pitbull #1 gets in the ring, but gets hit with a Pump Handle Tazz-plex. Tazz tehn says it's obvious Lance Wright brought his boyfriend with him, and that it's also obvious that Vince McMahon gave Lance Wright a present and that the guy sticks needles up his ass. He dares the muscle-bound man to get in the ring with him so he can see the difference between "cum-drunk" and punch-drunk. The security guard tries to stop the guy from getting in the ring, but Tazz tells him to make his $4 an hour protecting the crowd. He then slaps the security guard before beating him up and choking him out.

We see a short video package of Bam Bam Bigelow.

The show abruptly cuts to The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido, "The Big Don" Tommy Rich, Tracy Smothers) saying they will show what kind of champions they're doing tonight. D-Von Dudley takes the microphone and says it's time for "The Quintessential Studmiffin" Joel Gertner to speak. After Gertner introduces The Dudleys (Buh Buh Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Big Dick Dudley, Sign Guy Dudley), Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoneey attack Buh Buh Ray and D-Von with steel chairs, and the match starts. Not long afterwards, The Gangstanators (New Jack and John Kronus) show up with a garbage can full of weapons and the match becomes an all-out war.

The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido and Tracy Smothers) retais the ECW World Tag Team Championships against The Gangstanators (New Jack and John Kronus), The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) and the team of Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney. The Gangstanators are eliminated after New Jack busts Tommy Rich open with a guitar and Kronus tries to hit a top rope 450 splash on him only to be hit in the back with an Italian flag by Little Guido and a cutter by Buh Buh Ray. The Dudley Boyz are eliminated when Axl Rotten ducks powder thrown at his face by "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner and the powder hits Buh Buh Ray in the face instead, leading to an accidental Dudley Death Drop on D-Von. During the match, accidentally swings Little Guido into referee John Finegan, and referee Jeff "Pee Wee" Moore shows up to make the count for Balls Mahoney only to stop when he sees that Finegan is down. As Moore tends to Finegan, Balls Mahoney puts his hands on him only to get kicked in the groin, and Little Guido goes for a schoolboy pin where he grabs Mahoney's shorts to get the win.

In footage from earlier today, "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer says the doctor has told him he shouldn't be here with a torn shoulder and a broken heel. He says that he has lived with pain and dealt with it. He tells Rob Van Dam that he's a better athlete, and if this were any other type of match, he would win. But tonight, he defends ECW, and not Rob, any other wrestler or any other company will stop him, and Van Dam will know what the revolution is all about.

We see a video package of Rob Van Dam and "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer.

"Mr. Monday Night" Rob Van Dam beats "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer. During the match, Bill Alfonso pulls the referee out of the ring and attacks him with a road sign, knocking him out. Jim Molano takes his place, but referee Jeff "Pee Wee" Moore knocks out Molano and referee John Finegan has to replace Molineaux. Jones jumps on referee John Finegan, then wants to fight Finegan and Molineaux. Beulah McGillicutty hits Moore with a low blow and Finegan and Molineaux hit Moore with a double-team DDT, then Alfonso hits a low blow on Finegan and Molineaux before Beulah does the same to him. Beulah has to be the referee for a while, and Dreamer has to fight off WWF tag team Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon. He keeps them out of the ring only to be super kicked by...Stevie Richards, who isn't scheduled to be here and hasn't been seen since he headed for World Championship Wrestling. Furnas and LaFon place a trash can on top of Dreamer, and Van Dam lands on it with a frog splash to get the win. Furnas, LaFon and Stevie Richards make the three-count for the win, and Bill Alfonso dedicates the win to "my personal, good friend" Vince McMahon. Furnas, LaFon and Richards then place Dreamer on a table, and Alfonso drapes a WWF banner on top of him. Sabu shows up and hits Beaulah from the top rope, and Dreamer places himself on top of Beulah to protect her. The Sandman then shows up for the next match.

Sabu beats The Sandman in a violent Tables And Ladders Match with an Atomic Arabian Facebuster to a ladder on The Sandman. The Sandman gets up to a standing ovation after the match.

Tazz gets on commentary, and tells Bam Bam Bigelow to beat "The Franchise" Shane Douglas tonight so he can challenge him at Living Dangerously on March 1st. It is then announced that Living Dangerously is the next ECW pay-per-view.

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas beats Bam Bam Bigelow with a belly-to-belly suplex into a broken half of a table propped up by a chair set up by Bigelow to win the ECW World Heavyweight Championship for a third time. At one point, "no Gimmicks Needed" Chris Candido and Lance Storm - who are barred from ringside for the match - try to get Shane Douglas out of the ring but are stopped by ECW security. Bigelow notices both of them and tosses Shane Douglas into Candido, Storm and ECW security. Francine gets in the ring and tries to hit Bigelow with one of her crutches, but it has no effect, and Bigelow takes the crutch and nearly hits her her with it. A trained tends to Douglas after the match.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for November 24, 1997

The New World Order are seen backstage heading to the ring. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan holds up a sign from the crowd saying "Bischoff owns Vince" in the ring, and Eric Bischoff says that the nWo has business to take care of. Curt Hennig is congratulated for retaining the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship, and Scott Hall is congratulated for winning the World War 3 match last night. Hogan says that Bischoff has proven he is the supreme power on the planet of wrestling, it's nice to be his main henchman, and he now has total control with the nWo, with Scott Hall dominating World War 3 raising the bar. He says he has the deck stacked in his favor. Since he's in a good mood, Hogan then challenges anyone in the building and puts the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line. All of a sudden, The Giant shows up with WCW Executive Committee head J.J. Dillon, answering Hogan's challenge. Hogan says he'll beat The Giant until he is well done. J.J. Dillon says that The Giant is not medically cleared and cannot let him wrestle, but The Giant insists on wrestling Hogan for the belt, which still has his nameplate on it. J.J. Dillon says that if he is willing to indemnify WCW and not hold them responsible if he gets injured again and sign the paperwork stating just that, he'll let him wrestle. The Giant tells Hogan he'll see him later tonight.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against the debuting Disorderly Conduct (Tough Tom and Mean Mike). Raven's Flock (Raven, Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman, Sick Boy, Van Hammer, an unknown member) are seen sitting in the front row.

This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Dean Malenko! Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray)! Rey Mysterio Jr.! Diamond Dallas Page!

We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

Chris Jericho is seen answering questions in an interview for WCWWrestling.com backstage.

Booker T beats Meng with a roll-up. Meng attacks Booker T after the match and puts him in the Tongan Death Grip after the match, and even after Stevie Ray hits Meng in the back of the head with a wooden chair, he still has the hold on Booker T. Nevertheless, Meng is angered, and The Barbarian shows up to attack Stevie Ray from behind. Meng lets go of Booker T and puts Stevie Ray in the Tongan Death Grip, and keeps it locked in into the break.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews head of the WCW Executive Committee J.J. Dillon. It doesn't take long for the two of them to find Raven in the front row. All of a sudden, Scotty Riggs shows up and jumps the guardrail, and it is noticed that he is dressed very similarly to Raven as he sits down in the front row, signifying that Riggs is the newest member of Raven's Flock. Dillon says that a courier has hand-delivered him a contract signed by Raven to his offices at the CNN Center with a lot of initials and dates on it. Raven says he has signed the contract, but he will not conform to his rules. He put certain stipulation in the contract allowing him to sit where he wants, wrestle who, where and how he wants, and be paid whatever he wants. Dillon is not thrilled with the stipulations, but regards Raven as under contract to WCW. He also wants an explanation for Riggs' actions just earlier, but doesn't get much of one and Okerlund says that the inmates may be running the asylum.

Before the next match, Raven is announced to face "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, but Raven sends out Sick Boy as his representative instead.

"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Sick Boy with the Crippler Crossface after the rest of Raven's Flock (Raven, Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman, Scotty Riggs, Van Hammer, an unknown member) tries to interfere. After the match, the numbers game finally catches up to Benoit.

An announcement paid for the nWo mocks "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko in typical nWo fashion. After the announcement is over, Zbyszko gets in the ring and says the nWo wated a lot of money on that footage. He calls out Scott Hall, saying he wants his challenge answered so he can wipe his face on the mat like he did ten years ago. Instead of Scott Hall, leaflets drop from the roof of the arena, all of them featuring photos of Eric Bischoff with his leg in the victory position on Zbyszko's chest at Halloween Havoc. Zbyszo continues to call Scott Hall out, and says he will not leave the ring until he gets him. Bischoff shows up instead, and says Scott Hall made history by winning last night's World War 3 Match, saying it is current history and not Zbyszko's history as "we can't keep track of that." Bischoff says that Scott Hall is a busy man and is defending the tag titles with Kevin Nash all over the world (despite Hall and Nash not being the official tag team champions). He then says that Zbyszko has never been that good a wrestler, even by today's standards, and that he can't even beat him. Zbyszko dares Bischoff to enter Larry Land, but Bischoff says he's too ugly, too fat and way too slow, and that he doesn't want any of him. Bischoff then accepts the challenge, and Zbyszko dares Bischoff to get in the ring with him. Numerous security guards from both the arena and WCW hold both men back before they can go at it. Zbyszko says they have a verbal agreement and that he will have WCW Executive Committee head J.J. Dillon sign it so fast, but Bischoff tells Zbyszko "Bite me" as he leaves.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.

Prince Iaukea beats Alex Wright after Debra McMichael gets hung up on the turnbuckle while standing on the ring apron. After the match, Alex Wright tells Debra she's fnally had it with her and fires her.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage beats Disco Inferno. Before the next match, it is announced that the replay of World War 3 will be on Thanksgiving night, and we see Raven's unknown Flock member carrying a sign saying "This is my spot" with an arrow below the message pointing at him. After the match, Savage hits Disco with a third top rope elbow drop, then punches out the referee and tosses him out when he tries to stop him from going for a fourth. Savage then spray paints "NWO" on Disco's chest before Miss Elizabeth puts her foot on top of Disco for a "three-count" and Savage hits Disco with a fourth top rop elbow drop.

WCW Nitro is now available on Sony PlayStation!

This week's winner of the Nitro Party Pack is Howard Finsky of Atlanta, Georgia. We see footage of Howard's Nitro party.

Dean Malenko beats Brad Armstrong with the Texas Cloverleaf.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Steve "Mongo" McMichael. Mongo commends Alex Wright for firing Debra McMichael, who suddenly shows up saying that she would do anything to be with him again. Mongo tells Debra to walk up the ramp and get the hell out, and says that if she wants to be somebody on her own, she's got it, and says she should get her own ego instead of hanging onto someone's back.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Buff Bagwell beats Chris Jericho.

Tay Traylor beats Curt Hennig by disqualification after the New World Order attacks Traylor. Curt Hennig retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. Before the match, it is announced that a videocassette on the WCW career of the late Brian Pillman will be released soon, and the proceeds will go directly to Pillman's family. After the match, the nWo attacks Elizabeth, then spray paint "NWO' on his chest.

WCW vs. nWo: World Tour is now available for Nintendo 64!

Shortly after the match, Eric Bischoff and Rick Rude show up kicking Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan off commentary for the rest of the night. After the match, The New World Order shows as Kevin Nash tears The Giant's cast open and twists his heel on it. As the nWo celebrates, the real Sting spins his way down from the raftersbut it's a dummy of Sting that lands through the ring. The nWo hit the head of the Sting dummy with the baseball bat, and Bischoff and Rude have a laugh about it.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 24, 1997

The show starts with Harvey Wippleman - aka "Handsome Harvey" - dressed up like "Ravishing" Rick Rude, coming out to his music and even carrying the steel Halliburton briefcase. He calls the crowd "fat, ugly out-of-shape North Carolina nobodies" and tells them to give him his complete and total silence before bringing out D-Generation X ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna). Shawn says "Lord knows that was a tough spot to fill" - indicating that "Ravishing" Rick Rude is no longer int he group and no longer in the WWF - before he and Triple H boot Harvey out of the ring, then says that taking up airtime is apparently what he does. He hasn't had a lot of sleep since Survivor Series due to what happened between him and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and says he never thought it would end the way it did. He knows that he and Bret had their differences personally and professionally, but never in his wildest dreams did he think it would come down to telling Bret that he takes full and total responsibility for what happened that night. He says the world should know that Bret Hart is still under contract to the World Wrestling Federation until November 30th. Shawn says Bret deserved better, and so did Vince McMahon and the World Wrestling Federation. As God as his witness, he and Bret have finally had contact with each other without anybody's knowledge - not the media's, the Internet's, the underground dirtsheet writers' or even Vince McMahon's. He and Bret have made an agreement. Tonight, they will settle this once and for all, and Shawn tells Bret this is up to him as this can end with either a handshake or a fight. He says he and Bret will meet face-to-face in the ring, and the controversy will be settled once and for all.

Before the next match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn show up, making fun of The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk), wearing shoulder pads much like theirs, saying "Oooh, what a flush!" and saying they are going to wrestle "the last of the dinosaurs." The Legion of Doom do not take too kindly to this, and immediately take the fight to them on the entrance ramp, starting the tag team title match early.

"Road Dog" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn beat The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) to win the WWF Tag Team Championships! This happens after Animal accidentally shoulder tackles the referee, knocking him down. The Legion of Doom have the match won and are about to hit Gunn with the Doomsday Device when Road Dog hits Animal in the back with a chair. Another referee shows up and makes the three-count, allowing Road Dog and Billy Gunn to win the tag titles. During the match, it is announced that ECW has bought some time from WWF for this weekend and that their next pay-per-view, November To Remember, will take place live on pay-per-view on November 30th. After the match, the new champs head backstage and run straight into a Dodge Charger, speeding off in it and almost running into a white limousine as they speed away from the arena.

During the commercial break, referees, officials and even arena security try to calm down The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk), but an arena security guard gets hit with the Doomsday device.

We see a close-up of the white limousine. It is impossible to see who is inside, but it is assumed that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is in the limo.

Goldust shows up, pushed out on a wheelchair by a nurse, giving the middle finger to everyone to the left of him with his right hand as his left remains in a cast - this one now being pink. Michael Cole interviews Goldust, who says that he is an invalid and that "it" - "it" being a broken hand - spread from his hand to his whole body and he became a paraplegic. He says he woke up and couldn't even move, and that it makes him a quadriplegic. He doesn't know if he will ever be 100% again, then asks Goldust to cross his legs for him, as he can't move them, then asks him to move his blanket, which he does. He then asks the nurse to rub alcohol across his shoulders, and says the alocholo is the only thing that soothes his souls. He thanks everyone for the support and the prayers, then Vader shows up ready to fight. Vader tells Goldust that the last time he saw him, he hit him with a ball peen hammer, and that there's nothing wrong with him or his hand. He tells Goldust to get out of the chair or he will make a permanent part of it. Vader punches Goldust, but the nurse squirts the alcohol into his eyes before taking off the scrubs and mask to reveal her true identity - Luna Vachon, who hasn't been seen in the WWF since 1995. Goldust gets out of the chair to attack Vader, revealing he had faked his injuries all along. Luna announces she is back as we see that Vader is still blinded.

We see a short video package of WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaugher, covering his career and the recent events that have led up to the match between him and "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley at In Your House: D-Generation X. Michael Cole then interviews Slaughter on the stage. Slaughter says that it is not Helmsley and "The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels' attack on him that caused the match, but it was the personal attacks that did. He says that he will get back in the ring and fight, and Triple H will be fighting Sgt. Slaughter, not "Commissioner Slaughter," as the sports coat comes off, the fatigues come back on, the boots will be laced back up, the Slaughter Cannon will be locked and loaded, and the Cobra Clutch will be ready. He tells Triple H since he is the Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation, not only will he be facing him on December 7th, he will make it "Slaughter Rules" and declares the match a Boot Camp Match. He asks Triple H to ask himself if he has ever smelled napalm in the morning, dug a foxhole, been pinned down in an ambush on Christmas Eve, or felt the cold steel of a bayonet inside in his guts, seen his fellow soldier blown up by a minefield, played Russian Roulette, awarded the Purple Heart, watched anyone die, or killed anybody with his bare hands. He tells Triple H December 7th will be a day of infamy for him, and that he might be dismissed...permanently.

"Too Sexy" Brian Christopher beats Flash Flanagan to continue to the semi-finals of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship tournament. Jerry "The King" Lawler punches Flanagan out of the ring after the match.

The door of the white limousine is opened...

A new intro is played to signal the start of War Zone.

D-Generation X ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna) show up. Triple H tells WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaugher he can do whatever he wants, but the same shtick he came out with earlier is what he grew up with, and it scares him now as much as it did back then - not at all. He pledges to finish Slaughter off once and for all at In Your House: D-Generation X. He also says that he has heard that Sgt. Slaughter is supposedly some sort of Fort Bragg legend, then says that while all the G.I. Janes are pretending to be soldiers, their old ladies will be back here standing at attention for the sergeant with the purple helmet, keeping in tradition with last week's penis jokes. Shawn then says it's time to put it all aside and get the facts as the controversy comes to an end, and introduces Bret "The Hit Man" Hart to the ring. Bret's music hits, then a little person dressed like Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and wearing a Bret Hart mask shows up and gets in the ring. D-Generation X has a laugh at what's going on. Triple H then makes fun of Shawn and Bret's match at Survivor Series, and as the little person in the mask taps to the Sharpshooter, he says that Shawn is the man, the icon, the showstopper, the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. He then calls D-Generation X the most powerful force in wrestling today. Triple H places a plastic decal on the butt of the little person that says "WCW" before playfully kicking him in the butt and saying "There you go! Right where you belong!" Suddenly, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, stating that he is The Hart Foundation. After hiding behind sunglasses for 15 years, he can see things clearly and calls D-Generation X degenerates. He states that he is married to a Hart, and threatens to kick their butts. Shawn says there's nothing standing between them but air and opportunity, and offers Jim the opportunity that Bret Hart never gave him. Ten years ago, when Shawn walked into the WWF, Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart were The Hart Foundation and the greatest tag team going then. He says Neidhart had the knowledge, the experience, the charisma and personality that Bret never had, and that he hasn't gotten much in the way of thanks from Bret or his family. With Bret at home, The British Bulldog having minor knee surgery, and Owen Hart being at home mentally distraught from what happened to Bret, Neidhart is standing alone and is here only because he has a family to feed and looking for opportunity. Shawn gives Neidhart an opportunity to join DX, and gives him until the end of the show to decide whether or not he should join.

It is announced that "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels will take on Vader in a non-title match later tonight as per WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter.

We see footage of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin going out to eat with Survivor Series Super Supper Sweepstakes Jacqueline Brooks and some of her friends.

It is announced that a four-round Toughman fight between "Butterbean" Eric Esch and Marc Mero will take place at In Your House: D-Generation X.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock beats Savio Vega with the ankle lock. During the match, Miguel Perez shows up as Savio Vega has the referee distracted and gets some cheap shots on Shamrock. He tries to stop Shamrock from locking in the ankle lock, but Shamrock sees him coming and knocks him out of the ring as soon as he gets in it. Perez confronts Shamrock after the match, but a referee holds both men back.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up in a black Austin 3:16 pick-up truck...

Michael Cole interviews The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) in the ring. "The Rock" takes the microphone, saying a jabroni shouldn't be asking him questions when he has all the answers. He says that he is the real Intercontinental Championship and "the best damn Intercontinental champ there ever was." At In Your House: D-Generation X, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin wants a knock-down, drag-out fight, which he has no problem, but he is fighting on his own terms and calling all the shots on that. The words "Rocky Sucks" show up on the TitanTron as red strobe lights spin around on the stage, saying that Austin wants to call him a jackass when it's obvious who the real jackass is. The arena lights dim in and out, and Rocky Maivia tells the rest of the Nation to "fix that incompetence." Suddenly, Austin shows up on the TitanTron, in the control room pressing buttons and twisting knobs. He tells Rocky that when he looks down at his beeper at the airport and it reads "316," he will know that his ass belongs to him. He tells the producer to wear a Stone Cold hat, then we see Austin behind Maivia. The TitanTron reverts to what's going bac on, and Rocky's beeper goes off. It is implied that Rocky sees the numbers "316" on it and Austin then attacks Rocky from behind. Austin runs out of the ring, grabs a steel chair, then charges at The Nation as soon as they get in the ring. The Nation retreats to the back, and Austin tells Rocky to take the belt and enjoy his Thanksgiving, then gives him "a little bird to enjoy right now" and flips him off.

Before the next match, Jeff Jarrett says he was born ready, but he has been re-reading his contract and mentions certain stipulations in his contract aren't being met, as he is not in a plush locker room and his meals are far from catered. He will not perform unless Vince McMahon performs. He also complains about his choice of opponent, saying nobody wants to see him wrestle Crush (who he calls "Chainz"). Jarrett tells Vince that if he wants to see him in the ring, he had better re-read the contract and live up to his end of the bargain. Crush beats Jeff Jarrett by forfeit, then Kane and Paul Bearer show up. Crush easily falls victim to the choke slam and the Tombstone Piledriver, and the rest of The Disciples of Apocalypse (Skull, 8-Ball, Chainz) show up. Referees and officials try to hold them back, and Kane choke slams Gerald Brisco.

Before the next match, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels introduces Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart as the newest member of D-Generation X (Shawn, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna).

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beats Vader after Chyna distracts the referee to allow "Triple H" Hunter Helmsley to toss hot coffee into Vader's non-bandaged eye and hold him down from the apron to allow Shawn to hit Sweet Chin Music for the win. After the match, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart celebrates with Shawn and Triple H, then Chyna hits Neidhart with a low blow before Shawn and Triple H attack and double-cross him. After a Sweet Chin Music to Neidhart, Triple H punches out the referee, then the attack on Neidhart continues. Shawn says he is the man, the icon and the showstopper and that DX rules the wrestling world. Shawn and Triple H continue to attack Neidhart, then the show ends.

During the match, Disco Inferno fights Raven's Flock (Raven, Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman, Sick Boy, Van Hammer and an unknwon member) outside of the ring, hitting Kidman and the new guy with a Chartbuster. He tries to do the same to Van Hammer, but he grabs onto the guardrail to keep him from doing it.

(The names in question are Barry Darsow, originally known as Ax of Demolition and Repo Man, and Louie Spicolli.) He then interviews The Giant, who now sports a cast on his right hand and wrist after what happened to him last week. He can't put someone in the choke slam, but that doesn't mean he can't toss someone over the top rope and says that the match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship is his spot. He is absolutely furious and wants to go after Scott Hall for what he did to his hand on Nitro last week.

When asked why Raven has not signed yet, Dillon says he wishes he could come up with a reason.

Raven beats Scotty Riggs by count-out after Raven lays him out with three Evenflow DDTs. Before the end of the match, Raven confronts Riggs for not joining him, saying he did not want to hurt him and asks why he did not listen to him, and says that he feels his pain after saying that this hurt him more than this hurt Riggs. The rest of Raven's Flock (Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman, Sick Boy, Van Hammer, the unknown member) all enter the ring, and before Riggs can get medical attention, Van Hammer picks Riggs up and carries him through the crowd.

Before the next match, Steve "Mongo" McMichael shows up with a lead pipe, and says we won't see the match we thought we would see, as what's good for the goose is what's good for the gander, and he has learned some new tricks. We then see Goldberg knocked out, face down on the floor backstage, having been knocked out with the lead pipe by Mongo. We also notice that Mongo has his Super Bowl ring on his finger again. Mongo then issues an open challenge to anyone who wants to take him on. Alex Wright and Debra McMichael answer, but Alex Wright is reluctant and is dragged to the ring by Debra.

Steve "Mongo" McMichael beats Alex Wright.

Perry Saturn tells Disco Inferno that he is willing to do anything to keep the WCW World Television Championship and asks Disco what he is willing to do to take it in an interview for WCWWrestling.com. He then leaves.

The 13-VHS WrestleMania box set featuring all thirteen WrestleMania events is available now for $79.99 plus $11 shipping and handling!

The Disciples of Apocalypse (Crush, Chainz, Skull, 8-Ball) beat Los Boricuas (Savio Vega, Miguel Perez, Jesus Castillo, Jose Estrada Jr.) as the eight-man tag match gets out of control.

At the December 29th Raw at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York: Vader, Dude Love, The Undertaker and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia)!

D'Lo Brown beats Flash Funk. During the match, Rocky Maivia distracts referee Earl Hebner as well as Flash Funk, allowing D'Lo Brown to hit an Electric Chair slam from the top rope. D'Lo goes up top, but Flash Funk trips on the top rope. D'Lo fights Flash Funk off the top rope, then hits the Lo Down for the win.

Shocking rumors about Goldust's new love interest are available on The Ross Report on Option 3 of the WWF Superstar Line!

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock is interviewed in the ring by Jim Ross. Shamrock says that he has fought all his life, and he earned all his respect through fighting. All he ever asked for was respect, and he got it through blood, sweat and tears. As far as "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels is concerned, he has no respect for anybody or anything. When he steps in the ring with Shawn on December 7th, he will learn the word "respect" the Ken Shamrock way. He is not Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, but he will hurt him before putting him in a submission hold and making him cry like a baby.

The Truth Commission (The Jackyl and The Interrogator) beat Dan Dalton and Donny Rude. The Interrogator takes care of their opponents while The Jackyl guests on commentary for the match, then The Jackyl goes for the double pinfall.

"Too Sexy" Brian Christopher beats Devon Storm in a Light Heavyweight Division match.

Sunny beats George and Adam (represented by just George, as Adam is busy with their victory part) to advance to the semi-finals of the 1997 Holiday Karate Fighters Tournament.

The WWF Triple Threat Action Figure Set featuring Yokozuna (who has not been seen in the WWF for more than a year) is available now at KB Toys from Jakks Pacific.

We see exclusive footage from last week's event at Madison Square Garden. (Miguel Perez is replaced by Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart with George "The Animal" Steele appearing afterwards, Chyna faces The Brooklyn Brawler and Triple H replaces the recently departed Bret "The Hit Man" Hart in the Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWF Championship.)

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for November 17, 1997

The New World Order, minus "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, shows up to start the show. Scott Hall sends a shout-out, who is sitting back at home, and says that all is well within the nWo. Hall then calls out "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko, and tells him that he, Kevin Nash and Eric Bischoff watched old tapes of him and that even on fast-forward, he still didn't move. Hall then says Zbyszko doesn't want a piece of him and that he can't beat Bischoff. Kevin Nash says the nWo has an agenda, and tells The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) that they haven't beaten them and that The Outsiders (Hall and Nash) are the true tag team champions. He also tells The Giant that he can keep his spot as the one true giant in WCW as he's too busy being 6'10", sexy and just two sweet. Bischoff says that the nWo had so much fun with surprises last week that they have a new one this week: "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan himself. Hogan then brings out "Ravishing" Rick Rude, who is still in WWF as part of D-Generation X ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna, Rude), now no longer sporting his full beard. Rude says "Oh, what a difference a day makes!" and talks about the rights and the wrongs of professional wrestling. He says it is wrong that that Shawn claims to be a world champion when he never beat Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and that Vince McMahon instructed a referee to ring the bell to rob Bret of the WWF Championship. On the other hand, he calls Bret abandoning "the Titanic" and swam to the refuge of the nWo, and nWo's course to destroy WCW and beat up the man called Sting what's right with wrestling, and regrets not being able to take part in last week's beating on Sting. He tells Sting that the second verse will be the same as the first, a whole lot rowdier and a whole lot worse, as he will participate. Hogan then asks the fans what it's like to be him, and says that spring has sprung and Sting has been stung before proclaiming that his blood runs through the nWo's veins and vice versa and all they had to do was watch him put Sting in their place to realize that he will live forever. Hogan says that Sting won't show up, as Sting will never be seen in WCW and nWo will rule for eternity. (Rick Rude shows up during the second hour of WWF Raw sporting a full beard. This is significant as it proves that Nitro was really broadcast live and that Raw was taped; tonight's episode of Raw was taped six days earlier. Rick Rude also appeared over the weekend on ECW Hardcore TV as well.)

We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Ray Traylor. He says he does not want any help or sympathy, saying that he turned his back on WCW to join the nWo but did not like the person he had become. Every time the nWo attack him from behind to hurt it, it shows what cowards they are. As he challenges anyone to face him anywhere, any time, he is suddenly jumped from behind by The New World Order. Even "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan joins in on the attack, smacking Traylor in the back with his belt, and Savage spray paints the letters "NWO" on Traylor's back.

Meng beats Glacier by pinfall with the Tongan Death Grip. After the match, Meng and The Barbarian, the latter having been called out by Jimmy Hart, attack Glacier, but "The Cat" Ernest Miller makes the save and fights off all three men only to fall victim to the Tongan Death Grip as well.

Diamond Dallas Page says he doesn't know Bret "the Hit Man' Hart on a professional level, but he knows Bret Hart as a wrestler. He doesn't get why Bret "The Hit Man" Hart would join The New World Order, especially when he know how bad Bret wants it each and every night in the ring.

This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Disco Inferno! Harlem Heat! The Giant! Rey Mysterio Jr.!

Alex Wright beats Steve "Mongo" McMichael by disqualification when Mongo violently pushes the referee while stomping Wright in the corner after being aggravated by Debra McMichael. During the match, it is announced that Mongo will face Goldberg one-on-one at World War 3.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Chris Jericho after escaping the last powerbomb in a triple powerbomb attempt and hits a hurricanrana for the win. Both men show respect after the match (though it is not shown as the replay for the match plays right over it).

"The Crippler" Chris benoit says Bret is a great role model recognized by everyone, and says it is a shame that Bret would affiliate himself in any way with the nWo.

Eric Bischoff gets "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko's attention on the commentary table, and tells him he is sick and tired of hearing the commentary team talk about the New World Order. Bischoff walks away after , then walks back and smacks him in the head. Zbyszko confronts Bischoff, but is attacked by Konnan, Buff Bagwell, Scott Norton and Vincent. A fan tries to attack Bischoff from behind, but he gets attacked as well and is detained by WCW security. Bischoff kicks Zbyszko in the gut a few times while the other nWo members hold Zbyszko down. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan shows up on commentary early, replacing Zbyszko on commentary while a trainer tends to Zbyszko.

Diamond Dallas Page beats Villano V. After the match, DDP knocks Villano IV off the top rope and hits him with a Diamond Cutter as well before leaving through the crowd.

Dean Malenko vs. Eddie Guerrero ends n a double count-out when both men are unable to get up after a ten-count following a top rope back suplex by Dean Malenko. Eddie Guerrero retains . Rey Mysterio Jr. briefly watches the match from the entrance ramp midway through the match, as he faces the winner of this match this Sunday at World War 3 for the Cruiserweight title.
Lex Luger has mixed reactions about Bret "The Hit Man" Hart joining The New World Order, saying he has known Bret for years from travelling down the road together and has mutual respect for him. If it is true, it is hard to believe, but he is very disappointed.

Jamie Brandenberg of Georgetown University of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity in Georgetown, Kentucky is the winner of this week's Nitro Prize Pack, and we see the videotape of his Nitro party.

Perry Saturb beats Scotty Riggs with The Rings of Saturn. Raven's Flock (Raven, Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman, Sick Boy, Van Hammer) is seen in the front row before the next match, in which Saturn participates. Kidman grabs a microphone after he and Raven jump the guardrail alongside Saturn, and says he is authorized by Raven to give Riggs one more chance to join Raven so he can set him free. During the match, Riggs' eyepatch and bandage around his right eye both fall off, and we see how glassy and fogged out that eye is before he hits Raven's Flock with a top rope cross body to the outside and into the front row. Raven's Flock attacks Riggs after the match, then Raven moves his men away and kneels over Riggs.

We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

The Steiner Brothers (Ric and Scott Steiner) and Ted DiBiase are all attacked by The New World Order, putting an end to the match between the Steiners and Vicious and Delicious (Scott Norton and Buff Bagwell) before it can even take place. "Macho Man' Randy Savage spray paints the letters "NWO" on Scott Steiner's back. Before this, it is announced that "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko has been taken from the arena to a local hospital for further observation.

Lex Luger beats Curt Hennig by disqualification after pushing the referee into Luger and hits him in the skull with the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. Curt Hennig retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship, and runs away when The Giant heads into the ring to save Luger. During the match, it is announced that The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and Ted DiBiase are not seriously hurt after what happened earlier, and that The Steiner Brothers will be able to compete again soon at World War 3.

Before the next match, Kevin Nash guests on commentary after heading to the commentary table, scaring away Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

The Giant beats Scott Hall by disqualification after Scott Hall injures The Giant's right hand in an attempt to stop the choke slam and the rest of The New World Order attack The Giant before he can hit Scott Hall with a choke slam. The entire WCW locker room rushes into the ring and fights back against the nWo to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 17, 1997

After the cameras stopped rolling last week during "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock vs. "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter fights back against Triple H and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, shoving both Triple H and Shawn. Shamrock puts Shawn in a schoolboy pin while Sgt. Slaugher counts the pinfall. Despite Triple H being his opponent and not Shawn, Shamrock gets the win, albeit unofficially.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up and takes the microphone from ring announcer Tony Chimel. He says that Vince McMahon has metnioned that anything can happen in the WWF, and he asks the crowd to give him a "Hell Yeah" if they want to see Rocky Maivia get his ass whipped. He says Maivia makes challenges like he's something special, and tells him that if he thinks he's something special and can beat the hell out of him, he tells him to show up and bring whoever he wants with him as he has something for him. The whole Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) shows up, and Rocky has the rest of The Nation approach the ring instead. Austin fights off D'Lo Brown in the ring, and Maivia steals the WWF Intercontinental Championship while Faarooq and Kama Mustafa get D'Lo Brown out of there. After The Nation of Domination leave, Austin takes Jim Ross's headset off of his head and tells him he'll get the belt back tomorrow at the airport when Maivia goes through security, as he won't be safe anywhere. He leaves, then comes back and tells Jim Ross that he's not going anywhere, as he's going to be in the building for the entire show and that Maivia will get his payback.

"Butterbean" Eric Esch is in the front row once again.

Before the next match, Sable waves at "Butterbean" Eric Esch, and Butterbean is confronted once again by Marc Mero. After the match begins, "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher shows up and stands in Jerry "The King" Lawler's corner before guesting on commentary.

Jery "The King" Lawler beats Marc Mero by disqualification when Lawler takes advantage of a distraction by "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher trying to get Sable's phone number by getting a cheap shot on Mero and hitting him with a piledriver. When Lawler goes for the pin, Sable gets in the ring and chokes out Lawler with her whip, and as she is in the ring, her sunglasses come off. As Sable has the ref distracted, Mero hits Lawler with a low blow before hitting him with the TKO, and as Mero confronts Sable for getting him disqualified, we find out that Sable is wearing her sunglasses to cover up a black eye.

The WWF Attitude vignette is replayed, with all footage of Bret "The Hit Man" Hart redacted.

We see part one of Jim Ross's interview with Vince McMahon, subtitled "Why Bret Why?: The Untold Story." Vince says everyone, including Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, would say he "screwed" Bret Hart. He believes that "Bret Hart screwed Bret Hart," and that Bret can look in the mirror and know that. Vince says he has no problems taking accountability for his actions, especially this one, and hopes that he makes more good decision than he does bad ones. Vince says that when someone is leaving, they show the right amount of respect to the other Superstars and the company who made them, and that this is a time-honored tradition that Bret did not want to honor. Vince says this is a surprising action coming from Bret, and that this was Bret's decision. Bret's 20-year contract with the WWF signed in 1996 is brought up. Vince says that Bret's departure is a joint decision, exacerbated by recent events, and that the two of them orchestrated the opportunity for WCW to "steal" Bret. Vince felt that, for business and financial reasons, that Bret's salary was not justified and that Bret felt that he was second banana to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels in his own mind, and that the two of them would work out something to both of their best interests: a 3-year deal in which Bret is paid $3 million a year - the richest deal in all of professional wrestling, assuming Bret is working 125 days a year. Vince decides that if Bret was not a great investment for the WWF - although he didn't want him to go - the least he could do is help Bret help himself, and tells Bret that if he took the WCW deal, he would be the first to congratulate him, which he was and did. Vince re-iterates that he did not want to see Bret leave the WWF. It is mentioned that Bret stayed in the ring after Survivor Series, then spit in Vince's face and destroyed television equipment. Vince says he was disappointed in Bret when he hit him, as he sustained a concussion and vision problems from the attack, and while it wasn't the right thing to do, Bret apparently is proud of striking Vince. He says it is not a question of confrontation, as even at 52 years old, things would have been a little different if there had been a confrontation. Vince then says that he allowed Bret to strike him, hoping that he wouldn't and hoping that they would sit down and try to work things out as gentlemen. When asked if he would press charges or pursue legal remedies, Vince says he has only considered it and that it is all up to Bret. When Vince is asked how he would have wanted to write Bret's final chapter in the WWE, Vince says he hoped that Bret's story would be a dramatic story, and hoped that Bret's story would be one that gave him dignity and poise to claim that he was maybe the greatest WWF Superstar ever in terms of his departure. Vince says that one way of giving back to those who helped him get to where he was in the end might have been, for argument's sake, would have to accept being pinned, then stand straight up and show the whole world what a true champion he really was After that, he would have congratulated "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels before asking the whole locker room to watch his match and tell them this is how it should be done as he went out the way a true championship should go out. Vince then goes on to say that he has no sympathy for Bret, and that he has no sympathy for someone who is supposed to be a wrestling traditionalist not doing the right thing for the company and fans who made him what he is to day. Vince says Bret made a selfish decision, that Bret screwed Bret and that he has no sympathy for Bret.

Before the match, it is announced that Los Boricuas' (Savio Vega and Miguel Perez) locker room was vandalized, with ring gear and clothes missing. Los Boricuas' music plays again, but this time it is "Road Dog" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn dressed up like Los Boricuas as they mock them. Savio Vega and Miguel Perez immediately realizes that Road Dog and Billy Gunn vandalized their locker room and immediately go after them, starting their tag team match early. The match ends as quickly as it begins when Jose Castillo and Jesus Estrada Jr. show up and attack Road Dog and Billy Gunn.

We see a video package of "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock.

Sunny is guest referee for the next match.

El Torito, Tarantula and Battalion vs. Max Mini, Mini Nova and Mini Taurus end when Paul Bearer and Kane show up. All six participants, including guest referee Sunny, hide behind the commentary table, and Battalion grabs Jim Cornette's tennis racket in case he has to defend himself. As Kane looks at the commentary table, The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) attack Kane from behind with their boombox, but even a boombox shot to the head that is powerful enough to shatter the boombox isn't enough to knock Kane down, and both Thrasher and Mosh fall victim to the Tombstone Piledriver.

The introduction to the show is replayed to signify the start of War Zone.

"Ravishing" Rick Rude starts the second hour (with a full beard, one hour after appearing on WCW Monday Nitro without one to reveal he is the newest member of The New World Order) by introducing D-Generation X ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna, Rude). Shawn tells "The WOrld's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock that what he did last week only happened thanks to WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter, and if Shamrock wants some of him and wants some respect from D-Generation X, then he has news for him as D-Generation X respects absolutely nobody. When told that he should be careful about mention Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, he says that he ran Bret out of the WWF and beat every member of his family, and that there is only one more thing for him to do: beat the crap out of his friends, and if one of them happens to be Ken Shamrock, he'll beat Ken Shamrock up. Triple H, who now has his hair all the way down at this point, calls out Sgt. Slaughter, who shows up. Triple H asks Slaugher who he thinks he is, and says that D-Generation X makes the rules in the ring, not Slaughter, and that if he sticks his nose - or chin - in DX's business, it will be the last thing he does. Triple H then says that he's heard Sgt. Slaughter's wife isn't too thrilled about Slaughter's own privates, and that he has a problem "going past half mast." Triple H warns Slaughter not to stick his nose in their business or else he'll show his wife his "lance corporal" and show her what standing at attention is all about. Slaughter slaps Triple H, not impressed at all with the military weiner jokes, then Rick Rude tosses the steel Halliburton briefcase to Shawn so he can hit Slaughter in the back with it. Chyna rips off Slaughter's shirt and punches him in the face before Triple H hits Slaughter in the head with the briefcase. Triple H then leaves Slaughter lying with the Pedigree. Rick Rude then pull rolls of toilet paper, place a toilet paper "X" on top of Slaughter, then toss the rolls of toilet paper into the crowd like streamers. Referees and officials show up, but they don't even do anything as DX celebrates their actions and continue to mock Slaughter. (Rick Rude's appearance on the second hour of Raw after appearing on the first hour of Nitro is significant, as it proved that Nitro really was broadcast live, while Raw was taped; this episode in particular was taped six days earlier. Meanwhile, Rude had also appeared on ECW Hardcore TV over the weekend, making Rick Rude the only man to be in all of the "big three" promotions at one time.)

Scott Taylor beats Eric Shelley to continue to the semi-finals of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship tournament. Jef Jarrett announces via telephone during the match that next week, he will make his in-ring wrestling debut. He says that Vince has promised that he will shine the spotlight briglhtly on his and that he will have a chance to prove he is the greatest wrestling talent walking on the earth today. He promises that he will not let anyone down and prove that he is the greatest wrestler.

After the previous match, Marc Mero and Sable - the latter now wearing her sunglasses again - show up, and tells Jim Ross to interview him in the ring. Marc Mero says his woman - his property - has been stalked and that WWF has done nothing to help him. He says that "Butterbean" Eric Esch has been stalking her, and tells him not to wave or even look at her, saying that she is just like the rest of the fans who are chanting for Sable and wants to hurt him. He says that he is a boxer - a five-time New York state Golden Glove champion - and that Butterbean isn't and that Butterbean can't even beat anybody, much less himself. Butterbean jumps the guardrail along with his manager, then Butterbean confronts Mero, who tells him not to even enter an arena again before calling him a fatass. Mero shoves Butterbean, then Butterbean shoves back to greater results. Butterbean's manager tries to stop a physical confrontation, and referees have to show up to separate both men.

We see part two of Jim Ross's interview with Vince McMahon, subtitled "Why Bret Why?: The Untold Story." When asked if he would welcome Bret "The Hit Man" Hart to return to the World Wrestling Federation after all he did, McMahon says that the professional wrestling business is a strange one, and says he would but also would want to hear Bret apologize to him, and that he would tell Bret "no more free shots" and that there would be no problem with the two of them having problems behind the scenes. He also says that if Bret tore up his contract with "the other guys" right now, he would welcome him back under those conditions. Vince acknowledges the signs in the crowd saying that Bret sold out and that Bret was sensitive to that notion, saying that Bret did sell out and that he helped him do it. He says that Bret jumped ship to World Championship Wrestling for the money, and that Bret loses credibility every time he says he didn't. When asked if the deal with Bret affected him personally or financially, Vince says that from a business perspective, the WWF will go on without Bret, but it has affected him personally as you can't simply end a 14-year relationship without having feels and regrets being forced into making the decisions he had to make. He also regrets the decisions that Bret made, and also regrets the Bret Hart fans who are hurt in any way by this. He regrets that Bret's family has to endure what Bret is going through, and that his own son had to witness some of what happened in the locker room. He regrets all that happen, but remains steadfast that he made a tough decision that was the best decision for both the WWF and the fans. If he had an opportunity to speak with Bret, he would tell him he made a mistake that he will regret from a professional standpoint that he didn't have to make, and that he had to do what he had to do for both the fans and the company. Vince says he is unwavering in his point of view, and feels Bret feels the same way about his. He doesn't know if they'll ever get together again, and says it's too bad that a 14-year relationship was destroyed because one member of that relationship forgot that we're in the sports entertainment business and forgot where he came from. Vince says he is over this now, and at the same time, Bret has been such a part of the WWF and always will be, and he will remember the good times and what Bret did to the greatest degree, and remember Bret as "The Excellent of Execution," but says it's too bad that Bret wasn't the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be, as he had the opportunity to prove that in his last match in the WWF and failed.

Before the next match, it is announced that Vince McMahon will be live on America On-Line at 11 PM Eastern (Keyword: WWF) to address fans' questions. Goldust then shows up in leggings, black-and-gold checkerboard face paint with some parts in red, a white pajama top, black pantyhose and gold house slippers, accompanied by WWF official Gerald Brisco as his left arm is in a blue sling. Goldust grabs a microphone and says he is an invalid, broken and crippled, and that the doctor hasn't given him clearance to wrestle. Vader says the whole world knows he's not hurt, and that he doesn't care what his doctor's note says. He reads the note, and asks Gerald if he's going along with this before balling it up and tossing it away. Suddenly, Goldust pulls a hammer out of his sling and strikes Vader in the head with it, knocking him down before heading to the back.

We see a "WWF Attitude" vignette of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter gets in the ring and says that a few months ago, he accepted the position as Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation. He knew it wasn't an easy task, but he cast aside being the Army sergeant that he is most famous for being and put on a sports coat and walked into the battlefields of the WWF with nothing more than a rule book. He knows the fans cheered the decisions they liked and the booed the ones they don't, and says that the commentary table said he was drunk with power, but he did his job and did it well. He tells D-Generation X - especially Triple H - that they crossed a line and made it personal between them. He can call them names back all day if they want, but at In Your House: D-Generation X, he orders Triple H to get in the ring with him, announcing that he is taking off the sports coat, spitting in his face, lacing up the combat boots and seeing who the better man is. He's not saying he's winning or losing, but he is giving Triple H the fight of his life, and in a sort of Pearl Harbor reference, tells Triple H that December 7th will live with him forever in infamy.

Before the next match, Rocky Maivia shows up with the rest of The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa) says that his match is a non-title match (even though he is not the Intercontinental Champion) and that he is not a thief as "The Rock" was the best Intercontinental champ there was. He says he is a world-class athlete, an intelligent man and better than the rest. He tells the fans that if they wanted "The Rock," then "The Rock" has answered their call.

Dude Love beats Rocky Maivia by disqualificaton after the rest of The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa) attack Dude Love after the Double Arm DDT. The Rock is about to use the Intercontinental Championship as a weapon when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows and fights The Nation along with Dude Love as Maivia flees. Maivia stands at the stage with the Intercontinental title to end the show.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for November 10, 1997

The New World Order arrive to start the show, flying Canadian flags. Eric Bischoff "re-debuts" "the real giant in this industry today," Kevin Nash, who shows up for the first time in weeks. Kevin is wheeled out in a wheelchair by Syxx and, like Scott hall did last week as well as right now, carries a WCW World Tag Team Championship belt around him. Nash mockingly says he feels like the luckiest guy in the world, and as he was sitting at home for the last four or five weeks listening to The Giant talk, there's nothing he'd like to do more - besides win Ben Stein's money - than give The Giant the beating of his life. He doesn't work for free, however, and if The Giant wants to go toe-to-toe with him, he'll have to do it on his terms: in the World War 3 match, which takes place this year in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Bischoff says that not only is Kevin Nash the luckiest man in the world, so is he, because he spends time with guys like "Hollywood' Hulk Hogan and spends a billionaire's money to surround himself with some of the most impressive men in the business today. He then announces that he has a special gift for Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, who is fresh out of the World Wrestling Federation: a nWo rendition of O Canada and the announcement that Bret Hart is the newest member of the New World Order.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund shows disappointment in The New World Order's announcement concerning Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and plus the WCW Hotline, saying there was alleged confrontation between Bret Hart and an opposing promoter, and this inside story is only available on the WCW Hotline.

Steven Regal and David Taylor get an upset win on Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray).

We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

Chris Jericho beats Disco Inferno with the Lion Tamer. During the match, Raven and his men, regularly referred to as "Raven's Flock" (Raven, Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman, Sick Boy) are seen heading to seats in the front row. After the match, Billy Kidman tosses water into Disco's face, and Disco tosses Kidman over the guardrail before pummeling him. Sick Boy then jumps the guardrail, almost slips on the ringside mat due to the water that was tossed at Disco and immediately goes to work on Disco. Scotty Riggs shows up and fights off both Kidman and Sick Boy, and it is noted that Scotty Riggs is wearing an eyepatch. Raven confronts Riggs, then almost immediately moves away, and the rest of Raven's men immediately leave Riggs alone upon seeing him.

This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Alex Wright! Glacier! Mortis!

Glacier beats The Barbarian. During the match, Jimmy Hart, who has not been seen on Nitro in weeks, shows back up in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee to much applause and stands in The Barbarian's corner. He distracts the referee long enough to ask for Glacier to knock him off the apron with a Cryonic Kick, but Glacier is able to beat The Barbarian nevertheless. After the match, Glacier is attacked from behind by Meng, who applies the Tongan Death Grip on Glacier.

Raven suddenly gets in the ring with his Flock (Perry Saturn, Billy Kidman, Sick Boy). Raven apologizes to Scotty Riggs for all the damage he did to his eye, saying it was an accident and that he feels his pain. He then tells those not intelligent, able-minded or coherent enough to understand the message he has given in the last few months, he tells them he had an abusive childhood where he was teased, taunted, tormented, picked on, bullied and beaten, but that was then and this is now. Now, all the freaks, misfits, mutants, the disenfranchised, the hopeless, the unwanted, the dregs of society have come forth from out of the shadows to stand beside him and help him gain his vengeance against those who treated him poorly. He says not to blame him, but to blame themselves as they made him what he is. All of a sudden, he is jonited by another man in a black mesh tanktop with holes in them, blue lipstick, blue eyeshadow, a nipple piercing and short blond hair shows up, and Mike Tenay somehow recognizes him as former WCW wrestler Van Hammer - or some guy who looks a lot like him - and it is obvious by his appearance that he is the newest member of Raven's Flock.

Yuji Nagata beats Alex Wright with the Nagata Lock. During the match, it is announced that Ultimo Dragon will face Yuji Nagata at World War 3, and if Ultimo Dragon wins, he gets five minutes in the ring with Sonny Onoo. Also, Sonny Onoo hands Debra McMichael some yen and kisses her only to get slapped. This is enough to distract Alex Wright, and Yuji Nagata is able to put Wright in the Nagata Lock. Despite confronting Sonny Onoo for kissing her, she keeps the money that Onoo placed in her hands.

Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.

Eric Bischoff and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan show up again, and this time they are not in a good mood. Bischoff is seen holding a piece of paper that somebody decided to slip into their locker room: a poster of a movie called The Real Reason Men Commit Crimes, which noticeably features Sting as one of the stars. Bischoff says the crime here is that Sting is trying to break into Hogan's industry, and that only Hogan deserves to be in Hollywood. Hogan says Sting is getting this "bogus movie" on the market because he is a "Hollywood wanna-be," and that his movie Assault On Devil Island will body slam Sting's movie just like he will body slam Sting at Starrcade. He says he isn't waiting until December, and calls Sting out, saying if he wants to be him so badly, then all he has to do is face him. Bischoff tries to egg Sting on and tell Sting to come get some, asking what the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia is, anyway. Bischoff says he and Hogan know Sting is in the building, and that Hogan wants Sting tonight. It is announced that The Real Reason Men Commit Crimes, starring Sting, debuts this Friday night at the historic Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia as part of the Peachtree Film Festival on Friday night at 8:30 PM local time.

If the Memphis, Tennessee doesn't believe he's number one, all they have to do is watch him dismantle Lex Luger in twenty minutes. He says that World War 3 will be more than a blowout, saying that Curt Hennig wants to be the greatest performer in the world. However, the countdown starts tonight as he plans to take Hennig apart as he is part of the New World Order. When Okerlund asks if he should expect a victory party after Flair wins the World War 3 match, Flair tells him they will have an all-night party with The Nitro Girls.

He asks that Sting be brought out to the ring, and Bischoff says that even he can't make Sting appear as Sting is more fear than anything else. Hogan gets his wish, as Sting - and not a man in a mask - rappels down from the rafters adnd heads to the ring. Sting throws the bat away and takes off the gloves, and when "Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up along with the rest of the nWo, Hogan nails Sting from behind, knocking Sting down and leaving him to the rest of the nWo, who gang up on Sting before holding him up so that Hogan can get a few shots in on him. The show ends with Eric Bischoff mocking what's going on as Hogan continues to hit Sting with leg drops.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 10, 1997

The show starts with D-Generation ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna, "Ravishing" Rick Rude) coming out to brand-new music, but only Rick Rude shows up. Rude tells all the "fat, out-of-shape Ottawa idiots" to shut their mouths, open their eyes and give their respect to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Shawn, Triple H and Chyna show up, and despite promising to do so last week, Shawn does not show up to the ring naked, with Jim Cornette saying that he has heard in the back that "the Canadians don't deserve it." It is also announced for the first time on WWF commentary as they show up that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart has left the World Wrestling Federation because of Shawn Michaels and that there will be more details later. Rude congratulates Shawn on a job well done at Survivor Series, and Shawn says that he wouldn't have it any other way as D-Generation X is now on top of the world. Shawn says that he considered coming out to the ring and being politically correct, but since somebody else drew first blood, he is now going to unload on everybody. He tells all the fans chanting "We want Bret" that he beat Bret in his home country and with his own finishing hold, and if they thought DX was hell to deal with before, they haven't seen anything yet. Shawn then states that the World Wrestling Federation was not big enough for him and Bret, and put him in the Sharpshooter and heard him give up, then ran him "down south with the rest of those dinosaurs," and that he has two friends there who are not dinosaurs who will beat the hell out of him one day, whether he likes it or not (a reference to Scott Hall and Kevin Nash). Shawn then says he is the only man on top who will ever be #1 and be an icon...not Bret, not "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, not "Macho Man" Randy Savage, as nobody has the will to be the best and he will outwill the rest of them as he has something they don't: god-given, pure, natural talent. He says he is willing to be a wrestling champion, and Rick Rude agrees with him, saying Shawn will never say "I quit." As Shawn says he will never beat up a 52-year-old man, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock shows up. Shawn tells Shamrock he gave him a wrestling lesson last week, and that he can't possibly want any more of him. He gives Shamrock the microphone and wants to see if he can put a sentence together. Shamrock initially tells Shawn "You aren't gonna give me shit!" then grabs the microphone and tells DX that are a disgrace to the human race, and tells Chyna to take a seat as he questions her gender. Triple H laughs, but Shamrock tells him that if he thinks that's funny, then he should wait until he gets a hold of him. He then immediately answers Shawn's challenge to take on anybody, anywhere, any time. He then tells Rick Rude that all he knows how to do is attack people from behind as he's an old man. He then focuses on Shawn's hair and chest, calling them both "sexy," then tells Shawn he's going to punch a hole in his sexy chest and that the rest of DX can't stop him. Shamrock then says he's got the microphone, and that he dictates when it's time to stop talking. Shawn then takes the microphone, says he makes the decision, and decides it's time for him to stop talking. He says Chyna (addressing her as "this woman") can knock him out any day of his life and that he should be lucky that Rick Rude doesn't knock him the hell out, then tells Shamrock that Triple H can beat him anywhere, any time. He doesn't blame Shamrock for thinking his hair and chest are sexy, then WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter shows up, then gives Slaughter the same directions as Shamrock, but tells him not to spit at him. Slaughter says "you have a WWF Championship match against Shamrock." tonight. Shawn tells Slaughter he beat a man who is a legend in his own, then goes back on his word and says he can't defend the title tonight, although he usually would. Slaughter tells Shawn's he not wrestling tonight; Triple H is. Triple H says he already has a match tonight, and he'd beat Shamrock's ass tonight, but he has other business to take care of. Slaughter tells Triple H that the match is against Shamrock anyway, and to ensure there is no interference, he will be at ringside and bars Rick Rude, Shawn and Chyna from ringside. It is then announced that the encore of Survivor Series is tomorrow night.

Ahmed Johnson beats Marc Mero by disqualification when Mero is caught by the referee hitting Ahmed with a low blow. Mero gets disqualified, but he hits Ahmed with the TKO anyway. After the match, "Butterbean" Eric Esch, boxer and winner of 18 professional fights, is seen in the crowd.

Sunny is guest ring announcer for the next match. "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher guests on commentary.

Taka Michinoku beats Devon Storm to continue to the semi-finals of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship Tournament. During the match, "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher distracts Michinoku only to be drop kicked off the apron. Nevertheless, Michinoku manages to hit the Michinoku Driver on Devon Storm. After the match, Michinoku immediately hits Cristopher with a top rope cross body to the outside of the ring, and Christopher immediately runs to the back. Michinoku will face Aguila in the semi-final round.

Jim Ross interviews Goldust in the ring. Goldust now has flames painted on the front of his hair and red lipstick on his lips as he walks into the ring with a cigar in his mouth much like Marlena. The words "I'm 1st" are in black on the back of his head, and he is now wearing big, white pearl earrings on his ears and a gold leisure suit. Goldust tells Jim Ross that he knows what his "fat ass old man" did to him, and got out of that - and out of his marriage, where he wasn't allowed to be himself - and while Marlena was gone, he found somebody who allowed him to express himself, which he says Marlena never allowed him to do. Goldust says he has a broken arm, and says he can't wrestle in his current condition when asked why he turned on Vader. Vader shows up, says nobody walks out on him. Vader tells Goldust he's known him for a decade that they have both fought alongside and against each other, and he knew what kind of a man Goldust was. He wants to know why Goldust turned on him. Goldust says he's an invalid and couldn't wrestle, but Vader tells Goldust that he told him he was ready before last night's match. Vader tells Goldust this will be straightened out one way or another, then punches Goldust in the gut and puts him in a powerbomb before walking out of the ring.

Michael Cole reports that Blackjack Bradshaw is raising hell in the locker room as Blackjack Windham is lying on the floor, and that he keeps mentioning "two jackasses."

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) bring out The Disciples of Apocalypse (Crush, Skull, 8-Ball, Chainz) to surround the ring for the next match, and The Jackyl guests on commentary.

The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Truth Commission (Recon and Sniper). During the match, The Jackyl gets on the apron, but The Headbangers immediately knock him off, and The Interrogator meets the same fate near the end of the match (though he is not knocked off his feet). After the match, both teams brawl, and The Disciples of Apocalypse (Crush, Skull, 8-Ball, Chainz) get involved. The D.O.A. and The Headbangers come out on top as referees try to restore order.

The introduction to the show is replayed to signal the start of War Zone.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is interviewed in the ring by Michael Cole. Austin isn't even concerned about paying back Owen Hart for breaking his neck, because the fact of the matter is that he's back and Intercontinental Champion after sitting at home for three months and drinking beer. When Michael Cole tells him that he might as well paint a bulls-eye on his forehead after winning the Intercontinental Championship, Austin tells him he might as well paint a bulls-eye on Cole's ass and kick him around the building. The Nation of Domination's (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) music hits, but only Rocky Maivia shows up. Maivia says that when he was the Intercontinental Champion, he was the best there was, and that come hell or high water, he will be wearing it again, and if Austin has enough manhood to accept his chalenge, then Austin's bottom line will read "has been, compliments of 'The Rock.'" Austin gives Maivia a couple of challenges in response: get a decent haircut and flush himself down the commode because he's a piece of crap. He accepts Maivia's challenge, then says Maivia doesn't suck because the fans said so; Maivia sucks because Stone Cold said so.

Before the next match, Jim Ross interviews Steve Blackman at ringside. Ross says Blackman put on quite a performance last night, and Blackman says he feels that he acquitted himself at Survivor Series. Jesus Castillo tells Blackman to get an interview some other time, and Blackman tells Castillo to get out of his face. This leads to Castillo, Jose Estrada Jr. and Miguel Perez to attack Blackman, but Blackman effectively fights them all off at once with his martial arts prowess.

Michael Cole interviews Road Dog "Jesse James" and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn backstage, and announces that Blackjack Windham is out with rib injuries, and asks them how they can accept the Bunkhouse Battle when it is now 2-on-1 and in their favor. Road Dogg says Windham was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and now Blackjack Bradshaw is "higher than a Georgia pine and twice as stupid." Road Dog and Billy Gunn then come to the ring, telling the crowd to get ready for carnage as the plan to get rid of both of The New Blackjacks (Blackjack Windham and Blackjack Bradshaw). Blackjack Bradsaw then comes to the ring and throws powder into Billy Gunn's face.

"Road Dog" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn beat Blackjack Bradshaw in a 2-on-1 Bunkhouse Brawl.

We finally see part two of the Jeff Jarrett interview. Jarrett asks Jim Ross where, in 1997, you can find a man who is 30 years old with 12 years of experience in the professional wrestling business with no steroids, no skeletons in the closet, and the star potential and looks that he has, and says that the WWF is getting him at a bargain. It has been Jarrett's lifelong and immediate goal to become the WWF Champion, and Vince McMahon will have the greatest, most respected champion that he's ever had. Jarrett says he's never beaten Bret "The Hit Man" Hart before, and says he wants to beat him, saying that he is superior to Bret in all aspects, saying Bret is "the best there was" and not much else. He says he will not be surprised if "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart at Survivor Series. Jim Ross then plays a game of word association with Jarrett. He says Bret is dedicated, says The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) has strength in numbers, says he has respect for Mick Foley, and calls "Macho Man" Randy Savage the hardest-working guy he has ever known. He says The Legion of Doom has raw ability, and says of Eric Bischoff "right time, right place, right wallet." As for "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, he says "charisma plus intelligence equals success." For Shawn Michaels, he calls him "a phenomenal athelete," calls Triple H "a tag-along" and says he doesn't know what to think of Chyna. As long as Shawn doesn't act juvenile around him or mess with him, he's not bothered by his behavior, saying that Shawn is frustrated at something and that this is how he is venting it, and that Shawn knows he can still be one of the best wrestlers out there today.

Michael Cole interviews professional boxer, 18-time Toughman Contest winner and IBWA Super Heavyweight Champion "Butterbean" Eric Esch and his trainer Art Dohr. As he mentions his fight on December 6th, he says he's here to train but also to watch Raw live as his friends watch it all the time, and says the crowd is wonderful and that he can't ask for a better night. Marc Mero shows up and tells Michael Cole that if he wants to interview a boxer, interview him. Marc Mero asks Butterbean who he's ever beaten, other than truck drivers and unemployed steel workers and "these lousy Canadians." He also tells Butterbean to even touch, look at or come near Sable, as he is a real boxed and the real star of the team, that he is a real boxer, and that Butterbean is a nobody he can knock out in four rounds or less before saying Butterbean is the Pillsbury doughboy and he is Superman. He warns Butterbean not to touch Sable again, and Butterbean almost jumps the guardrail as soon as he puts his hands on him. Butterbean is confused as to what happened, and Jim Ross apologizes on behalf of the WWF to Butterbean for Marc Mero's behavior.

The Undertaker vs. Kama Mustafa ends in a no-contest. Before the match, it is announced that the encore of Survivor Series is tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central throughout North America. During the match, Paul Bearer and Kane show up, and Bearer says it would be easy for Kane to get in the ring and bring 'Taker to his eternal damnation, but Kane really wants 'Taker to suffer like he did when he was in the fire. Bearer tells 'Taker that he must face Kane one-on-one, no interference, no excuses, so Kane can prove that he is superior. 'Taker tells Bearer to shut up before he rips his throat out, then tells Kane this is not the place and that Bearer is nothing but an infectious disease who has poisoned his mind. He tells Kane that somewhere behind the mask of evil is his little brother and that there is something good left in him, and asks him not to come to him as an enemy but as his brother, and to stand beside him as he will never fight him tonight or any other night, as Kane is flesh and blood - his flesh and blood - just like him, and if he has to go through the rest of the WWF, so be it. He tells Paul Bearer that he will pay for what he is doing, and Bearer says that all the agony he and Kane cause and all the souls they destroy will be 'Taker's fault, and for that, 'Taker will pay in the fires of Hell.

The show ends before "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock vs. Triple H can finish. Despite being barred from ringside at the top of the show, "Ravishing" Rick Rude shows up and watches the match from the entrance ramp midway through the match. He tries to interfere, but is stopped by WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter, as is Chyna when she tries to interfere as well. Triple H knocks out the referee, and Shamrock goes for the ankle lock submission. Rick Rude tosses the steel Halliburton briefcase to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, and Michaels smacks the briefcase into Shamrock's back. Triple H makes the pinfall after this, but the referee is pulled out of the ring as the show ends.

The Truth Commission (The Jackyl, Recon, Sniper, The Interrogator) beats The Disciples of Apocalypse (Crush, Skull, 8-Ball, Chainz) in a Traditional 4-on-4 Survivor Series Match with The Interrogator as the sole survivor. We see fan predictions of who will win between Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels.

Kevin Kelly interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in the AOL Room backstage as Austin chats with the fans on America On-Line. Austin says he is concerned about his neck, but he is living with it and moving on as he needs no sympathy from the fans.

It is announced that the identity of the fan who attacked Team Canada (Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, The British Bulldog, Doug Furnas, Phil LaFon) last week on Raw is a martial-arts expert named Steve Blackman, and that Vader bailed Blackman out of jail and asked WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter to allow Steve Blackman to replace The Patriot on Team USA (Vader, Blackman, Goldust, Marc Mero).

Michael Cole interviews Team USA (Goldust, Marc Mero, Steve Blackman, Vader). He says that he and his teammates don't have much in common except that they don't like big-mouthed Canadians trash-talking American telling them what to think, what to do and how to act. Steve Blackman says he may not be experience in wrestling, but he's experienced in everything else and a fight is a fight. During the interview, Goldust is seen spinning around, looking at nothing at particular with black face paint and the letters "F-U" in gold in the front (mentioned before the next match to mean "Forever Unchained" by Jim Ross) and the words "Alive Again" in black on the back of his head.

Michael Cole interviews Team Canada (Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, The British Bulldog, Doug Furnas, Phil LaFon). Bulldog says Team USA (Goldust, Marc Mero, Steve Blackman, Vader) is in the Canadian domain, saying that Team USA will be losers and that Team Canada will dominate. Furnas says he used to be proud to be an American, but after America started honoring drugs, crime, slime and now degenerates, he is proud no more. He talks about the "America: love it or leave it" mantra and says he left.

Team Canada (Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, The British Bulldog, Doug Furnas, Phil LaFon) beats Team USA (Goldust, Marc Mero, Steve Blackman, Vader) with The British Bulldog as the sole survivor. During the match, Marc Mero moves Sable away from his team's corner after the fans chant Sable's name. Steve Blackman is eliminated by count-out when he fights off all of Team Canada at once both inside and outside of the ring. Goldust, now no longer accompanied by Marlena, is eliminated by count-out after he turns his back on Vader and refuses to let Vader tag out, forcing Vader to slap him in the face, toss him in the match and force him to wrestle. Goldust responds by walking to the back. saying he has a broken hand (covered in a black cast with the word "Freedom" in gold painted on it). The British Bulldog gets the win after hitting Vader with the ring bell as both referees are preoccupied with Doug Furnas.

Jacqueline Cook of Columbia, South Carolina is the winner of the WWF Survivor Series Super Supper Sweepstakes. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be the one taking Jacqueline and her friends out to dinner in her hometown.

Mankind says he doesn't want his match with Kane to be remembered as a wrestling match because it won't be one. He is facing a brick wall, and instead of walking around or climbing over, he's going to launch himself into it. When it does not fall, he will do it over and over again. He may die trying, but he may not, and if the wall goes down, it's just him and Paul Bearer, and when he sticks his two fingers down his throat, he will ask Bearer if he looks like a pebble now.

Kane beats Mankind in his debut match. At one point, Kane sends Mankind off the apron and into the Spanish commentary table with one hand, breaking the table down and hurting Spanish commentator Tito Santana.

Shamrock says they're here to take care of business, saying he's got the tag team champions to back them up and that Ahmed knows survival. Hawk says there is a lot of criminal elements in the WWF, and says they are the sergeants-at-arms and that they they will start with The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia). He tells The Nation that when they get through with them, they'll be lying face down in a pool of their own blood, hoping they have a friend to turn them on their backs so they don't drown in it.

The team of "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Ahmed Johnson and The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) beat The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) in a Traditional 4-on-4 Survivor Series Match with Shamrock as the sole survivor after making Rocky Maivia submit to the ankle lock submission, despite being smacked in the back with a steel chair by Maivia after eliminating D'Lo Brown with the same move. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart to win the WWF Championship. Before the match can begin, Shawn and Bret go at it outside of the ring, and referee's officials, WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter and even Vince McMahon all have to restore order as the donnybrook goes in and out of the crowd. The match ends when "The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels puts Bret "The Hit Man" Hart in the Sharpshooter and the bell is called for before Bret even has a chance to submit or continue. Shawn makes a hasty exit, and the pay-per-view hastily ends four minutes early. (In reality, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is on the way out of the WWF due to a better deal from World Championship Wrestling and disappointment with storyline ideas being pitched to him, and this ends up being Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's last match in the WWF. The original idea was for Bret to win the WWF Championship and then peacefully vacate it the next night, but Vince changed plans without notifying Bret and had Shawn win it off Bret in his hometown instead. The events of the match eventually go down in history as "The Montreal Screwjob.")
