The Nation of Domination (D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) show up after the match and attack Shamrock, but The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) make the save.
It is announced that Goldust is barred from the arena tonight.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin says he does what he wants, when he wants. As for Owen Hart's "big surprise," he says there's no way he can hurt him any more than he already has and that payback is coming to him.
Taka Michinoku beats El Pantera in a Light Heavyweight Division match. It is announced that Scott Putski now has to have surgery after what happened at Ground Zero in his match against "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher.
The Truth Commission (The Commandant, Recon, Sniper, The Interrogator) says the WWF has seen fit to offer them some worthy opponents, and will prove to The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) the superiority of pure military discipline and show them that in war, second place doesn't count.
The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) beat The Truth Commission (Recon and Sniper) by disqualification after The Interrogator interferes. "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, now in better condition, makes the save, then The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) shows up and attacks Shamrock and The Legion. Officials and referees break up the massive brawl.
Sunny is special guest ring announcer for the next match, and Max Mini tries to get a peek underneath Sunny's dress.
Max Mini and Mr. Lucky beat El Torito and Piratita Morgan.
Dude Love is on the cover of the newest WWF Magazine available tomorrow.
Marlena is seen in a short black dress with slits at the sides at the bottom, black leggings and black heels. She also happens to have a gold arm band, a nose ring and dark red lipstick, a completely different look from her usual long gold dress.

Referees and officials pin Goldust down quickly. At one point in the match, Marlena tries to head to the back, but Brian Pillman catches her and takes her back to ringside.

"Jerry" The King Lawler interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in the ring. Lawler says the way Austin has been treated is a shame and laughs about the Stone Cold Stunner that Jim Ross received at Ground Zero and the Stunner he gave WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter last week, and he hopes that Vince McMahon gets a Stunner as well. Austin tells Jim Ross that he was at the wrong place and at the wrong time, and tells him to stay at commentary so it doesn't happen again. He also says that he won't be bossed around as he does what he wants when he wants, and nobody can stop him. He also says it's a good thing Vince isn't here, as he will dump him on his head. He also tells Owen Hart that he has hell to play, as he can take him right out with a snap of his fingers. As he says that The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog) has Hell to play, they show up. Bret says he has a name for people like him: hosers. He knows the WWF can't stop what Austin is doing every night, but they have had enough. He then brings out a lawyer who has showed up with the Foundation, and sends him to the ring to issue a temporary restraining order which keeps Austin from coming within 100 feet of Owen, and if he breaks the restraining order, he's going to jail. As Jerry "The King" Lawler looks over Austin's shoulder, Austin gives him the Stone Cold Stunner before kicking his crown out of the ring.
Jim Cornette replaces Jerry "The King" Lawler on commentary. Lawler is seen with a neck brace in the physician's room.
The Patriot beats Owen Hart. During he match, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up, but so do the police, and Austin heads to the back during the commercial break. Austin is then seen coming out of the crowd, distracting Owen and tearing up the restraining order to give The Patriot the opportunity to get Owen with a schoolboy for the win. Austin heads back into the crowd, and the police follow suit.
The police are seen looking for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin backstage.
Jim Ross interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels in the ring. Shawn says he has done everything that there is to do in the World Wrestling Federation except for one thing: be the European Champion. He decided to take it upon himself and be the first man in WWF history to ever hold all four titles. As for his Hell In A Cell Match against The Undertaker, desperate times call for desperate measures, and though he may be a desperate man, he feels the powers to be in the WWF are the cause of all this, saying he did a good job as a referee at SummerSlam, only to get placed in a match against The Undertaker. When he had a good match with The Undertaker, he was rewarded with a Hell In A Cell Match. As for whether or not it will be his demise, if he goes down, he's bringing everybody with him and he's going out in a blaze of glory. The Undertaker appears on the TitanTron behind a chain link fence, welcoming Shawn to his own personal hell. He says he can still taste the blood, and says there is no escape as two men enter and only he leaves with Shawn's soul. He says Shawn will pay dearly and that the match will be his final resting place. Shawn tells 'Taker he made him taste his blood once, and he will make him taste it again.

This past Saturday at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mosh of The Headbangers body slammed the Philly Phanatic before the game.
The British Bulldog and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart beat The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh)...almost. Bulldog gets the pin, but Thrasher was the legal man, not Mosh. Suddenly, The British Bulldog pulls an American flag away from a fan and rips the flag off the pole. The detached flag is used to choke out Mosh, but The Patriot and Vader show up and attack Hart and Bulldog to end the show.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for September 15, 1997
The first thing we see tonight is a picture of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the hospital after what happened at Fall Brawl. Tony Schiavone says he got into the business 15 years ago because of Ric Flair after announcing for Major League Baseball, and after Flair went to bat for him, he became a wrestling announcer. Tony gets choked up, and says he can't do the show. He takes his headset off and leaves. Mike Tenay gives credit where credit is due, and says that Kevin Nash may have been accurate when he announced the death of The Four Horsemen.
Despite having a bum knee, Dean Malenko beats Disco Inferno with the Texas Cloverleaf.
The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian) beat Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) with a Tongan Death Grip to Stevie Ray when a pinfall attempt by Stevie Ray on The Barbarian can't be counted as they are two close to the ropes. Raven is seen in the front row during the match.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page. Page says he has a disease that is eating him up inside, but what doesn't kill him makes him stronger and he's getting stronger everyday. That disease is "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and he's the cure. He wants to show the world that Savage is nothing more than a low-life coward, and says they should do it one more time at Halloween Havoc. He tells Savage to leave the Slim Jims as he'll give him something he can really snap into.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Ray Traylor, who is carrying a can of black spray paint. He says he was a member of The New World Order only in spirit in heart, and wants to know if any of them is man enough to face him one-on-one. He plans to make sure "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and anyone else associated with the nWo is put out of wrestling forever. He leaves, then throws the spray paint can down.
The Giant beats Konnan. Raven is seen in the front row once again. Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour, and "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko fills in for Tony Schiavone for that hour.

Diamond Dallas Page beats Stevie Richards. Raven, who has been seen in the front row, climbs the guardrail and enters the ring. Raven walks up to a downed Stevie Richards and slaps him in the face before kicking him out of the ring.
The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Mortis and Wrath.
Eric Bischoff shows up. He says it's great to be him, then brings out The New World Order. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and the gang show up, and Hogan grabs a sign saying "Hey McMahon...Bite Me" and shows it to the camera before he and the nWo head to the ring. Bischoff then brings out Curt Hennig, who comes out to "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's music and in a "Nature Boy" ring robe. Bischoff says that it is a privilege to have Hennig aboard. Hennig brags about infiltrating his way into The Four Horsemen and attacking them in War Games, and that he is proud to be part of the nWo. He then takes off the robe - which he presents to Hogan as a sign of respect - to reveal an nWo tank top underneath. Hogan says this day has been "exactly perfect." Bischoff then address "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who accepts Diamond Dallas Page's challenge from earlier tonight. Bischoff then mentions Piper and the match between Hogan and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Hogan says that "Rowdy" Roddy Piper is a liar, and the last time we saw Piper, Scott Hall beat him in the ring. He says that the cage match between him and Piper will end like War Games, as the nWo is in the business of putting "old fossils" like Piper to rest. Hogan then says everyone is here to see the nWo, and that the nWo is for life. He says to bring on the steel cage so he can put Piper to pasture, and he hopes that Sting is watching as he won't want a piece of him when he's done with Piper.

They have a doozy of a plan for War Games, and then play to retire the Horsemen.
Mortis and Weath beat The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian) after Mortis hits the Death Penalty on Meng, who has both Mortis and James Vandenberg in the Tongan Death Grip.

Benoit says it will be an honor to give the nWo a taste of reality and teach them what The Four Horsemen are about. Mongo tells the nWo they can run, but they can't hide, as the Horsemen will bring down the apocalypse on them tonight. Flair says if he ever thought about quitting when his back was against the wall, he would not be here tonight. He says Hennig paid the price for being a Horseman, but if they can put him together, he'll walk that aisle and profile. He says he has more heart, desire, soul and reality in his body than the nWo will ever know, and tonight, they will bleed and sweat, and the nWo will pay the price for life.

Lex Luger and Diamond Dallas Page beat Scott Hall and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. During the match, Scott Hall knocks out referee Mark Curtis in the other ring, and when referee Mickey Jay is also attacked by Hall, "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko leaves commentary and confronts Scott Hall. As Zbyszko teases getting into the ring with Hall, Lex Luger, who has been kicked into the gap between the two rings is there when Zbyszko finally gets in the ring and pushes Hall, who then tumbles over Luger. Zbyszko plays referee and gives Luger and Page the victory via a fast count.

Halloween Havoc is coming live to pay-per-view October 26th!

During the match, Curt Hennig, who is initially thought to be hurt, shows up with one of his arms in a sling. When he gets into the ring, he takes the sling off and reveals that he is not even hurt, then he attcks The Horsemen along with the nWo before he hands the nWo sets of handcuffs to cuff The Horsemen to the cage with. Mongo surrenders during the beatdown, and Hennig slams one of the cage doors on Flair's head as he is revealed to be yet another member of The New World Order.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for September 8, 1997
The show begins with a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Eric Bischoff shows and heads to the commentary table, and threatens to kick "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko from one side of the ring to the other and then sue him as Bischoff tells the producer to roll the clip of the nWo's parody of The Four Horsemen's promo from last week. The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Curt Hennig, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael) show up, shut the replay down, and call out the nWo at the commentary table before heading to the ring. "Mean" Gene Okerlund joins them shortly afterwards to interview them. Hennig dares the nWo to come out right now or later, while Mongo says that if this is the circus, the Horsemen are the ringleaders and they will make the nWo jump through hoops. Benoti says the Horsemen will outclass, outwrestle and beat them in the ring. Flair, now in a serious mood, says he's went up and down for the last 25 years, and for the first time ever, he was ashamed to tell anyone he was a professional wrestler as they showed one more time why there is nothing sacred in the sport of professional wrestling. He calls "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson a legitimate legend, human being and man, with emphasis on "man." He says WCW did something so huge by dedicating last week to Anderson that the whole world should have recognized that Anderson was a great performer every day of his career. As for the nWo, they would be lucky if they have one friend for life at the end of the road like he does in Anderson, and then says he wants The Wolfpack, and that he's not leaving until he gets them in the ring.
After the break, The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Curt Hennig, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael) and "Mean" Gene Okerlund are still in the ring. Flair makes good on his promise that the four of them will be in the ring until they get their match against The New World Order, but WCW security shows up and asks them to leave. Flair sends one more message to The Wolfpack (Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Syxx), saying he wants them in the ring. The Horsemen then ring.
Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Eddie Guerrero in his first match since his leg injury at the hands of Konnan.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page. He says the first thing he looked for the first time he put on tights and boots was respect, and he had to bust his chops and earn it to get it. He also says that Lex Luger earned it the same way he did. When they got together, however, they butted heads and they didn't click like people thought they would, and when words don't work, they may have to do it the other way: in the ring. Lex Luger shows up as DDP says he's all for any way they can get over the hump, and says he finds this as distasteful as he does, but at least they agree on something. He accepts the challenge on one condition: they do it right and neither of them hold back.

Hugh Morrus beats Disco Inferno after Alex Wright shows up and places the WCW World Television Championship on Disco Inferno only for Hugh Morrus to hit No Laughing Matter. Wright and Disco Inferno argue after the match.
Kevin Nash, Syxx, Konnan and Buff Bagwell show up. Syxx says "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is upset because they made fun of how stupid he really looks showing up on carrying on for the last 20 years. Nash says that emotions are running a little high right now, and there's nothing the nWo would love to do tonight than to take care of the Horsemen, but they're stars and they don't just do anything they're told to do as they're the ones making the rules around here and they're way too busy tonight. Bagwell says he has nothing to do tonightand Konnan tells Nash to "picture him rollin'." Nash asks if Bagwell and Konnan would be willing to face the Horsemen tonight, Bagwell and Konnan are more than happy to oblige.
Before Brad Armstrong vs. Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero shows up and says last week, Jericho got lucky and couldn't take care of things like he wanted to. He asks Brad Armstrong to step aside, but he tells Eddie to hit the bricks before he whups him. As Eddie leaves, Brad Armstrong attacks Jericho from behind.
Chris Jericho beats Brad Armstrong by disqualification and retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship after Jericho is attacked by Eddie Guerrero. He says he is too big, too rich and too tan for anyone around here. He says there is no time for games and that it's time to take care of family business, and nobody will lay a hand on Bischoff. He says the nWo will take care of the Four Horsemen tonight, and that he will put his World title on the line tonight against Sting, whom he says has not beaten anybody and isn't deserving of being in the ring with him as he calls him out. Bischoff says they are wasting time as Sting is nothing but a coward, then the crowd chants for Sting. Sting eventually shows up, rappelling down from the rafters and landing at ringside at a high speed...but it turns out to be a dummy of Sting as "Sting" is dragged into the ring when the nWo pretends to care about Sting's well-being. Hogan mocks the Sting dummy, telling the dummy to admit he's a coward and that he is the best in the world before attacking it. Eric Bischoff takes off his nWo shirt to reveal a referee's shirt underneath as Hogan hits the dummy with leg drops. After Bischoff makes the three-count, the bell is actually rung.

The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian) vs. The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) ends when the team of Mortis and Wrath as well as Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) show up and attack both teams.
Scott Hall beats Super Calo. After the match, Ray Traylor shows up and confronts Hall, and the two of them come to blows. Vincent rushes in after Traylor hits a spinebuster on Hall, but he fares no better. Suddenly, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan walks out and asks him if he wants the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. As Ray Traylor is distracted by HOgan as he stands on the lower rope, Hall takes advantage by hitting The Outsider's Edge on Traylor. Hogan, Hall and Vincent then attack Traylor before Hogan spray paints "Ray?" Hall and Hogan mocking say "Ray who?" before Hogan says "More like the Big Loss Man."

Dean Malenko beats Psychosis with the Texas Cloverleaf. During the match, a fan jumps into the ring, but referee Mark Curtis gets him in a front facelock and Malenko and Psychosis gets a few stomps in until WCW and arena security arrive to escort him out of the arena. After the match, Jeff Jarrett and Debra McMichael show up, and says he doesn't want to wait until Sunday to get in the ring with him and take the United States title back. Malenko goes after Jarrett, and referee Mark Curtis has to hold him back. Debra calls Dean Malenko "a little troll" and says that he will eventually be as popular as pigeon droppings.

His first order of business is making Sting vs. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship official before the year is out. His second order of business is, thanks to an open contract that "Hollywood" Hogan has signed, making a steel cage match between Hogan and himself official for Halloween Havoc. His third order of business is taking Lex Luger and Diamond Dallas out of War Games at Fall Brawl and makes it The Four Horsemen vs. The New World Order to due to recent actions by the nWo.

The New World Order end up retreating, wearing some of the cheese hats that were thrown into the ring, and Luger and Page shake hands and hug as the show comes to an end.
Eric Bischoff shows and heads to the commentary table, and threatens to kick "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko from one side of the ring to the other and then sue him as Bischoff tells the producer to roll the clip of the nWo's parody of The Four Horsemen's promo from last week. The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Curt Hennig, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael) show up, shut the replay down, and call out the nWo at the commentary table before heading to the ring. "Mean" Gene Okerlund joins them shortly afterwards to interview them. Hennig dares the nWo to come out right now or later, while Mongo says that if this is the circus, the Horsemen are the ringleaders and they will make the nWo jump through hoops. Benoti says the Horsemen will outclass, outwrestle and beat them in the ring. Flair, now in a serious mood, says he's went up and down for the last 25 years, and for the first time ever, he was ashamed to tell anyone he was a professional wrestler as they showed one more time why there is nothing sacred in the sport of professional wrestling. He calls "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson a legitimate legend, human being and man, with emphasis on "man." He says WCW did something so huge by dedicating last week to Anderson that the whole world should have recognized that Anderson was a great performer every day of his career. As for the nWo, they would be lucky if they have one friend for life at the end of the road like he does in Anderson, and then says he wants The Wolfpack, and that he's not leaving until he gets them in the ring.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page. He says the first thing he looked for the first time he put on tights and boots was respect, and he had to bust his chops and earn it to get it. He also says that Lex Luger earned it the same way he did. When they got together, however, they butted heads and they didn't click like people thought they would, and when words don't work, they may have to do it the other way: in the ring. Lex Luger shows up as DDP says he's all for any way they can get over the hump, and says he finds this as distasteful as he does, but at least they agree on something. He accepts the challenge on one condition: they do it right and neither of them hold back.

Kevin Nash, Syxx, Konnan and Buff Bagwell show up. Syxx says "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is upset because they made fun of how stupid he really looks showing up on carrying on for the last 20 years. Nash says that emotions are running a little high right now, and there's nothing the nWo would love to do tonight than to take care of the Horsemen, but they're stars and they don't just do anything they're told to do as they're the ones making the rules around here and they're way too busy tonight. Bagwell says he has nothing to do tonightand Konnan tells Nash to "picture him rollin'." Nash asks if Bagwell and Konnan would be willing to face the Horsemen tonight, Bagwell and Konnan are more than happy to oblige.

Vince McMahon interviews WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter in the ring. He admits that last night was complete, uncontrollable chaos, and says there will be law and order in the World Wrestling Federation whether the wrestlers, officials and fans like it or not. He says WWF President appointed him to do a job, and he will do it well. He is tired of what is going on, especially after last night. He says "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's actions were completely out of line, and will not be tolerated. Austin is therefore suspended until he is medically cleared to return to the ring. Also, starting tonight, there will be a tournament for the Intercontinental title, with the finals taking place at Badd Blood on October 5th. He commands Austin to be at Badd Blood to deliver the title present it to the winner of the title. Suddenly, Austin shows up, and says he'll break every law he makes and nobody can stop him, making fun of the "And that's an order" line by saying Slaughter has only been ordering cheeseburgers. As for the Intercontinental title, the only thing he's presenting is a can of whoop-ass right to his front door. He then hits Slaughter with a Stone Cold Stunner, then officials and referees rush into the ring. Vince asks Austin if he's lost his mind, then Vince has to be protected from Austin by officials. Austin then gets in Vince's seat on commentary, then tells him to go to the back because he's doing commentary. He then takes the headset off and celebrates on the commentary table before heading to the back.

Before the next match, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart trashes the city of Cincinnati, Ohio for naming a street after Pete Rose. He then calls Vader a "big, fat, huge piece of human excrement" and says he will take immense pleasure out of kicking the ass of.
Bret "The Hit Man" Hart vs. Vader in a No Holds Barred Match ends in utter chaos. During the match, The British Bulldog shows up, and gets involved when Vader is about to go for the Vader Bomb. The Patriot shows up and fights both Bret and Bulldog, but is attacked from behind by Owen Hart. Bret gets a steel chair outside of the ring as everyone else fights, and use it against Vader and The Patriot. Bret, Owen and The Bulldog are about to piledrive The Patriot into the chair when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up and goes after Bret, Owen and The Bulldog, chasing them to the back.

His name is Uncle Cletus Godwinn, who has came all the way from Arkansas to take care of Henry and Phineas, and whatever he tells them is money in the bank.
Sunny is the guest ring announcer for the next match. She also brags about being near the men's locker room and getting all the hot scoops everyone wants to hear. Sunny then dances with Dude Love after introducing him, then leaves. Dude Love says he has trouble getting into the groove as he knows that he's got to step inside the ring and face Brian Pillman. He says he needs a friend, and the friend he brings out is here strictly for moral support and not to get physical and beat Pillman within an inch of his life. Nevertheless, he says that Dude Love will never forget the name of Goldust. When Brian Pillman is introduced by the usual ring announcer, his voice is heard through the arena, saying he's calling from home and saying he's not going out there until the WWF can promise him and Marlena a safe environment as he's exhausted from last night. We do, however, see a video on the TitanTron, which he calls "Part one" of "Brian Pillman's XXX Files." We see Pillman in his hotel room wearing nothing but a towel, saying he's exhausted and that we'll find out later. He then says "she" is a machine , then he takes off the towel to reveal a pair of Calvin Klein underwear, saying nothing comes between him and his Calvin Kleins except Goldust's wife Terri. He then asks Goldust if he knows where his wife is, and says Part 2 is going to be live and in technicolor. Pillman's voice is heard through the arena again, announcing he will play Part 2 later on.

It is announced that at Badd Blood, The Undertaker will take on "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels in a match known as "Hell In A Cell." It is a specially designed cage with a top on it that extends beyond the ring, and the only way in and out is through a door in the cage.
The Undertaker is interviewed in the ring by Vince McMahon. Last night, he and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels opened the gates of Hell. He felt his fire, and Shawn was burned by his. He says Shawn looked death in the eye and never blinked, but last night was only the beginning as he will never rest until the flesh is rotting from Shawn's bones. As for their Hell In A Cell Match, he calls the match the beginning of the end, and tells Shawn that there's no way out and no way anyone can get in. Shawn will look in the eyes of the reaper and pay for his crimes, as that is when the music stops and the tolling of the bell begins. Suddenly, Shawn shows up on the TitanTron, telling 'Taker to toll his bells someplace else. He says that 'Taker backed him into a corner last night, but he escaped as he is a survivor. At the Hell In A Cell match, he will survive, and tells 'Taker that if he thinks he's bringing him down, he's going into the coffin with him. 'Taker says the only thing Shawn should worry about is that he will rest in peace after the Hell In A Cell match.
Backstage, Sunny interviews Owen Hart, who is also surrounded by Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and The British Bulldog. Owen says he's not concerned about "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, as he put him out of the WWF and will do it again. He will bring Bret and The Bulldog in case Austin shows up again en route to the WWF Intercontinental Championship, which he insists should have been his from the start.
Owen Hart beats Goldust by disqualification after two low blows in retaliation to one received from Owen. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and The British Bulldog attack Goldust after the match, but "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up through the crowd after the match and attacks Owen, Bret and The Bulldog with a broom before daring Vince McMahon to get in the ring with him. He throws the broom at Vince before leaving. After Austin leaves through the crowd, Pillman taunts Goldust through the arena speakers via telephone, and we see Part 2 of "Brian Pillman's XXX Files," where Terri is in the shower and Pillman says he's going to have a hard time getting to sleep tonight.
The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog) is interviewed. Bret wants to know when the WWF will do something about "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, saying that Sgt. Slaughter should suspend him for life. The British Bulldog says the United Kingdom will respect truth and justice on September 20th. Owen says he won tonight, and that he will take the WWF Intercontinental Championship back.
Savio Vega guests on commentary for the next match.
Before the next match, The British Bulldog is attacked by "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Hunter Hearst Helmsley before the next match, and Chyna brings out a steel chair so Shawn and Helmsley can re-injure Bulldog's right knee, which he is wearing a brace over. Referees show up, but Shawn pushes one of them and the attack continues. The British Bulldog is unable to compete after this, and Savio Vega ends up taking his place in the match.

Owen Hart beats Goldust by disqualification after two low blows in retaliation to one received from Owen. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and The British Bulldog attack Goldust after the match, but "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up through the crowd after the match and attacks Owen, Bret and The Bulldog with a broom before daring Vince McMahon to get in the ring with him. He throws the broom at Vince before leaving. After Austin leaves through the crowd, Pillman taunts Goldust through the arena speakers via telephone, and we see Part 2 of "Brian Pillman's XXX Files," where Terri is in the shower and Pillman says he's going to have a hard time getting to sleep tonight.
The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog) is interviewed. Bret wants to know when the WWF will do something about "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, saying that Sgt. Slaughter should suspend him for life. The British Bulldog says the United Kingdom will respect truth and justice on September 20th. Owen says he won tonight, and that he will take the WWF Intercontinental Championship back.
Savio Vega guests on commentary for the next match.
Before the next match, The British Bulldog is attacked by "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Hunter Hearst Helmsley before the next match, and Chyna brings out a steel chair so Shawn and Helmsley can re-injure Bulldog's right knee, which he is wearing a brace over. Referees show up, but Shawn pushes one of them and the attack continues. The British Bulldog is unable to compete after this, and Savio Vega ends up taking his place in the match.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats Savio Vega and The Patriot after Savio Vega accidentally hits the referee with a spinning heel kick and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels shoves The Patriot into Vega from the apron. After the match, Los Boricuas and Vader show up, and Chyna arms herself, Helmsley and Shawn with steel chairs. The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog) show up as the show ends.

In Your House 17: Ground Zero - The Results
Brian Pillman beats Goldust when Goldust inadvertently knocks down the ref during the Curtain Call. As Goldust checks on the ref, Marlena tries to hit Pillman with her purse, but Pillman grabs it and uses it against Goldust. As per pre-match stipulations, Marlena must be Pillman's personal assistant for the next 30 days, and as Marlena checks on Goldust, Pillman forces Marlena to the back. Goldust goes after Pillman, who forces Marlena into a Lincoln Town Car, and Goldust runs after it but doesn't get very far. Jerry "The King" Lawler takes Marlena's purse and opens it up to reveal that half of a brick was inside. Goldust is then seen going ballistic over the loss of Marlena in his dressing room.
"Too Sexy" Brian Christopher beats Scott Putski in a Light Heavyweight Division match due to referee stoppage after Putski hurts his leg and cannot continue. Jerry "The King" Lawler celebrates with Christopher after the match and mocks Putski's injury, which appears to be a dislocated patella. Putski is placed on a gurney and is taken to the back.
Faarooq says he and The Nation of Domination (D'Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Rocky Maivia) are about the streets and that tonight is a street war. He will take out Savio Vega and Crush by any means necessary. Savio Vega says that he is prepared for Faarooq and Crush tonight. Crush tells Faarooq and Vega that he will beat the hell out of them and run his bike straight up their asses.

The USA boxing team, who is getting ready for the 1997 Ali Cup, is seen in the crowd.
Max Mini beats El Torito. (This El Torito is in no relation to El Torito from Los Matadores.) At one point, Max Mini bites the referee in the keister and gets the referee to chase him around the ring, then runs around ringside before sitting on Jerry "The King" Lawler's lap and wearing his crown.
Jim Ross is in the ring with WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaugher, who says that his job has not been easy, but he owes it to the fans to do it to the best of his ability each and every night he is Commissioner. Dude Love is then introduced to the ring, and says that he is usually a happy cat, but "joy has not come to Dudeville." He knows he could not defend the tag titles himself, but he knows that this all wouldn't be possible without "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and relinquishes his half of the WWF Tag Team Championships. Austin is then introduced, and he flips off Jim Ross before staring down Sgt. Slaughter and telling Ross to blow it out his ass. He tells Vince McMahon to stop smiling before he stomps his ass into the ground, and says everyone's had enough of seeing the footage of him being dropped on his head, and that he's tired of being told what he can and can't do and that if he can wrestle, he can wrestle. He asks Slaughter if he wants his half of the tag titles, then throws it to Slaughter's feet and tells him "Why don't you drop and give me twenty, you big piece of trash?" He then gives him one chance to pick up the belt or he'll stomp a mudhole in him. Slaughter, still looking at Austin, picks it up. He tells Slaughter and Ross they make him sick, as does the whole WWF, then says to Ross "Say something if you wanna say it, fat ass." Ross says that he and everyone would love to see him compete tonight, but the WWF does not want him to risk permanent paralysis. Ross hopes he is 100% or more than 100% sooner rather than later, and wishes him a speedy recovery. Austin gives Jim Ross the Stone Cold Stunner, then flips Slaughter off before he leaves. Referees, officials, medical staff, Sgt. Slaugher and even Vince McMahon all check on J.R., and help him to the back as the crowd chants "Slaughter sucks!"

He and The British Bulldog plan on taking the tag titles back. Even Bulldog agrees that J.R. did not deserve the Stone Cold Stunner, and will be 100% behind Owen Hart when he steps in the ring with him.
Michael Cole interviews The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) before the next match. Animal says it's been six long years since they held the WWF Tag Team Championships, and threatens to stick the slop bucket where the sun doesn't shine if The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) bring it to the ring. Hawk tells the Godwinns he will stick them in the bucket and make it a lifetime latrine.
The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) beat The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk), The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) and the team of Owen Hart and The British Bulldog to win the newly-vacant WWF Tag Team Championships after "Stone Cold" Steve Austin hits a Stone Cold Stunner on Owen Hart behind the referee's back as Owen puts Mosh in the Sharpshooter. The Legion of Doom are disqualified after using the Godwinns' bucket against them as a weapon, despite the fact that Phineas I. Godwinn brought the bucket in to begin with. The Headbangers celebrate their title win in the crowd after the match.

Jim Ross and Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter are backstage. J.R. says "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is untrustworthy, and if he is attacked again, he will consider leaving the World Wrestling Federation.
Sunny interviews The Patriot. He's beaten Bret "The Hit Man" Hart once, but he can beat him again. He doesn't know what tricks he has up his sleeves, but if anyone sticks their nose in this match, he will flatten it.
Michael Cole interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. Bret says he may not have any American fans anymore, but he says American fans don't know what a hero is. He is going against a man everyone loves, but that's fine, as everything he does in this match he does to the American wrestling fans who turned their backs on him a long time ago. Bret says he will kick the crap out of The Patriot and that he will enjoy it.
Bret "The Hit Man" Hart retains the WWF Championship in a close match against The Patriot after reversing The Patriot's Sharpshooter with one of his own and The Patriot passed out. During the match, The British Bulldog, who showed up in the middle of the match to stand in Bret's corner, pulls Bret out of the pinfall after an Uncle Slam from The Patriot. The Patriot confronts The British Bulldog, who is attacked from behind by Vader. The Patriot holds Bulldog down from behind as Vader punches Bulldog, and Vader and Bulldog are forced to return to the locker room. Bret continues to attack The Patriot after the match, then tears up The Patriot's American flag before choking him out with it. Referees and officials have to break it up, and Bret punches Pat Patterson before kicking The Patriot a few more times.
Michael Cole interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, who says that America should get used to the fact that they're all losers, and that the World Wrestling Federation is full of losers and they are all Americans. The British Bulldog says the United Kingdom and Canada will win the war against America, and Bret says that at least the United Kingdom respects great wrestlers like them.

At the beginning of the next match, The Undertaker knocks out the ref, and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels tries to get out of the match only to run into WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter The Undertaker tosses the referee into Shawn, then fights Shawn on the stage near the In Your House set until he punches him so hard that he tumbles down the entrance ramp. All the while, there is no official in the ring, and The Undertaker continues to beat up Shawn outside of the ring until Sgt. Slaughter sends out another match, who refuses to stop the match or disqualify The Undertaker. Shawn then hits The Undertaker with a chop block, and then the match officially begins.
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker ends in a double disqualification.. During the match, Shawn drop kicks 'Taker into the referee as the referee keeps The Undertaker from using the steel chair that Shawn introduced into the match as a weapon. Shawn goes for a pinfall soon afterwards, but The Undertaker lifts Shawn off of him and into the ref. During the pinfall, "Ravishing" Rick Rude shows up, and hands Shawn some brass knuckles to punch out 'Taker. Another referee shows up, but he is soon punched out by Shawn as soon as Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chyna arrive. Hunter and Chyna attack 'Taker, then Shawn helps the referee to his feet only to send him head-first into the top turnbuckle. Helmsley then sends 'Taker back into the ring. Shawn works on 'Taker some more, then Helmsley and Chyna attack him again. 'Taker then regains momentum, pulls out the brass knuckles from Shawn's tights and uses them against Shawn before putting them in his tights and punching Helmsley off the apron. The second referee is back up, and even after this, Shawn still kicks out, and the second referee gets choke slammed. Another referee, Tim White, shows up and throws the match out. 'Taker almost choke slams Shawn, but grabs Helmsley and throws him into Shawn before tossing Helmsley over the top rope. Shawn hits Sweet Chin Music, and The Undertaker is tied up in the ropes. Chyna grabs a steel chair at ringside and hands it to Shawn, but when Shawn runs at 'Taker after Helmsley knocks out Tim White, 'Taker kicks the chair into Shawn's face before fighting him and Helmsley off. Helmsley puts a stop to the Tombstone piledriver, and he and Shawn attack 'Taker and any referees and officials that try to restore order. 'Taker hits a Tombstone Piledriver on Helmsley. Other Superstars - all in plain clothes - try to stop both Shawn and The Undertaker. Rockabilly gets choke slammed, but everyone else outnumbers him.
