Fall Brawl 1997 - The Results

Eddie Guerrero beats Chris Jericho after switching his body weight and walking away from a superplex attempt to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray).

Alex Weight retains the WCW World Television Championship against Ultimo Dragon.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund plus the hotline with an exclusive interview with "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson when Konnan, Syxx, Buff Bagwell and Kevin Nash storm through...and then quickly make their way back. We then find out that they have entered a locker room and attacked Curt Hennig.

Befor the next match, Jeff Jarrett tells Debra McMichael to head to the back so he has no distractions.

Jeff Jarrett beats Dean Malenko with the Figure Four Leg Lock to become #1 contender for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. Debra McMichael shows back up at ringside in the middle of the match.

Konnan, Buff Bagwell, Kevin Nash and Syxx. Kevin Nash says Curt Hennig attacked them, not the other way around, and Syxx says The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Curt Hennig, "The Crippler" CHris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" Michael) are finished. They have a doozy of a plan for War Games, and then play to retire the Horsemen.

Mortis and Weath beat The Faces of Fear (Meng and The Barbarian) after Mortis hits the Death Penalty on Meng, who has both Mortis and James Vandenberg in the Tongan Death Grip.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Steve "Mongo" McMichael. Benoit says it will be an honor to give the nWo a taste of reality and teach them what The Four Horsemen are about. Mongo tells the nWo they can run, but they can't hide, as the Horsemen will bring down the apocalypse on them tonight. Flair says if he ever thought about quitting when his back was against the wall, he would not be here tonight. He says Hennig paid the price for being a Horseman, but if they can put him together, he'll walk that aisle and profile. He says he has more heart, desire, soul and reality in his body than the nWo will ever know, and tonight, they will bleed and sweat, and the nWo will pay the price for life.

The Giant beats Scott Norton.

Lex Luger and Diamond Dallas Page beat Scott Hall and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. During the match, Scott Hall knocks out referee Mark Curtis in the other ring, and when referee Mickey Jay is also attacked by Hall, "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko leaves commentary and confronts Scott Hall. As Zbyszko teases getting into the ring with Hall, Lex Luger, who has been kicked into the gap between the two rings is there when Zbyszko finally gets in the ring and pushes Hall, who then tumbles over Luger. Zbyszko plays referee and gives Luger and Page the victory via a fast count.

The New World Order (Kevin Nash, Konnan, Syxx, Buff Bagwell) beat The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Curt Hennig, "The Crippler' Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael) in War Games by means of surrender. During the match, Curt Hennig, who is initially thought to be hurt, shows up with one of his arms in a sling. When he gets into the ring, he takes the sling off and reveals that he is not even hurt, then he attcks The Horsemen along with the nWo before he hands the nWo sets of handcuffs to cuff The Horsemen to the cage with. Mongo surrenders during the beatdown, and Hennig slams one of the cage doors on Flair's head as he is revealed to be yet another member of The New World Order.
