We see footage of AEW wrestlers from Wrestle Dynasty.
Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) heads to the stage. Isiah Kassidy talk about being on last week and leaving as tag team champions, then says Private Party should celebrate before The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) shows up. MVP is impressed, then proposes raising a toast to Private Party. Everyone in the VIP area joins as MVP toasts Private Party for defending the tag team titles, and Bobby toasts to The Hurt Syndicate taking the titles before dumping his shot in the wine bucket. (One of the people in the VIP area is former Memphis Wrestling co-Women's Champion(?) Nixi XS.)
MVP guests on commentary for the next match.
Bobby Lashley beats Mark Briscoe by submission with the Hurt Lock. After the match, Lashley and Shelton Benjamin gang up on Mark Briscoe, then Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) show up with metal folding chairs. The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) retreats.
Powerhouse Hobbs beats Kyle O'Reilly, "Switchblade" Jay White, "Hangman" Adam Page, Wheeler Yuta, Ricochet, Adam Cole, Daniel Garcia, Roderick Strong, Lance Archer and Jeff Jarrett in the men's Casino Gauntlet Match to face Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship next week. During the match, Wheeler Yuta attacks Jeff Jarrett from behind and keeps him out of the match. After the match, Renee Paquette interviews Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs says that Jon Moxley is the one to bring him to AEW, but next week, he plans to shock the world when he makes Moxley his bitch. Jeff Jarrett heads to the ring as Powerhouse Hobbs leaves.
We see a video package chronicling the feud between Hook and Christian Cage.
Ian Riccaboni interviews Jeff Jarrett in the ring. Jarrett says he has to ask himself if he has what it takes to climb that mountain. All of a sudden, MJF shows up. MJF tells Riccaboni to get out of his ring, then introduces himself to Jarrett. He says that he wants the World Championship back and that the world title scene is hard work, then says that Jeff Jarrett may be the one man he considers worthy of holding the championship. MJF says he knows Jarrett wants to be world champion, then reminds him that the clock is ticking and that Jarrett has been less than honest with the fans, stating that his new contract was for one more year. He says that he only signed that contract because one year is all the professional wrestling business thinks Jarrett has left to give, and that Jarrett has only one year to prove that he still has it. MJF says he can help Jarrett become World Champion one more time, because without him, he could not even win one more match. He then asks a favor: he wants to be first in line when Jarrett wins the World Championship. MJF then asks Jarrett if they have a deal, then Jarrett takes the microphone and says MJF was the champion, but says that he is "a one-hit wonder" who does not learn from his failures. He says that he has been at rock bottom and that he is comfortable there, but it also gives him the opportunity to fight his way back up to the top of the mountain, and while MJF had an opportunity, he would rather scheme and connive. Jarrett says he will make the most of his year, then tells MJF he does not need him and that he is not buying what he is selling before calling him an "entitled prick."
Adam Copeland heads to the ring. Copeland calls out Jon Moxley, mentioning the damage that The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir) have caused as of late and telling him that going after FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) was a massive mistake. He says that no one has fought through what he has fought through just to be here in the ring and that he will die on that hill, for he is a different animal entirely. He talks about breaking his neck against Eddie Guerrero and breaking his leg against Malakai Black and getting back up and winning those matches, and wants to know what Moxley can do to him that has not been done before. Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta show up, and Copeland looks around to make sure that he is not being ambushed. All of a sudden, the three of them are attacked from behind by FTR. Copeland joins in, and this leads to a brawl around the ring. Marina Shafir shows up from out of nowhere and distracts Copeland, and that allows PAC, who also appears from out of nowhere, to hit Copeland from behind with a briefcase. The Death Riders get the numbers advantage, and Moxley puts Copeland in the bulldog choke before Shafir hands Moxley a plastic bag. Suddenly, Powerhouse Hobbs shows up, and The Death Riders retreat as Hobbs gets in the ring.
We hear from "The Glamour" Mariah May, who tells the women in the Women's Casino to make history by dancing for her like the marionettes that they are before she cuts their strings and burns them alive. All of a sudden, Harley Cameron shows up impressed with Mariah's promo, and proposes "an appetizer" between them on Collision with "hot girl graps." Mariah May likes the idea, then says she will rip Harley's head off.
Kris Statlander beats Toni Storm and Willow Nightingale in a three-way match to enter the Women's Casino Gauntlet Match at #1.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Toni Storm, who says that she gave her best tonight but was just not ready. She says she will keep working hard and that it cannot be Toni Time all the time.
Kenny Omega heads to the ring. Omega talks about his diverticulitis diagnosis, the surgery and the recovery process, during which he had to return to the hospital four more times, and how he considered giving up before realizing he would not have much of a purpose if he did. He says that he found his purpose in Tokyo, Japan just like did tonight, and says that if he is not front of the fans giving everything that he has and proving that he is the best, then he is not living. Omega says that while he may not be able to do some of the things he used to do, he can still prove he is the best. Suddenly, Don Callis shows up. Omega chases after Callis as soon as he speaks and attacks him, and Brian Cage and Lance Archer soon show up to gang up on Omega. Back in the ring, Omega fights back, and Kyle Fletcher soon shows up and joins in on the attack. Archer and Fletcher hold Omega down for a gut punch from Cage, then Will Ospreay runs out with a metal folding chair to make the save. Cage, Archer and Fletcher retreat, then Ospreay tosses the chair down when Omega sees him. Both Ospreay and Omega have a staredown in the ring as the show ends.
