Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for April 11, 2024

The show begins with "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and Alex Hammerstone going at in in and out of the ring, with Alexander getting busted open in the process. Security has to restore order, and Tommy Dreamer also shows up to calm Alexander down. Tommy Dreamer tells Josh Alexander to head to the back, as he has something to say to Hammerstone personally and Alexander has Hammerstone at Rebellion. Dreamer says that Alexander is the face of TNA because he has worked hard to do it, and also says that he is a big reason that Hammerstone is in TNA, as he feels Hammerstone is everything that Alexander is. He says that Alexander and Hammerstone gave it everything they had, and that Hammerstone had to take a shortcut despite his talent. He tells Hammerstone that the TNA crowd is the most honest he will ever work in front of, and tells him not to take his path when he has such a good legacy. Dreamer says that tonight will be one hell of a show before thanking Hammerstone for being part of the next generation of performers in TNA. Both men shake hands, then Hammerstone attacks Dreamer from behind before putting him in the Torture Rack. Hammerstone retreats when Alexander runs back to the ring. Alexander says that if Hammerstone will not listen to Dreamer, then they can settle things in a Last Man Standing Match at Rebellion.

Crazzy Steve retains the TNA Digital Media Championship against Laredo Kid by disqualification. During the match, Steve tries to pull Laredo Kid's mask off, and this angers Laredo Kid enough to keep pelting Crazzy Steve with elbows in the corner to the point that when the referees tells Laredo Kid to let him out of the corner, Laredo Kid shoves the ref, causing the disqualification. After the match, Crazzy Steve tries to hit Laredo Kid with the Digital Media title, but Laredo Kid is able to fend him off and make him retreat.

Backstage, Alex Shelley apologizes to KUSHIDA and Chris Sabin. He says doing things on his own did not go as planned and does not excuse how he has treated them, and realizes KUSHIDA threw in the towel in his best interest. He also tells Sabin that they are better as a group. Sabin says that brothers fight, but also need to hug.

First Class (AJ Francis and Rich Swann) beat ABC ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey) after AJ Francis grabs Ace Austin by the foot and Rich Swann pins Austin with a schoolkid pin while grabbing the tights. Hendry says that two weeks ago, he wanted to give Swann the opportunity to explain why he aligned with AJ Francis, but instead, he gave him the equivalent of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme where he changes the ending to call AJ Francis "Fat Uncle Phil." He also says he has spoken with Director of Authority Santino Marella and states that he has gotten a one-on-one match with Rich Swann at Rebellion.

Backstage, Director of Authority Santino Marella is met by Ash By Elegance and her concierge George Iceman regarding the Knockouts Championship match contract signing, saying Steph de Lander won on Ash's behalf. Santino says he is not buying it, and walks away.

Backstage, Mustafa Ali meets with The Grizzled Young Vets (Zack Gibson and James Drake), stating that a massive injustice is about to occur with Jake Something having an X Division title match against him at Rebellion. As Zack Gibson says that they do not pick fights with people like Jake Something, Jake Something shows up and says that the match is happening whether Mustafa or the Grizzled Young Vets like it or not.

Director of Authority Santino Marella oversees the contract signing between Steph de Lander and Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Championship at Rebellion. De Lander is brought out first alongside Matt Cardona, followed by Jordynne Grace. Matt Cardona grabs the microphone and puts Steph de Lander on the pedestal before proclaiming that Steph de Lander, who signs the contact, will be the new Knockouts World Champion. Jordynne says she appreciates Cardona and De Lander for being here and being confident enough to think they can take something she has worked so hard for, and that she has earned every accolade that she has gotten in TNA. After Jordynne asks if Cardona will be doing all the talking when Cardona brings up beating her for the Digital Media title, De Lander says she has so many accolades that she has no time to list them all. She also says that when TNA called for the recent 8-4-1 Match, she took that call, then proclaims that Jordynne Grace has been distracted as of late and questions if her head is in the game and if her focus is to keep the Knockouts World Championship. Jordynne says representing TNA has always been her top priority and that she defends against every challenger, including De Lander, and that she wears so many hats as she prides herself in outworking everyone. She says she will outwork Steph de Lander to keep her title and her legacy in TNA because she has already beaten both De Lander and Cardona as well as Chelsea Green and she is more than happy to do it again, because "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" When Cardona takes offense to Jordynne calling De Lander a bitch, Jordynne says the "bitch" comment was directed towards him. Jordynne signs the contract, and when De Lander shakes her hand, Jordynne refuses to let go of her hand, and this leads to a brawl in which Santino is inadvertently knocked out when Jordynne back elbows Cardona into him. This leads to Cardona and De Lander double-teaming Jordynne before De Lander choke slams Jordynne through a table.

Backstage, Masha Slamovich is interrupted by The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers), and Alisha Edwards wants an answer to her offer from last week. Eddie says Alisha and Masha could be champions, and Masha responds to Eddie in Russian before walking away.

We see another vignette for Jonathan Gresham, who says that he has three masks. One is the one he shows the world, the second is the one he only shows to close friends, and the third mask has not been shown to anyone because it is the truest reflection of who he is. We then see a tree, with someone talking about how they see a tree and how they were told to cut it down.

Moose beats Trent Seven. After the match, The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose) surrounds "Speedball" Mike Bailey as he checks on Trent Seven, and when Bailey kicks Eddie, the numbers game takes over. Time Machine (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, KUSHIDA) gets in the ring to make the save.

Backstage, The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose) confront Director of Authority Santino Marella over Time Machine's (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, KUSHIDA) recent actions, and Speedball Mountain ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and Trent Seven) suddenly show up. Mike Bailey tells The System to face The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) with the tag titles on the line while they face the winners. Santino likes the idea and puts The System in a tag team match with The Motor City Machine Guns, with Speedball Mountain facing the winners at Rebellion. After The System and Speedball Mountain leave, Decay (Rosemary and Havok) show up to use their Knockouts Tag title rematch clause at Rebellion, which Santino allows.

Jake Something beats James Drake after Cody Deaner shows up and takes out Zack Gibson on the outside. After the match, Mustafa Ali shows up with protestors, saying that Jake Something does not belong in the X Division and that the X Division needs limits, as he is "outside of the weight limits." Mustafa leads a "No To Jake" chant, and that leads to Jake diving onto all of the protestors before grabbing Mustafa, throwing him into the ring and nearly powerbombing him before The Grizzled Young Vets (Gibson and Drake) butt in and hit Grit Your Teeth. Cody Deaner goes after the Vets, but he gets overpowered, and The Grizzled Young Vets hold Jake Something down so that Mustafa can blast him with the X Division title.

PCO beats Kon in a Monster's Ball match.
