Generation NXT - NXT recap for June 15, 2016

Tonight's show begins with a ribbon - one half being the American flag and the other being the rainbow flag - and "We Stand With Orlando" on the bottom.

We finally find out who the men Paul Ellering showed up with last week are: The Authors of Pain.

The Authors of Pain beat two unknown opponents by blowout.

Cathy Kelley is interviewing Andrade "Cien" Almas when "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger shows up wanting a rematch.

Carmella beats Tessa Blanchard with her submission, which is now known as the Code of Silence. During the match, it is announced that Andrade "Cien" Almas will face "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger in a rematch later tonight.

Last week, Samoa Joe asked what people are willing to sacrifice for the NXT Championship and said that his era has begun.

Cathy Kelley interviews Blake and Murphy, who are suddenly a team again. They say they've put their history behind them, and they're on the road back to the tag team titles starting with TM61 (Shane Thorne and Nick Miller).

TM-61 (Shane Thorne and Nick Miller) finally get their first win on NXT television against Blake and Murphy when Shane Thorne causes some bad communication between Blake and Murphy.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) said last week that they have proven themselves that they're the best tag team on the planet with a second NXT Tag Team Championship title reign.

It is announced that Bobby Roode has arrived in NXT at the recent Download Festival.

Andrea DeMarco interviews Bayley, who says that she has a doctor's appointment next week, and if all goes well, she'll be coming back soon.

Finn Balor shows up. He talks about the first time he saw NXT on his TV back home, saw Enzo Amore and Big Cass and knew he had to be part of it. He talks about his battles with Neville, Tyler Breeze, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe, and asks what is next for Finn Balor. He soon finds out: it's Shinsuke Nakamura, who makes his entrance. Shinsuke says that when he was in Japan, he watched him become the icon of NXT, which he still is despite not being the champion anymore. He feels that in order to become the champion, he must first defeat the icon. Finn Balor accepts Nakamura's challenge.
