Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 6, 2016

The show begins with Dean Ambrose entering the ring whle Alberto Del Rio, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens are already in, standing on the top of their own ladders. Jericho and Owens argue over how famous they are, then Owens says he will win. Dean Ambrose just wants to fight while Owens says he will cash in and take on all comers when he wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but Sami Zayn says the briefcase is an opportunity, not a guarantee, and says he'll use the opportunity as a means to pay it forward. Ambrose sees where Sami Zayn is coming from, saying he'll fight anybody, and wants to get to fighting. Del Rio calls Sami Zayn a paperboy as he says that Sami Zayn is nothing compared to him, and Jericho tells Cesaro to shut up while he is talking, then claims he won a Money In The Bank Ladder Match - when he never has, even though he calls it "his match." He then asks everyone to drink in the gift of Jericho, but everyone climbs down and Ambrose punches Jericho off his ladder. As everyone brawls, Teddy Long shows up out of the blue for the first time in a long time, saying that he plans to lead SmackDown to a new era. After a bunch of verbal botches while considering putting all six guys in a "disqualification match six-pack Iron Man challenge," among other types of matches, Stephanie shows up and is amazed at what is going on. We also find out from her that Shane is not here tonight as he is on vacation. She tells Teddy Long that they haven't made a decision yet for who will manage SmackDown and tells him to get out of here, and then asks that his music not be played. Teddy leaves, then Stephanie puts all six men in the ring in singles matches: Sami Zayn faces Alberto Del Rio, Dean Ambrose faces Kevin Owens, and Cesaro faces Chris Jericho. That last match happens next. Teddy Long's music is then played.

Cesaro beats Chris Jericho with the Sharpshooter.

We look back at the history between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns from Rollins' point of view with footage from the recent WWE 24 episode starring Rollins.

Titus O'Neil guests on commentary for the next match.

Rusev beats Jack Swagger by count-out after sending Swagger into Titus O'Neil. Titus gets into the ring, but Swagger and Titus team up to send Rusev running out of the ring.

John Cena shows up. He says that last week was a "once in a generation" moment. He then calls out AJ Styles, asking him to explain himself. AJ Styles shows up with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson alongside him. Styles says he had a plan to get Cena in the ring...and it worked. He says Cena insults him every time the bell rings, and says that Cena can't beat him even on his best day, and even says he's told his kids he can run circles around Cena. Cena reminds Styles that he hasn't done much successfully lately in WWE, whether it be the Royal Rumble or a World Heavyweight Championship title shot, and says that he has no idea who he's dealing with. Styles says he sells venues out whenever he goes into the ring, and tells him he has nothing to lose. When Cena asks why he's involving Gallows and Anderson, he says that guys like Cena bury guys like him, and Gallows and Anderson are his insurance policy. The Club then surround the ring, and as they get in, so do The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods). The Club are forced to retreat...for now.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass tell The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) that they are the next tag team champions before the next match.

The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) beat Enzo Amore and Big Cass by disqualification after English tosses Enzo out of the ring much like he did at Payback. Big Cass sees this and stomps a mudhole in English, refusing to listen to the ref when he tells him to get English out of the corner. Simon Gotch tries to get a few shots in, but Big Cass also lays him out. Enzo Amore can't believe what he's seeing when he comes to.

Tom Phillips interviews Sami Zayn backstage. He says he's the underdog in the Money In The Bank Ladder match, as Del Rio is the only contract holder to actually get the title. Del Rio interrupts, telling him that Sami's dream is his reality and that it is Sami's destiny to stay where he is.

Teddy Long is backstage with Stephanie McMahon. He tells Stephanie that there's a big opportunity in the tag team division and suggests a Fatal Four-Way Match for the tag team titles: Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) vs. The Club (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods). When Stephanie asks Teddy how he got past security, he implies he bribed them. She tells him to leave again, then steals his idea and proposes it to the marketing department.

Alberto Del Rio beats Sami Zayn.

Dean Ambrose runs into Kevin Owens backstage. Owens calls Ambrose a joke and says he's really off the deep end, but Ambrose says that after all he's done recently, Owens will be the one needing help.

We see Roman Reigns' side of the story in the history between Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Dean Ambrose beats Kevin Owens. After the match, Ambrose pulls a ladder out from underneath the ladder and almost grabs the Money In The Bank briefcase when Owens pushes the ladder and sends Ambrose down with it. He then declares the briefcase is his.

Charlotte and Dana Brooke show up. Charlotte apologizes to her dad Ric Flair, saying he's dead to her professionally and that she still wants to be his friend. Suddenly, Natalya and Becky Lynch appear, and say that they're not believing a word that she's saying. Charlotte calls the Harts "a trainwreck of a family" and Natalya calls Charlotte's treatment of her dad disgusting. Natalya and Becky then tell Dana Brooke to realize what kind of a person Charlotte is, and try to get her to realize that she's not important to her and that Charlotte is a master maniplator. Dana Brooke backs away slowly, then attacks Natalya, starting a two-on-two brawl where Dana Brooke and Charlotte come out on top.

The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico) ask us to come to the Caribbean.

Tyler Breeze vs. R-Truth ends before it can really begin when Goldust tosses Fandango into the ring. Teddy Long shows up again and tries to make this a tag team match even though he's not in charge, and is escorted out by security. Stephanie McMahon tells him her father Vince wants someone young and intelligent run SmackDown, and that person will be her. She then tells Teddy to get out.

WWE remembers boxing great Muhammad Ali.

Next week on Raw: Dean Ambrose and The Ambrose Asylum with special guests Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns!

SmackDown Becky Lynch vs. Dana Brooke! Dean Ambrose Chris Jericho!

Before the next match, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) make fun of The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson), saying their club does not matter and that the only club that does is the WWE Tag Team Champions.

The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) begins with AJ Styles hitting Xavier Woods with a Styles Clash outside the ring after chaos ensues around the ring.

During the break, Xavier Woods is taken to the back, and The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) is now 3-on-2.

The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E). The Club attack The New Day after the match, then John Cena shows up to fight The Club off. Kofi Kingston and Big E jump in to help Cena out and force The Club out of the ring.
