Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 13, 2013

The show starts with a dance-off between Chris Jericho and Fandango. Fandango dances with Summer Rae, and Jericho with world-class ballroom dancer Edyta Sliwinska. After trash talk from both men, the dance-off begins. Bad luck befalls Summer Rae when she tweaks her ankle. When both Edyta and Jericho check on her, Fandango (who is leaving the ring) turns back around, rushes into the ring and beats Jericho up. He then pulls off a piece of the ballroom flooring that is in the ring and smacks Jericho in the side of the head with it. He then goes to Summer Rae, who reveals she faked her injury the entire time.

Ryback beats Zack Ryder.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beats Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) after Darren hits Brodus in the neck with his afro pick.

Teddy Long, with the authority vested in him by Vickie Guerrero, has an announcement concerning the World Heavyweight title match at Extreme Rules, but Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger butt in to try to get Dolph Ziggler stripped of the title. Big E Langston and AJ Lee also butt in, and both pairs argue with each other. Due to Dolph's concussion last week on SmackDown, the match at Extreme Rules will be a #1 contender's "I Quit" match between Swagger and Alberto Del Rio. Big E Langston also has a match against a mystery opponent tonight. That opponent will be voted on later tonight. Will it be Del Rio or Swagger?

Kofi Kingston beats Damien Sandow.

Josh Mathews interviews "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, only to be made an example out of by Henry, who puts his hand in one end of the strap, pushes him down to the floor, and then touches all four turnbuckles. He lets Mathews go, then calls out Sheamus, who shows up. Henry dares Sheamus to go at it with him right now, and Sheamus does...with his own strap! Henry retreats.

Randy Orton beats Antonio Cesaro.

The Miz beats Heath Slater with the Figure Four Leg Lock.

Kane and Daniel Bryan will defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules. Also, Kofi Kingston will defend the WWE United States Championship against Dean Ambrose on the same night.

John Cena, Kane and Daniel Bryan beat The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) by disqualification when the eliminated Rollins and Reigns save Ambrose from the STF. After Cena receives a three-man powerbomb, Ryback shows up, stands over Cena, then prepares to leaves only to turn back, grab a steel chair from underneath the ring and attack Cena's injured ankle with it.

Big E Langston's opponent? Jack Swagger.

Jack Swagger beats Big E Langston by count-out. Alberto Del Rio runs in to attack Swagger, but Swagger is able to lock in the Patriot Lock. Ricardo Rodriguez proves enough of a distraction so that Del Rio can lock in the Cross Arm Breaker, but Langston beats down Del Rio and goes after Swagger again. Swagger takes Langston out, but Del Rio cleans house.

The Miz and Cody Rhodes will face each other in the Extreme Rules pre-show.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nicole Bella) and Kaitlyn guest on commentary for the next match.

AJ Lee beats Natalya with the Octopus submission hold.

Matt Striker interviews Chris Jericho. He's tired of playing by Fandango's rules. It's time to play by his.

When Triple H enters the ring, the steel cage comes down towards the ring.

After the break, Triple H - now in a cage - talks about the ring has made him what he is and how it made him learn to hate. He dares Brock Lesnar to take his "home." Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up, and Triple H dares Lesnar to get in the ring. Heyman decides to play semantics with Triple H's words before promising Lesnar will teach him the true meaning of "hate." Lesnar may be ready for a fight, but that fight will have to wait until Sunday. Triple H figures out that Lesnar won't stand face-to-face with him like a man because Heyman can't afford to, and uses reverse psychology to lure Lesnar towards him. Both men beat each other down and the door is shut, but Triple H throws Lesnar through the cage door. Lesnar retreats.
