Bully Ray wants AJ Styles to pay for his actions last week. When D'Lo Brown tells Mr. Anderson he's sorry his plan didn't work out, Anderson attacks him from behind.
Bully Ray and Devon enter the ring. In three days, Aces and Eights will dominate. Bully Ray makes fun of Sting accepting his stipulation, saying Sting didn't give it much thought. Sting may have been the best for the big one, but he won't beat Bully to get the world title again.
Joseph Park and Sting beat Bully Ray and Devon when Abyss's music hits and distracts Bully. Abyss never shows, but Park and Sting take advantage of the situation.
Kurt Angle still considers AJ Styles's actions from last wek unforgivable. There is still some mutual respect, but Kurt Angle's got his eye on him until Slammiversary...
Dixie Carter shows up. She talks about the next induction into the TNA Hall of Fame, then wishes Sting luck. Garett Bischoff, D.O.C. and Wes Brisco of Aces and Eights show up and basically put her down for not siding with Bully Ray. They corner her, but Samoa Joe and Magnus scare them off. Joe then challenges Garett to a match right now for running his mouth. Garett gets in the ring.
Aces and Eights (D.O.C., Wes Brisco, Garett Bischoff) attack Magnus, ending the match. Samoa Joe gets them all with a high-risk back-first rolling dive, then calls them all cowards. At Slammiversary, it's the three "cowards" versus Joe, Magnus...and Jeff Hardy!
Hulk Hogan tells Brooke not to give in to Bully Ray. Thankfully, she knows he's doing wrong with the "I love you's," but it's hard to concentrate on the Knockouts division with him around. Hulk Hogan is now pulling for Sting more than ever.
Gunner, "The Cowboy" James Storm, Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero beat Austin Aries, Bobby Roode and Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) in an eight-man tag match.
As AJ Styles arrives, Bully Ray has to do damage control. They must dominate at Slammiversary as they declare war on Impact Wrestling. Bully wants victims...or else!
Mickie James says it's great to be champ again, and she thanks the fans for their support. It's been a long time coming, but it was worth it. She then addresses how she won through taking advantage of Velvet Sky's bum knee, and she does this by calling out Velvet Sky, who shows up. They both come to common ground, as Velvet asks for a rematch at Slammiversary. Sadly, there's already a Knockouts match for that night, but Velvet Sky is still more than welcome to one. Gail Kim shows up and says that after she takes out Taryn Terrell, she's going for the gold again. When Velvet tells Gail to get in line, Gail attacks her bad knee yet again. Terrell has to run in and stop her, but Gail escapes before Taryn can get in the ring.
Chris Sabin and Taryn Terrell beat Gail Kim and Kenny King. When Sabin says he'll win the X Division title on Sunday, Kenny King attacks him. Suicide then comes to the ring and takes out King. Suicide then picks up the X Division title and stares down Sabin.
Kurt Angle attacks AJ Styles during the latter's match against Mr. Anderson. AJ takes out Angle, but Aces and Eights show up and attack AJ. In turn, Sting and Team TNA show up to fight Aces and Eights as AJ and Kurt fight each other until they take the brawl back to the locker room. The ring is eventually cleared, and Sting and Bully go at it. Devon attacks Sting from behind, however, and this sets the stage for a 3D to Sting. Aces and Eights salute to the audience as the show ends.
Here's that Slammiversary XI card again, by the way.
