Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for March 13, 2000

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair apologizes to The Total Package for what happened Wednesday, and tells him he wants to "ride with Team Package." He then tells The Total Package that he will bring "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson to their camp.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up. He says that he is in Providence, Rhode Island to make and prove a point, and tells The Total Package and Miss Elizabeth that he will stay true to his word, bring out "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, have Anderson apologize to him and make him part of Team Package. Anderson shows up, and Flair reminds him and the world that there are 4,000 women wondering what will happen in Anderson does not apologize, that he has made it right for him for the past fifteen years, that The Horsemen are dead, and that the women still love them after all this time. Flair asks Anderson to join him as part of Team Package. Anderson says it would be easy and honorable to do just that after all they have done for each other, but The Four Horsemen are something that myth is made of and that they earned that privilege the old-fashioned way. He tells Flair that what he is doing with The Total Package is ego-driven and part of a road to destruction, and that he does not want to be caught in the middle. He would rather they separate as friends, or else their lives would constantly intertwine at different times. Anderson then tells Flair that in six days, he will have his hardest match yet, but Flair demands that Anderson get in the ring. Anderson says that Flair has always said he is the man, not Hulk Hogan, and calls Hulk Hogan out so he can talk to him. Hogan shows up, and Flair thinks that Anderson is turning his back on him for Hulkamania, and Anderson tells Hulk that for fifteen years, Flair has always said that he is the man and that they will find out who the man is in six days. He tells Hogan that he has a long road ahead of him, and tells Hulk Hogan that he is removing himself from the entire situation between Hogan and Flair. Anderson walks away, then Hogan tells Flair he has a problem now that Anderson is no longer watching his back after 20 years. He then says that when he straps his pythons on Flair, he will put an end to the myth of Ric Flair once and for all. He tells Flair that Providence, Rhode Island is Hulk Hogan country, and says that the fans don't want to wait to see them go at it at Uncensored. Hogan rips his shirt off and gets in the ring with Flair, whom he easily overpowers until The Total Package runs into the ring and hits Hogan in the back with a baseball bat. The Total Package continues to whack Hogan with the bat and Flair starts to smack Hogan with the weight belt, and referees get in the ring only to be quickly run out of the ring by Flair and the Total Package. Trainer Danny Young and a few referees help Hogan out of the ring, and Hogan complains that his shoulder is hurt.

We see Riki Rachtman at the Liquid Lounge in footage from Saturday, March 11th as part of Nitro Spring Break. Disco Inferno is seen playing pool with 3 Count (Evan Karagias, Shannon Moore, Shane Helms). We also see some footage of the latest Campus Clash, and the Nitro Girls are also there.

Backstage, Hulk Hogan is checked on by a few EMTs as Jimmy Hart begs for Hogan to go to the hospital.

3 Count (Evan Karagias, Shannon Moore, Shane Helms) beat The Jung Dragons (Kaz Hayashi, Yang, Jamie-san).

The Total Package tells "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair that he does not need "THe Enforcer" Arn Anderson anymore, and Flair says that Anderson made a big mistake not helping him.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson wishes Curt Hennig good luck tonight, as he is going home to see his kids and he does not know what to do about his situation with "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair anymore.

El Dandy and Silver King are seen reading their fan mail when Miss Hancock shows up. Silver King says that they are big stars in their native Mexico, and El Dandy asks Miss Hancock if they "excite her groin," which irritate her and makes her leave. El Dandy and Silver King agree that she will be back.

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. The Wall ends in a no-contest. During the match, it is announced that Hulk Hogan is now heading to a local hospital for his shoulder injury. Shortly afterwards, The Wlal handcuffs Bigelow to the turnbuckle, ending the match, and Crowbar hits The Wall in the back with a metal pipe. The Wall hits Crowbar with a big boot before ripping his neck brace off and choke slamming him and tossing him out of the ring. David Flair gets in the ring and hits The Wall with a crowbar before he meets the same fate as Crowbar. The Wall then places Crowbar on a table, then choke slams David Flair into Crowbar and through the table that he set up at the beginning of the match.

Jeff Jarrett shows up with The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris), Midajah, Tylene and April. Midajah, Tylene and April are told to leave by The Harris Brothers, but Jarrett tells them not to send them to the back as they deserve to be by his side. He says that nobody will deprive the fans of what they have, as they want to flaunt what they have. Jarrett asks the fans if they want to see some skin, then tells them "fat chance" and that the only skin they will get is what they see when they look down the front of their shirts. He then sends the women to the back. Jarrett then talks about Uncensored and how he will become WCW World Heavyweight Champion, as he has proven three times that he is the better man. Jarrett says that he has Sid's number and not the other way around, and announces he has set up a compilation of guitar shots to Sid Vicious that he calls "Jeff Jarrett's Greatest Hits." After the compilation of guitar shots, Jarrett says he will be dripping in gold. As for tonight, he will be taking a break before Uncensored, but Sid will not be. He challenges Sid to a match against The Harris Boys with a partner of his choice, and says it does not matter who Sid picks as they will both be H-Bombed straight to Hell. Jarrett then demands that Sid Vicious shine up the World title for him, because when The Harris Boys get done with Sid, there will be nothing left. Sid Vicious then shows up, and tells Jarrett that at Uncensored, he will rip his "smart-ass mouth" eight feet wide and slip "Ol' Slapnuts" right in. He then says Jarrett has never had his number and that he will not know it, and that the only number he should know is 911. As for The Harris Boys, he would rather beat them on his own, but it is not that hard to find a partner as anyone would want to beat their asses. He then says he already has someone who is interested in doing that tonight: Vampiro, who shows up. Sid then tells Jarrett that he and Vampiro will kick The Harris Boys' asses, then Vampiro dares Jarrett to interfere in the match.

Crowbar and David Flair are placed in an ambulance, and Bam Bam Bigelow tells The Wall that if he wants to break furniture and beat up people who can't defend themselves, then he will take him on at Uncensored.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray, Big T, Cash, J. Biggs). Stevie Ray says he will make short order of Disco Inferno, and if The Mamalukes (Johnny the Bull and Big Vito) want to get involved, he will have Big T and Cash watching his back. He then tells Kidman to watch his back at Uncensored, as he cannot trust Booker. J. Biggs says that if it slithers and is slimy, it is a snake, and he tells Kidman that Booker is nothing but a snake.

Brian Knobbs tells us not to try what happens on the screen at home.

We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

We get a look at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic and Big Jakes, whose biceps are 28 inches around. "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff gets a word with Big Jakes and tries to get him interested in a contract with World Championship Wrestling.

Kidman and Booker beat Lane and Idol (now known as Lane and Rave). Miss Hancock shows up just before the match begins and guests on commentary. When Miss Hancock says that she has her eyes on Kidman, Torrie Wilson walks up to her and tells her he's taken. After the match, Kidman and Booker argue after the match over some miscommunication near the end of the match.

Before the next match, an ambulance pulls up outside of the arena, and Hulk Hogan steps out from the driver's seat. Jimmy Hart tells Hogan that Curt Hennig and The Total Package are still in the ring.

Curt Hennig beats The Total Package by disqualification after "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair interferes. After the match, Flair pulls out the weight belt and smacks Hennig as The Total Package takes the boots to Hennig, then Hulk Hogan runs into the ring and clears both The Total Package and Ric Flair out. Hogan, now no longer wearing a cast on his hand, calls out Flair, saying he and Hennig have heard the people of Providence, Rhode Island, and says that they would like to see them kick Flair and The Total Package's asses tonight. Ever since he entered the business, he has always had something in common with Hennig, and tonight, they definitely have something in common. He tells Flair and The Total Package to saddle up, as they are about to see what they are all about as he continues to challenge Flair and The Total Package to a tag team match.

Backstage, Vampiro tells Jeff Jarrett it is easier to run and hide behind The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris0, but he cannot do it forever. He says the only thing that is forever is how sick he feels and how much he hates Jarrett. He says it is his pain, and that it is time to share. He tells Jarrett to be careful what he wishes for if he thinks he is a freak, because he is one.

Brian Knobbs finds The Dog in the locker room drinking out of a toilet and whips him with a leather belt.

"Screamin'" Norman Smiley beats The Dog with the Norman Conquest. When the match begins, The Dog goes after referee Scott Dickinson while The Demon shows up and attacks Brian Knobbs. Lane and Rave show up and attack The Demon, then Smiley gets the easy win with the Norman Conquest. After the match, The Dog continues to go after Silverman, and Norman gets The Dog in the Big Wiggle. The Dog then chases Norman all the way to the back, then Brian Knobbs gets on the microphone and says he is the true Hardcore Champion and the hardcore icon of WCW, and he came here to fight somebody, not to watch The Dog chew holes in Smiley. He issues an open challenge to a hardcore match to anyone in the back, and that challenge is quickly answered by Terry Funk, who is seen backstage saying "Hardcore my ass! I'll show him hardcore!"

Backstage, "Screamin' Norman Smiley is being chased around by The Dog.

Terry Funk beats Brian Knobbs in a hardcore match. During the match, Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias show up (with Shane Helms having suffered a broken nose), and after they fight Knobbs off, they get Funk back in the ring to help him get the pinfall before drop kicking him back out of the ring so they can dance. Knobbs then clotheslines both of them from behind, then Funk gets back in the ring and hits both Karagias and Moore in the face with a raw chicken. Knobbs and Funk then beat up Karagias and Moore, then Dustin Rhodes comes out of the crowd with a bullrope and cowbell and beats Funk up with it as Knobbs chases Karagias and Moore to the back.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett tells The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris) that he will be picking his spots tonight during The Harris Boys' tag team match.

Fit Finley tells Vampiro that this Sunday at Uncensored, they will fight all over the arena and give him a swirly in a stall in the men's bathroom.

Sid Vicious and Vampiro beat The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris).

Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund reports that Hulk Hogan and Curt Hennig are getting ready for their match against The Total Package and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and that he will be interviewing all four men shortly.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and The Total Package. The Total Package says "the coward" Sting is not here; therefore, Curt Hennig incurs his wrath and he will break his other arm. Flair says he has been traveling with The Total Package, and tonight might as well be Uncensored for Hulk Hogan.

Before the next match, Disco Inferno tells The Mamalukes (Johnny The Bull and Big Vito) to wait for his cue, then heads to the ring. The Mamalukes are then immediately attacked by The Harris Boys (Ron and Don Harris), unbeknownst to Disco. J. Biggs then guests on commentary for the next match. Disco then tells J. Biggs to pick the best two out of the three members of Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray, Big T, Cash) so The Mamalukes can put the tag team titles on the line. When The Mamalukes do not show up, Disco tries to get the night off, but Big T and Cash keep Disco from leaving the ring, leading to an impromptu match between Disco and Stevie Ray.

Stevie Ray beats Disco Inferno. During the match, Disco keeps calling for The Mamalukes (Johnny The Bull and Big Vito) to come to the ring to no avail.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Jimmy Hart, Hulk Hogan and Curt Hennig backstage. Hennig and Hulk will be part of the lumberjacks in the Cast Match between The Total Package and Sting at Uncensored. Hennig asks who would have thought that he and Hulk Hogan would team together, and says this is the greatest thing in wrestling history. Hogan asks the same question, but says it makes a lot of sense and that it is Uncensored tonight after everyone in their tag team match is let loose.

Team Package (The Total Package and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair) beat Hulk Hogan and Curt Hennig by disqualification. During the match, Miss Elizabeth hands The Total Package a baseball bat, and The Total Package smacks Hennig and Jimmy Hart with the bat as the referee is not looking. Hogan fights Team Package off, and takes off his weight belt as he does. Referee Mickey Jay tries to take it away from Hogan only to get shoved into the orner by Hogan, which ends the match. After the match, Miss Elizabeth hits Hogan in the back of the knee with the baseball bat, then Team Package stomps Hogan until the lights go out. As they are out, Vampiro comes out and fights Team Vampiro, then Sting shows up. The lights come back on, and Sting starts beating up The Total Package in the ring as Vampiro chases Flair to the back.
