Road Wild 1999 - The Results

Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr. and Eddie Guerrero beat The Dead Pool (Vampiro, Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope).

Before the next match, Kanyon says the crowd looks like they cannot afford cable TV, and refuses to do his "Who's better than Kanyon?" phrase since there is no way the crowd here is as dumb as they look.

Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) beat The Jersey Triad (Kanyon and Bam Bam Bigelow) to become the WCW World Tag Team Champions for the eighth time in five years after Booker T sends Bam Bam Bigelow into Diamond Dallas Page, who is standing on the apron after having just ran to the ring.

Before the next match, Perry Saturn says they aren't WCW's "Mystery Men" and do not care about The West Texas Rednecks (Curt Hennig, Barry Windham, Kendall Windham, Bobby Duncum Jr.) or Chad Brock, and that they are only here to get a few things straight. He then tells The West Texas Rednecks to decide among themselves who gets in the ring to face them.

The Revolution (Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko, Shane Douglas) beat The West Texas Rednecks (Curt Hennig, Barry Windham, Bobby Duncum Jr.) despite the interference of Kendall Windham with Bobby Duncum Jr.'s cowbell and lasso. After the match, The Revolution clean house and send The West Texas Rednecks out of the ring.

Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller tells the crowd to stop revving their motorcycles up, and says he will whup every single redneck out here. When Buff Bagwell shows up, The Cat takes the microphone away from him and says that all the rednecks in the crowd make him sick. Bagwell takes the mic back, but The Cat takes it back again and says everyone here makes him sick. Onoo has to hold The Cat back from trying to whup the crowd, as does head of WCW security Doug Dellinger. Finally, Bagwell has the microphone one more time, and he says that the Sturgis, South Dakota crowd agrees that The Cat is not a crowd favorite and that he might as well kiss their collective ass.

Buff Bagwell beats Ernest "The Cat" Miller after Bagwell whips he Cat into Sonny Onoo - who is on the apron - before beating Miller with an inside cradle. The Cat attacks Bagwell after the match, and Onoo proceeds to mock Bagwell before leaving.

Before the next match, Diamond Dallas Page apologizes to "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit for making fun of his mother. He says that he knows he loves his mother, but so can anybody at $2.99 a minute. He tells Benoit to shine up the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship and bring it to the ring.

Despite interference from Bam Bam Bigelow and Kanyon and the use of referee Charles Robinson's belt as a weapon, "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Diamond Dallas Page. The rest of The Revolution (Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko, Shane Douglas), who have been watching the match from backstage, celebrate with Benoit after the match.

Chad Damiani of WCW.com and Tim Edmonson, President of American Ironhorse, awards Darnell Potter of Cleveland, Ohio with an American Ironhorse motorcycle.

Sid Vicious beats Sting.

Despite Rick Steiner using his own knee brace against him, Goldberg beats Rick Steiner.

Before the next match, Dennis Rodman says "Macho Man" Randy Savage came all this way to kick his ass, and asks where "his bitch" Gorgeous George is. Savage tells Rodman that tonight, he is his bitch, and he invites everyone in the audience to fight for sloppy seconds. Rodman says he "does his shit outside," then Savage and Rodman go at it as soon as Rodman gets in the ring.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage beats Dennis Rodman. During the match, Dennis Rodman attacks referee Billy Silverman after confronting him over a two-count, and elbow drops him before Silverman rolls out of the ring. Silverman is replaced by Mickey Jay. Later on in the match, Savage clubs new WCW Magazine editor Ross Foreman with a forearm and uses his camera as a weapon. After a two-count, Savage punches out Mickey Jay before tossing him out of the ring. Mickey Jay is almost replaced by Scott Dickinson, but Savage also punches him out and knocks him out of the ring. He gets replaced by Johnny Boone. Shortly afterwards, Savage tosses Rodman in a port-a-potty backstage and topples it over before both men head to the back in the ring, where Johnny Boone gets knocked out after a clothesline from the middle rope from Rodman. After this, Gorgeous George shows up and hands Savage a chain, which Savage wraps around his right hand as Johnny Boone is replaced by Nick Patrick (who was seen waiting in the wing during the port-a-potty debacle). After a low blow from Gorgeous George, Savage hits Rodman with a right fist with a chain wrapped around it to get the win.

Hulk Hogan retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Kevin Nash to save his career and end Nash's as per pre-match stipulation.
