It is announced that before the show, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and The Giant are all on probation as per World Championship Wrestling Executive Committee.
Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The American Males (Marcus Alexander Bagwell and Scotty Riggs). During the match, Col. Robert Palmer gives Sister Sherri a gift: a ring. The two of them hug and kiss, then leave. Also during the match, Booker T has a brief argument with Phoenix Suns player A.C. Green, who is in the front row. After the match, event staff have to keep Green away from Booker T.
"Mean' Gene Okerlund interviews Sting and Lex Luger. Sting has called Luger over here tonight because he wanted him without Jimmy Hart by his side and because he stands a good chance of being the new WCW World Heavyweight Championship. But at Starrcade, Sting is involved in a triangle match and momentum is going his way, and that he won't make it easy for thim to be world champ if he wins that match. Luger says he will become the next world champ tonight, and says he will also win that triangle match.
Sting beats Kurasawa with the Scorpion Death Lock.
This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Disco Inferno vs. Johnny B. Badd! Flyin' Brian and Chris Benoit in action! Hugh Morrus! Big Bubba vs. Eddie Guerrero!
The Giant beats Scott "Flash" Norton. During the match, Norton is able to lift The Giant up for an atomic drop, but it's still not enough to beat him.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the ring. Flair shows up along with Phoenix Suns player Charles Barkley, who says he could never measure up to Flair. Flair makes it clear they'll be stylin' and profilin' down the streets of Phoenix, and Barkley says Phoenix has the best basketball fans and the best wrestling fans. He tells Hulk Hogan, Sting, Lex Luger and Randy Savage not to put a hand on him, or else Barkley might leave the NBA and become a Horseman full-time.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Lex Luger is thrown out after Randy Savage sends Lex Luger into the turnbuckle Luger exposed, knocking Luger into the ref and knocking the ref out of the ring. Ric Flair shows up and attacks Savage, then walks backwards to the ramp only to run into Hulk Hogan. Hogan forces Flair back into the ring and fights him, then stops Luger's pinfall by pushing the ref away before getting his hands on Jimmy Hart. Hogan sends Hart and Luger into each other, but when Hogan is about to hit Luger again, Sting gets in the way and Hogan hits him instead. Sting and Hogan argue, and Savage have to break them up.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Hulk Hogan, Sting and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Hogan wants to know what's going on with him and Luger, and wants to know which side he's on. Sting tells Hogan he's on his side, and says that Lex Luger is his best friend and that he's trying to straighten him out concerning his business with Jimmy Hart. Hogan reminds Sting that it was Savage who warned them about Luger in the first place, but Sting still wants to give Luger an opportunity. Sting still tells Hogan he has his back next week, and Hogan says it's still on as long as he keeps Lex Luger out of his face. Sting says he will do that for him as well as Savage.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for October 23, 1995
"Macho Man" Randy Savage beats Kurasawa.
After the first match, the arena goes black. We hear from The Master, who says the insurance policy for The Dungeon of Doom (The Taskmaster, The Giant, The Zodiac, The Shark, Kamala) has been delivered from the Himalayas in a 13-foot-tall block of ice: The Yeti. "Mean" Gene interviews The Taskmaster and The Giant, who says that Hulk Hogan dresses in black because he now walks in the shadow of madness and says that there's no goodness left in Hogan. The Giant says he will take the last life of the "red-and-white Bengal Tiger" Hulk Hogan and take the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Hulk Hogan at the entrance ramp. Hulk knows it's the eleventh hour and that he might be boxed in, but he isn't afraid of The Dungeon of Doom (The Taskmaster, The Giant, Kamala, The Shark, The Zodiac, The Yeti). He says that after Halloween Havoc, he just might hang on to the black gloves as everyone knows what a man with black gloves and a black bandanna is capable of. As he takes his neck brace off and throws it down, he says he won't lick his wounds anymore and call his "main man" Tony Carlini at the California Connection and get a big black Harley-Davidson to drag The Giant around with. As for Sting, "Macho Man' Randy Savage and Lex Luger, he tells them all to get in line and decide who's bad enough so he can beat them all one at a time.
This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: The American Males (Marcus Alexander Bagwell and Scotty Riggs) defend the WCW World Tag Team Championships aganst Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray)! Lex Luger vs. The Shark! Hulk Hogan makes an appearance!
Before the next match, it is revealed that "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright is on crutches, as he could not get a doctor's release for his injured knee. He is replaced in the match by Mr. J.L. as he watches the match from ringside.
Mr J.L. and Eddie Guerrero beat Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko when "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright trips up Malenko with one of his crutches while the ref's back is turned. During the match, it is announced that Scott "Flash" Norton is fighting with The Shark backstage, weeks after The Shark inadvertently cost Norton a match. Bunkhouse Buck and "Dirty" Dick Slater try to hold Norton back as The Zodiac tries to keep The Shark at arm's length. After the match, Flyin' Brian rushes out beats up Eddie Guerrero for absolutely no reason, hitting him with a DDT on the concrete floor near the entrance ramp.
Sting and Lex Luger beat Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray). During the match, Sister Sherri is seen looking at Polaroid pictures of herself and Col. Robert Parker. After the match, The Taskmaster and The Giant show up, and The Giant choke slams both Sting and Luger. "Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up to confront The Giant as The Taskmaster runs away, and Hulk Hogan shows up soon after "Macho Man" Randy Savage gets out of the ring so Hulk can confront The Giant himself. Hulk is able to land only two right hands before The Giant lands a clubbing blow, but that only gets Hogan to Hulk up and fight back. The Taskmaster and the rest of the Dungeon of Doom (The Zodiac and The Shark) show up, but Hulk and Savage clean house before a huge rumbling sound can be heard. The block of ice at the entrance ramp breaks, and a giant mummy pops out of it in the final few seconds of the show.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for September 25, 1995
"Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright beats Disco Inferno in the latter's Nitro debut by reversing a neckbreaker into a surprise backslide pin.
Jimmy Hart says The Taskmaster is sowing the evil seeds to turn the Hulkamaniacs against Hulk Hogan, but Hulk Hogan says that he's back on track and he's coming for The Giant. He's building a bigger, stronger, better Hulkamania monster truck, and he plans to drag him around the ring to embarrass him, then put the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a match against him and put him in his place once and for all.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "Macho Man" Randy Savage in the ring. Savage knows Luger wants to talk to him, and Luger shows up like clockwork. Luger thinks Savage has a severe lack of mutual respect, as Savage has had a problem with him since day one. Luger then challenges Savage to a match next week. Savage is up for it, and puts his shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at the ring, and says that if he can't beat Savage, he'll leave WCW. Savage says he and Luger have a deal.
Halloween Havoc is live Sunday night, October 29th! Hulk Hogan defends the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against The Giant!
Kurasawa beats Sgt. Craig "Pitbull" Pittman.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and Flyin' Brian, who have been conspiring against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Flyin' Brian makes fun of Flair for wanting one more match against Arn Anderson, and that they will exercise their rights to bear arms, assemble and hospitalize anyone who gets in their path. Anderson says he's known Flair to act a lot of ways in the past, and tells Flair that "if you jump on me, you jump on us." He also calls out Flair for having the audacity to ask "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Sting to be his partner after how he's treated them. Anderson tells Flair that what goes around, comes around, and that it's coming back around for him.
This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Dusty Rhodes debuts as a co-host! Johnny B. Badd vs. Sting for the WCW United States Championship! The American Males (Marcus Alexander Bagwell and Scotty Riggs)! The Taskmaster and The Giant!
The Taskmaster beats "Macho Man" Randy Savage by disqualification when Savage pushes the ref away as he fights off The Zodiac. After the match, Savage goes for an elbow drop from the top rope on both men, but The Taskmaster rolls out of the way. As he does this, The Giant shows up and hits a choke slam on Savage. A few men from the back - including "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright - try to stop The Giant, but to no avail. Lex Luger shows up to give Savage the what for when The Giant grabs Luger and destroys him.
Meng beats Lex Luger after hitting Luger with a spike, unbeknownst to the referee. During the match, it is announced that Hulk Hogan will be on Nitro next week.
Next week: The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs)! Dean Malenko!
