Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for February 6, 2025

Joe Hendry heads to the ring to start tonight's show with a championship concert. Hendry performs a cover of Queen's "We are the Champions," re-tooled as "Hendry is the Champion," to start off. He then sings "Joe Hendry Won The Belt," then predicts that somebody will cut him off. That somebody is Jake Something, who says that the concert is over before announcing that he is taking Hendry up on his offer to be a fighting champion next week. Hendry accepts the challenge, and thus ends the concert.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Masha Slamovich. Masha says she thrives in chaos and looks forward to seeing everyone scramble to see who is next in line for her championship. She then addresses Cora Jade, who says that if she wants to play her own games, then Cora should know that while she draws her X's in lipstick while she draws hers in blood.

"Inevitable" Ace Austin beats Tyson Dupont after avoiding a standing splash and hitting The Fold. After the match, Wes Lee and Tyriek Igwe attack Ace Austin, but The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) chase them out of the ring with metal folding chairs.

We hear from Tessa Blanchard, who says that she will not be in tonight's battle royal because she is "no pendeja" and too smart for that, and says the locker room want to get rid of her because they are threatened by her. She says that she is back and playing by her own rules, and that nobody is going to mess with her because they cannot.

We hear from Steph de Lander, who brags about winning the TNA Digital Media Championship after winning it in the divorce from PCO. We also hear from Mance Warner. Warner says he not only crossed a line, but he kicked in a door. He says that TNA is their home and their gold, and that he will cut down anyone who gets in his way. He says nobody in TNA can stop him, not even Sami Callihan. De Lander says this is their era now, and if Callihan knows what is good for him, he will watch his back.

Cora Jade guests on commentary for the next match. Also, Jazz comes back to TNA for the match. (Jazz is eliminated by Rosemary and Ash by Elegance in the upcoming battle royal.)

Samantha Evans last eliminates Xia Brookside to win a ten-Knockout battle royal to earn a shot at the TNA Knockouts World Championship with help from the distraction by Cora Jade.

Eric Young and The Northern Armory (Judas Icarus and Travis Williams) head to the ring. He says that the fans are looking at "Canadian greatness" and says that The Northern Armory runs TNA. Eric says that "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander quit and left Icarus and Williams out in the cold, and he was not going to stand by. He lists off a bunch of Canadian professional wrestlers and states that Canadian wrestlers have run TNA forever, and says nobody has wrestled more matches, won more championship, or dedicated more time to TNA than him, and says he is "the one." Eric says that he is above everyone in TNA, including the fans, and brags about eliminating Josh Alexander forever, stating that a great army needs a great leader, then Steve Maclin shows up. Maclin says he did not expect this, and asks Eric why he could not admit this was the plan all along. He says he does not put his trust in many people and that Eric was one of the first in the company that he did that with, and went to war with The Northern Armory with him. Maclin asks Eric if he is just going to wash his hands of everything, especially after they tried to end their career, and even stated that he shared things with Eric that he has shared with nobody else, then says Eric has crossed a line. Maclin says that since Eric made his choice without, he will make his, and as long as The Northern Armory is with him, he is not. Suddenly, Josh Alexander shows up. Maclin stares down Alexander before heading to the back, then Alexander tells Eric Young that he is still standing. He says his time in TNA is coming to an end soon, yet he loves TNA as it means everything to him. He then decides it is better to show how much he loves TNA, then says he has been granted his "final wish" by Director of Authority Santino Marella and that nobody has shed more blood for TNA than him. Next week, he and Eric Young will face off one last time for his last match, and he will wrestle with everything in his heart to show how much TNA means to him, and he will enjoy kicking Eric Young's ass.

Backstage, Sami Callihan angrily looks for Mance Warner, even getting in an argument with Frankie Kazarian in the process. Callihan leaves, and Kazarian notice Director of Authority Santino Marella. Santino says he will sort things out.

Leon Slater and The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat The System (Eddie Edwards, Moose, JDC) in a six-man tag match.

Backstage, Mustafa Ali runs into The Good Hands (John Skyler and Jason Hotch) as they are arguing and says that if anyone is yelling, nobody is listening, and says that The Good Hands could become "great hands." He then runs into Tasha Steelz, who expresses condolences for being turned on by Alisha Edwards, saying she does not deserve that and that she is a good person. He says they should put a stop to the constant backstabbing. He then says that they should make sure nobody feels like this again, then he takes her hand and they both walk off.

Mike Santana beats Matt Cardona.

NXT-TNA Liaison Arianna Grace guests on commentary for the next match.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom retain the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships against "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth and "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth after Ryan pulls out a chair and Nic stops him from using it, allowing Frazer to drop kick Nic into Ryan and get the win.

Here are the must-see moments from tonight's show!
