Generation NXT - NXT recap for February 8, 2017

SAnitY (Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe) beat The Bollywood Boyz (Harv and Gurv Sihra) with Killian Dane beating The Bollywood Boyz single-handedly. After the match, Nikki Cross says she wants Asuka, and Eric Young says SAnitY (Young, Cross, Dain, Wolfe) puts those who have not yet found their place in their place before saying that he humbled "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger and that he belongs with them.

Liv Moegan beats Billie Kay after pushing Billie into Peyton Royce, knocking Peyton off the apron before beating Billie with a bridge pin.

"The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger says he lost to a numbers game at TakeOver. He is then suddenly attacked by SAnitY (Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe). No Way Jose and Roderick Strong rush in to make the save, and SAnitY is forced to retreat.

General Manager William Regal announces that next week, Tyler Bate will defend the WWE United Kingdom Championship against Trent Seven. Suddenly, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce barge in and demand a rematch against Liv Morgan. Regal obliges, making it a tag match between Billie and Peyton against Liv Morgan and a tag team partner of her choosing.

It is announced that "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura does not have a tear in his knee and will not require surgery after the events of NXT TakeOver: San Antonio.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) beat the team of Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic, who are now known as Heavy Machinery. After the match, The Revival remind everyone how successful they have been and say that DIY should never have been tag team champs as they were demolished at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio. At NXT TakeOver: Miami, they plan to prove that The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) are nothing but a footnote to them. The Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering show up, and The Revival hightail it out of the ring. As The Authors leave, however, they are ambushed by The Revival, who then run.

Bobby Roode shows up for his glorious championship celebration. He tells everyone "I told you so!" as he shows off the NXT Championship and brags about beating "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura, saying that his head is still attached to his shoulders and that Nakamura didn't get the job done before calling his championship win the single greatest moment in NXT history as he considers himself a real champion. He says that NXT is now his, and it will be simply glorious.
