Fright Night Dynamite - Dynamite recap for October 28, 2026

The Last Outfit ("Switchblade" Jay White and David Finlay), now known as "The Cut," beat The Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia) after Clark Connors is able to hit Moxley with a Spear behind the referee's back following an interference attempt by Ace Austin. After the match, the rest of The Cut (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) and The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli) show up to brawl with one another, and The Death Riders end up getting the upper hand. Jon Moxley says that they are just getting started, and challenges The Cut to Anarchy in the Arena at Full Gear.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher beats "Jungle" Jack Perry. After the match, Fletcher - on the shoulders of Mark Davis and Jake Doyle - brags about decimating someone who is supposed to be a pillar of AEW after beating a legend as well as a current World Champion last week. He says Davis and Doyle will become tag team champions at Full Gear, then says he has beaten Ospreay before and he will beat him again before telling Ospreay to put the World Championship on the line, for he is the uncrowned World Champion and nobody can touch him right now. Fletcher says that he is the best, and that at Full Gear, he will prove it.

We see a video package for Blood and Guts narrated by "The Iceman" Dean Malenko.

Renee Paquette interviews The New Level (Kofi and "Awesome" Austin Creed) in the ring. Austin Creed addresses Swerve Strickland wanting a Texas Death Match last week, and Kofi says that they came to face the best, and while they stand by that statement, they also want to go home to their families. Neither Kofi or Creed are not looking forward to a Texas Death Match and that they do not hate their opponents that much, and admit that they do like "Hangman" Adam Page and Brodido (Brody King and Bandido). They also like the fact that they and Swerve will be walking out as the AEW World Trios Champions, then Brody King shows up angry wanting to know where Bandido is. Creed says he has no clue, and Hangman has to show up and calm Brody down. Hangman says he does not want anyone involved in a Texas Death Match like he has been, as he lost years of his life and he was nearly ruined by it. He says that Swerve will eventually show The New Level who he really is, and pleads to Brody not to give Swerve what he wants. Prince Nana shows up and points at the video screen, which shows Swerve Strickland with Bandido's mask in his hand. Blood is dripping from the mask and all over Bandido's body, and Bandido's face is covered by his hair. Swerve demands the match that he asked for, and states that he will not ask again before placing the bloodied mask on Bandido's head. Brody King is seething, and Hangman has to keep him away from The New Level. Hangman tells Brody not to give Swerve what he wants, as The New Level did not know. Creed says that what Swerve wants has nothing to do with them before Brody King runs to the back.

We hear from The Don Callis Family. Don Callis says that Will Ospreay is shaking in his boots after what Kyle Fletcher did tonight, and that Mark Davis and Jake Doyle will take the tag titles and break The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada mocks Adam Copeland's head injury, then Callis says that Steven Borden put his trust in a street urchin and would have been much better off listening to him. He then says that "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander will end Darby Allin once and for all. Alexander hopes Darby Allin has been studying, as he will take the TNT Championship before The Don Callis Family ends his and Borden's careers. Don Callis then says that his team has something the other does not: family.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) beat FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) in Match 3 of the best-of-five series to lead two matches to one (2-1) following a sit-down pin from Shelley to Harwood. After the match, FTR shakes The Motor City Machine Guns' hands only for Stokely Hathaway to throw powder into the Machine Guns' eyes, allowing FTR to beat the Machine Guns up.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Persephone, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Queen Aminata. Britt says Aminata's night will end in disappointment. Aminata dares Persephone to keep underestimating her, as he knows who she is and what she is capable of. She says she will take this opportunity to knock her head off and become TBS Champion. Persephone says Aminata has no crown while she has two, and that Aminata will be begging for mercy while she beats her up again.

Tommaso Ciampa heads to the ring. Ciampa says he is the next AEW National Champion, which he should have won at WrestleDream had Andrade el Idolo not cheated. He says that he attacked him for that last week, which is why Andrade is not here tonight. Ciampa says he is the gift that keeps on giving and that on Collision, he will take on St. Louis, Missouri's hometown hero Matt Sydal, and hopes Andrade is watching because he wants his championship rematch and he is the best signing in the history of AEW. As Ciampa states that he is tired of waiting, Ilja Dragunov shows up and questions Ciampa's recent claims by deciding to put them to the test right now. Ciampa teases fighting Dragunov, then tells him "Not tonight...jackass."

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong). O'Reilly says they are not done with The Cut ("Switchblade" Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin, Clark Connors, David Finlay) by a long shot. and Strong says he is sick of being laid out and that the three of them will beat any three members of The Cut on Collision.

Jon Moxley guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Problem" Marina Shafir beats Rachel Armstrong by submission with Mother's Milk. After the match, Marina calls out Mercedes Moné, telling her not to be a pussy before Mercedes shows up and says Marina does not know who she is, saying she has more balls than all of The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia). She tells Marina not to confused being dangerous with being ready for her, and when Mercedes slaps Marina to see if she is ready, Marina takes the slap and tells Mercedes to do better. Marina takes multiple slaps, then knocks down Mercedes before Clark Connors and David Finlay suddenly attack and choke out Jon Moxley at the announce desk. This leads to another brawl between The Cut ("Switchblade" Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin, Clark Connors, David Finlay) and The Death Riders. Connors clocks Gabe Kidd with a tire iron, and this time around, The Cut get the upper hand. All of a sudden, Claudio Castagnoli shows up with a trash can and briefly becomes a one-man army before he too is outnumbered. Juice Robinson hits Claudio with a chair, which has no effect, and Claudio forces him out of the ring before catching Connors' tire iron and tossing Connors out and blocking Jay White's low blow. It takes two shillelagh shots to the head from David Finlay to drop Claudio, and Finlay hits Claudio with a third shillelagh shot to the back of the head as The Cut holds Claudio up. The Cut then gangs up on Jon Moxley as Switchblade hits Claudio with Blade Runner on some exposed concrete floor on the outside.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

Darby Allin retains the TNT Championship against "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander after reversing the Sharpshooter into a pinfall attempt. This happens after Trent Beretta and Rocky "Azucar" Romero show up to get involved only to be attacked by a man in a clown mask, who is revealed to be none other than Steven Borden.

Backstage, we hear from Darby Allin and Steven Borden. Borden says he does not trust Don Callis and that he is teaming with The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) at Blood and Guts to take The Don Callis Family out. He says that he wanted this and that he knows what it is stake, and says that two rings and one cage is nothing new to the Borden family. He says his team has a living legend, the current world champion, the most prolific tag team in wrestling and a friend he trusts a lot more than Callis. Darby says he does not want to talk; he wants blood and he wants guts.

Queen Aminata beats Persephone to become the TBS Champion despite Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. hitting her with the TBS Championship behind referee Aubrey Edwards' back. After the match, the women's locker room celebrates with Queen Aminata to end the show.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for October 27, 2026

Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno beat The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) to advance to the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic after Moreno is able to counter a double-team attack. During the match, it is announced that NXT will be live on Wednesday next week at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central. (This is due to coverage of the midterm elections on The CW in the United States. This also happened during the 2024 United States Presidential Election.) Also during the match, we see phone camera footage of Grayson Waller outside of Tony D'Angelo's home.

Backstage, an angry Tony D'Angelo meets with General Manager Robert Stone, threatening to beat up Grayson Waller if he so much as lays a hand on his family. Robert Stone wants a camera crew to follow D'Angelo.

We hear from Cruz Montana, who says that the worst part about last week was what he felt, and that while security had him pinned him, it reminded him of his past self as "the other guy" who he spent years trying to keep buried away. He states that Dion Lennox brought that out of him, and when he gets his hands on Lennox, nobody will be able to pull him away. We then realize that Montana is looking into a mirror as he states that Lennox made a mistake involving his family. Montana then proclaims that his past will become Lennox's future.

Chantel Monroe beats Lizzy Rain after grabbing the ropes for leverage during a counter in a roll-up, which the referee never sees.

On this week's NXT Spotlight, Izzi Dame is shocked that Zaria dropped her match so quickly and states that all Zaria knows how to do is hide, and when she could not be popular, she became a monster in facepaint and a jacket. She also says that Sol Ruca broke down all of Zaria's walls, then says that Zaria is hiding again. She says she will make Zaria face her demons, and when they take her apart from the inside out, that is when she will move in.

"Super" Sean Legacy beats Saquon Shugars.

Tony D'Angelo makes it home and gets a phone call from Grayson Waller, and finds out that Waller is elsewhere. D'Angelo tells Waller to stay put so he can beat his ass.

We hear from Kam Hendrix, who is on a basketball court. Kam Hendrix performs multiple successful basketball shots, some of them with one hand and some of them behind the back, as he says that he is the future.

Myles Borne and Tavion Heights are in the ring, with security guards standing between them. The Halloween Havoc wheel is revealed. Myles says security is here to protect Tavion, but Tavion says Myles will not do anything until he turns his back. He says that Myles proved that he only truly cared about himself when he showed his true colors, then calls Myles an arrogant, self-righteous, backstabbing bitch who wants to point fingers at others for his own shortcomings. Myles says he knows what he is capable of on his own, and says that he got a lot out of ditching Tavion the first time and that Tavion has not been able to do anything on his own in NXT and had to latch onto him for a championship. He says that Tavion is throwing stones in a glass house after costing him after he let him have his one achievement, and says he had to get rid of him. Tavion says that he has been around Myles so long and that he has forgotten who he is and that it is time to remind everyone.Myles says Tavion is clinging onto his days in the Olympics like he clings onto him, but Tavion says that he will be giving Myles an ass-whupping he can hear before the Halloween Havoc wheel is spun by the druids at the order of none other than Danhausen. The wheel stops on "Weapons Wild Match."

Backstage, Dion Lennox thanks Cutler James and Osiris Griffin for their help last week. As Lennox says that Cruz Montana cannot control himself, General Manager Robert Stone shows up and says that if Lennox wants a match with Montana, it will have to be unsanctioned. Lennox says he does not care what kind of match it is as long as he sends Cruz Montana back to rock bottom.

Backstage, Tony D'Angelo looks for Grayson Waller at the Italian restaurant. He finds out that Grayson has left but has left a note which tells him "Meet me where it all started. - The Champ."

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger beat The Wagner Brothers (El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno) to advance to face Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Dr. Wagner Jr. is seen in the front row before the match. During the match, The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood) finds out from General Manager Robert Stone that they will not be able to interfere in tonight's NXT North American Championship match.

In backstage footage from Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce tells Kelani Jordan he will be watching her match at Halloween Havoc. Iyo Sky suddenly shows up and notes that Kelani is different now, and Kelani says that when she reaches the main roster, she will walk all over the women's division. Backstage, Kendal Grey tells Wren Sinclair that Kelani Jordan is dead after last week, and Sinclair says that Kelani is on borrowed time and that she will be taking the NXT Women's Championship from her.

Zilla Fatu is interviewed by Sarah Schreiber on the stage. Zilla says that Birthright may have given him problems since he showed up, he will get back his get back, because it is get back season, then Arianna Grace shows up and says that Zilla is nothing without his last name. All of a sudden, one of the druids attacks Zilla with a shovel, and the druids prove to be none other than Birthright (Lexis King, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, Uriah Connors), who further hurt Zilla's left hand with the shovel.

We hear from Shiloh Hill, who has continued to experiment on the mists, including the black mist. He has been trying to figure out the chemical make-ups of the mists, but he has mastered spitting the orange and black mists. He dares Naraku to bring whatever concoctions he wants, as he knows where he will be aiming his.

Jackson Drake retains the NXT North American Championship against EK Prosper after Prosper fends off Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes only to be shoved off the top rope by Kam Hendrix as he has the match won.

Backstage, Zaria says Izzi Dame knows nothing about her and that everyone will see what she will do to her at Halloween Havoc.

Grayson Waller heads to the ring. Grayson says he has waited a long time for this and that he has always been one step ahead of Tony D'Angelo, saying he has gotten hungrier while D'Angelo has gotten soft. He says that he wanted this, and states that D'Angelo's future runs through him. He says that the only thing that matters is that he is NXT Champion and that there is nothing anybody can do about it, and that D'Angelo is just another small fish taking the bait as he states that nobody can touch him right now. Tony D'Angelo pulls back up at the Performance Center, and Grayson Waller runs right out to attack him. Referees and security have to restore order as the show comes to an end.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 26, 2026

General Manager Adam Pearce is in the ring to start tonight's show. He announces that he was informed earlier this afternoon that while Stephanie Vaquer is not medically cleared to compete, Becky Lynch is still here, and she will face Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship tonight. As Pearce is about to make other announcements, Sami Zayn suddenly shows up, telling him that if he wanted promotional content for Crown Jewel, he could have gotten Roman Reigns to also show up. He says that while Roman is able to get to skip Fresno, California, he cannot, and if Pearce will not give him television time, he will take it right now. He tells Pearce to get out of the ring, which Pearce does. Sami says that even if one is a world champion, one can still be the most underrated wrestler in the company, and that he is disappointed that the fans do not "know ball" and do not know someone great when they see them. He says the fans have to be spoonfed and told who is great, and that wrestlers like Trick Williams and Roman Reigns have to tell the fans that they are great, and that the fans lap it up. Sami says he does not like to brag, but maybe he should, even though there is not a lot he likes to brag about other than the fact that no one has had to do more with less and go through crap to come out clean on the other side than him. He also says that no one has been buried deep in the dirt and come out of it on the other side like him, and while he could brag about it, he does not. He also says The Bloodline has never been as good as when he came around and took the business to new heights when he did. Sami says that everyone is watching on Netflix because of him and that the executives should be thanking him instead of Reigns, and while he could brag about that, he does not. Sami also says that nobody is versatile and able to put the pieces together like him, and that everyone should be acknowledging him. He says that if Reigns is focused on 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, Carmelo Hayes, Jaida Parker), he will make a mistake, even though Reigns knows the threat that he poses. He also mentions that he deals with the disrespect that he receives from so many wrestlers, and as he mentions the disrespect he perceives from Je'Von Evans, Je'Von suddenly shows up. Je'Von tells Sami to "please shut up" after he complains about people gunning for him every week, and since he has his gear on and he has heard his name, he wants Sami to say what he has to say about him to his face. Sami says there is no world in which Je'Von should ever be interrupting him, not now or ever, but Je'Von says Sami is "talking crazy" and thinks that he is the man, then tells Sami to stop talking before he gives him something to talk about. He then says Reigns is right in saying Sami Zayn does not have to Crown Jewel with the WWE Championship, as he would love to take it and face Roman Reigns. Sami says he is disappointed him despite being a fan of his and reminding him of himself. Sami says Je'Von is nowhere close to his orbit and to come back in five to eight years when he has hit that potential and is anywhere near as good as he is, and until he does, he does not have the right to look him in the eye. As Sami Zayn leaves, General Manager Adam Pearce shows up and says he will give Sami all the television time and the chance to earn respect, by putting him in a match with Je'Von for the Undisputed WWE Championship that happens right now.

Sami Zayn retains the Undisputed WWE Championship against Je'Von Evans. During the match, Penta arrives as Sami takes a breather outside of the ring. Sami runs back into the ring and into a cutter by Je'Von, but as Penta is about to get in the ring, he is attacked by Bron Breakker. Je'Von takes Breakker out with a pescado, then gets back in the ring only for Sami Zayn to hit the Exploder Suplex followed by the Helluva Kick to win and retain. After the match, Bron Breakker gets in the ring and confronts Sami Zayn, who leaves the ring and allows Breakker to attack Je'Von. Penta gets in the ring and beats up Breakker, but he is ambushed by "Big" Bronson Reed. Logan Paul shows up and Breakker hits Penta with a Spear. Breakker then gets Penta in position for a Tsunami before hitting Penta with another Spear and allowing Bronson to hit Penta with another Tsunami.

Next week's Raw from Brooklyn, New York will have a special start time of 6 PM Eastern/3 PM Pacific.

Backstage, Liv Morgan meets with the rest of The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio), saying her title is suddenly on the line. Raquel says she will deal with Iyo Sky, and Roxanne says they will show everyone not to mess with The Judgment Day. Liv says there is something in the air and that everyone is against her, but she will beat Becky Lynch.

Backstage, Penta and Je'Von Evans are in medical. They will be okay, but Je'Von says he is not finished and Penta says that he and Je'Von want The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory) for the World Tag Team Championships. General Manager Adam Pearce gives them the match for Crown Jewel.

Kelani Jordan is seen in the front row.

Bayley beats Lyra Valkyria in a no-disqualification match by submission with a crossface aided with a shinai.

We hear from Iyo Sky, who says Raquel Rodriguez talks like she runs Raw and can do whatever she wants because she is in The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio). Last time they were in the ring, she pinned her, but Raquel does not get the message. She says she will remind her tonight of who she is when she beats her again and show her what happens when she disrespects her.

We hear from 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, Carmelo Hayes, Jaida Parker). Royce Keys says that The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu) was back together until he ran the play, and that next week, it will just be him and Solo Sikoa and that he will do to him what he did to The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso).

Iyo Sky beats Raquel Rodriguez after countering the Tejana Bomb with a roll-up. After the match, Iyo Sky is attacked from behind by Roxanne Perez, and she and Raquel soon beat Iyo up.

Backstage, we hear from The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa). Solo Sikoa says that if Royce Keys wants to call him out in front of his family, then he accepts his challenge. He says that Royce Keys is not safe from him, and that he will know that The Bloodline not only runs this place, but they mean it, and that nobody is safe from them.

Shiloh Hill is seen in the front row.

"All Ego" Ethan Page and Big Cass beat Dragon Lee and Chad Gable.

We hear from Becky Lynch, who says that Stephanie Vaquer is not here and that she is taking the Women's World Championship back from Becky Lynch. She says Liv cannot beat her in a fair fight, then says she had hopes and expectations for her to improve the business instead of stunt its growth. She says that when it comes to flashes in the pan, she is a flame, and that she is taking the Women's World title back.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews The Vision (Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul). Logan Paul says that Je'Von Evans and Penta challenging them is the dumbest thing they can even do and that Penta is dumber than he looks. "Big" Bronson Reed says Je'Von and Penta have invited themselves to "Tsunami after Spear." Bron Breakker accepts their challenge.

Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship ends in a no-contest when Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez get physically involved in the match after initially showing up to save Liv Morgan from the Dis-Arm-Her. Liv Morgan retains the Women's World Championship. After the match, Raquel hits Becky with the Tejana Bomb, then Chelea Green runs into the ring and makes quick work of Roxanne before outsmarting Raquel only to fall victim to a Liv Morgan Codebreaker. Iyo Sky shows up and evens the numbers game, and Liv hits the Un-Pretty-Her on Liv Morgan. Roxanne takes out Chelsea, then Tiffany Stratton shows up with a referee to cash in on Liv Morgan. Tiffany hits the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Liv, then cashes in only for "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio to suddenly show up and carry Liv out of the ring to end the show.

The Bang Bang Gang ("Switchblade" Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin) and The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay) head to the ring to start tonight's show. Jay White says the fans should not be booing them, then says that they are all going to need a new name. He then says to forget about it, as to get to the top, one needs not only a family, but an outfit, and they are the last outfit. He then says that after Wednesday, nobody will ever forget that his and David Finlay's paths will forever be intertwined, and while he can not trust him, he knows that working together is better than not. Jay White then says that Clark Connors was always cool with him, then tells the fans to get used to seeing a downed Jon Moxley being tended to by "The Problem" Marina Shafir, who he says should lighten up, and that thanks to him, she and Roderick Strong can ride death together. He also says that he will not let The Conglomeration keep dragging him down, as impressive as Orange Cassidy is, and says that while the fans love Jon Moxley, they will be accustomed to him lying on the mat and begging for mercy. Jay White calls Jon Moxley a fragile shell of what the fans expect him to be, and that he will cower and quiver when confronted with his fate as he takes the Continental Championship from him while "The Last Outfit" leaves The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, Gabe Kidd, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) laying. Ospreay looks forward to Blood & Guts against The Don Callis Family, saying that nobody on his team will submit or surrender, especially Copeland, who is going out on his own teams as Ospreay tells him he needs the Adam Copeland of old. Copeland says that if The Don Callis Family want blood and guts, he will beat them so badly their children will feel it.

The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) beat Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, Trish Adora) in an eight-person mixed tag match by submission with a Brutalizer from Shafir to Adora. After the match, Moxley addresses "Switchblade" Jay White, saying Switchblade thought he started a war when The Death Riders has been at war with everyone. He says Switchblade made a good move, and now it is his move.

Trent Beretta and Rocky "Azucar" Romero guest on commentary for the next match.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander beats Blade Brown by submission with the ankle lock after Blade Brown is knocked unconscious with a piledriver. After the match, Alexander praises Don Callis as the man who is responsible for assembling the most dominant faction in all of pro wrestling history, which will go on to win at Blood & Guts. He also praises Callis as being wise enough to put Jake Doyle and Mark Davis together to decimate The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) so they can do it again and win the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear. Alexander states that there is gold in the future of The Don Callis Family and that he will be no exception, and next week on Dynamite, he wants the TNT Championship, demanding that Darby Allin fight him. He also says that he will be a fighting champion as he brags about The Don Callis Family bashing Adam Copeland's head with the International Championship on Dynamite, and says he would love to fight Copeland - who is not here tonight - if he is able with the TNT Championship on the line. All of a sudden, Copeland - despite Alexander saying just a moment ago that he was not here tonight - shows up, and Alexander retreats before Beretta and Romero get Speared. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle soon show up and get the better of Copeland.

Swerve Strickland beats Myron Reed.

United Empire (Andrade el Idolo and "Speedball" Mike Bailey) beat The Allen Brothers (Steve and Robert Allen). After the match, as Andrade gets the usual front row selfie, he is sucker punched by Tommaso Ciampa. Speedball chases Ciampa around the ring, and Ciampa retreats through the crowd.

The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) vs. Wrathlander (Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron) ends in a no-contest with Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) shoving Kris Statlander off the top rope. After the match, "The Toxic Spider" Thekla shows up and whips Statlander with a leather belt, then Willow Nightingale runs into the ring with a metal chain. Triangle of Madness ("The Toxic Spider" Thekla, Julia Hart, Skye Blue) retreat at first, but soon regroup and attack Willow. Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Willow Nightingale and Wrathlander (Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron). Willow says she is willing to walk into war with Wrathlander, then says that she got off the phone with The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor). This leads to Willow and Wrathlander challenging The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) and Triangle of Madness ("The Toxic Spider" Thekla, Julia Hart, Skye Blue) to Blood & Guts.

"Switchblade" Jay White beats Kyle O'Reilly. After the match, Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong show up to check on O'Reilly, then The Last Outfit (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin, Clark Connors, David Finlay) shows up and lay Orange and Roderick out. As Orange Cassidy is about to be piledriven into ring steps, The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) show up from the entrance instead of the crowd, and Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli get the jump on The Last Outfit with metal folding chairs. Despite Finlay hitting Claudio with a chop block, Claudio blocks the shillelagh shot and fights him and Connors off. Switchblade soon hits Claudio with a low blow, but Moxley kicks the shillelagh out of the ring and hits Switchblade with the Death Rider. Moxley then pulls out a fork, and The Last Outfit get in the ring and jump Moxley to stop him from stabbing Switchblade. Orange hits an Orange Punch on Austin and Colten Gunn, then hits a dive on everyone else but Switchblade. Moxley catches Switchblade in the ring and holds him down for an Orange Punch in the ring, but Switchblade ducks and Orange hits Moxley inadvertently. Switchblade hits Orange with the Blade Runner, then The Last Outfit retreats.

Marko Stunt is slightly seething as he catches up with VaShawn. After the commercial break, Marko Stunt catches up to VaShawn and says he has done enough talking, as he has not been around long enough to be telling him what to do. He says VaShawn became champion because he saw something in him and wanted to help him, and if this needs to work, they need to calm down, get their heads together, and make VaShawn champion, and they cannot do this if they are working against each other.

Dustin Starr interviews Big John Dalton at the announce desk. Big John says he is living on a high right now and that when you step in through the door, you are coming to his house. Suddenly, "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox and Moses show up, and Eli Knox says that Big John Dalton is a champion because he is "Memphis Wrestling's little nepo baby" and his father is "the merch salesman." He says that Big John is walking around with the title that should be his, and Big John takes this as a challenge as he states that he has worked hard for what he has gained in Memphis Wrestling. He challenges Eli Knox to a match, telling him he will kick his teeth down his throat.

Big John Dalton retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox despite the distraction by Moses. After the match, Moses clotheslines Big John Dalton and hits him with the World's Strongest Slam to end the show.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for October 23, 2026

Sami Zayn, Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Sami looks to see how many "ride or die" fans are in the crowd before mentioning his meeting with Roman Reigns on Raw, and says that their conversation got him thinking as to who "the man" is in WWE. He says that the alpha male is not fundamentally the strongest, but the smartest and the one who knows how to survive, and that is him. He says there are eight billion people on the planet, but only one WWE Champion, and it is him. He says that CM Punk, Gunther, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and others have their sights set on, and it is him, and as he says he will not take anything from anyone, including Roman Reigns and Penta, Rey Fenix shows up. Fenix says he told Sami last week that he does not know what Penta is going to do, then says they have never had a problem and that they are still friends, but Penta is his brother, and if Sami disrespects his family, they will have a problem. Sami says that Penta should focus his efforts on somewhere else, like Roman Reigns, and says his problem is not with Fenix, but with people who show disrespect towards him. Suddenly, Trick Williams shows up. Trick says he feels Fenix's pain and that he has a problem with Sami, too, after Sami told all kinds of lies about him, including that he does not know how to survive. He then says that Sami puts no fear in his heart and therefore has no need to survive. He says he has been on sports shows and magazines and has married the best woman in the game, and he does not need to survive because he can thrive. He says that he has been in the main roster for ten months while Sami has no idea what "it" is after fifteen to twenty years in the game. He says that he has been in the main roster for ten months while Sami has no idea what "it" is after fifteen to twenty years in the game. Trick says that "it" beat Sami at WrestleMania, then demands a match for the WWE Championship with Sami, and Sami says that while Trick is not scared of him, he should be, as Trick's tongue is silver while his is steel and is sharp enough to cut him, make him look like a fool and destroy him on the microphone. He then says he will not do that because Sami Zayn is having a great, enjoyable rookie year and because everyone will eventually realize that Trick does not have "it" and that Trick does not know what "it" is. Sami says Trick is closer to "sink or swim" right now and that he is swimming in deep waters with him, and that Trick is nowhere close to getting a WWE Championship match. Trick asks Sami where that sharpness was when he beat him at WrestleMania, and says that he is demanding, not asking for, a title match, and that he will beat one out of him if he does not get it. Gargano gets in front of Trick only to get grabbed, and Sami hits Trick with a cheap shot while he, Gargano and Candice leave. General Manager Nick Aldis shows up and says that Sami may be WWE Champion, but he is not the boss, and to remind him of that, Sami will team up with Gargano against Fenix and Trick later tonight.

Chelsea Green retains the WWE Women's Championship against Roxanne Perez after Iyo Sky shows up and takes out Raquel Rodriguez on the outside. After the match, Liv Morgan shows up, and both Chelsea Green and Iyo Sky are outnumbered until Tiffany Stratton shows up and evens the numbers game. Liv Morgan nearly hits Tiffany Stratton with her own briefcase, but Tiffany fights back and nearly cashes in on Liv until Roxanne and Raquel make the save.

It is announced that Baron Corbin suffered a cervical muscle strain, an orbital bone conclusion, and blurred vision following being punted by "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes last week.

Backstage, Chelsea Green thanks Iyo Sky for showing up to help her, then says that this is the start of a beautiful friendship. Chelsea also had the feeling that Tiffany Stratton would return, and Tiffany hopes to cash in on Liv Morgan. Chelsea, Iyo and Tiffany then focus on having some martinis.

Blake Monroe beats Giulia in a street fight.

Randy Orton heads to the ring. Orton addresses "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, saying that he is proud of him after his balls dropped low enough to punt someone in the head, saying it is a badge of honor for him to make Cody crack. He then says that he can still see through Cody and while Cody can punt anybody in the locker room, they both know none of that matters until Cody does it to "The Legend Killer." Orton says that he knows that if Cody gets the opportunity, he will yet again hesitate. All of a sudden, Cody heads to the ring. Cody ponders when Orton became such a coward, especially when he is close to reaching the record for most world champions and when Orton is known as "The Legend Killer," even when it was not to Orton's own benefit. As Cody is talking, General Manager Nick Aldis and two officials are at ringside. Cody says he is unafraid because he is an anomaly and "The Legend Killer Killer" to Orton, saying that "I.O.U." and not "RKO" are not the three most dangerous letters to him. Cody then asks "What are we waiting for?" The two officials soon swoop into the ring before Aldis interrupts, but Orton says that this is not happening tonight. Aldis says that if they won't do this right here and now, they can settle it at Crown Jewel. Cody says he will wrestle Orton, but it will not just be any match, and states that it will be Last Man Standing. Orton says that is fine by him, then warns Cody that he asked for this and leaves.

"Michin" Mia Yim and B-Fab beat Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Champion after Jade Cargill hits Tatum Paxley with a cheap shot behind the referee's back after Michin grabs the ropes to block the Cemetery Drive, allowing Michin to hit Tatum with the Styles Clash for the win.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Trick Williams, who announces that he will be facing Sami Zayn for the WWE Championship next week. Rey Fenix shows up and reminds Trick that they have a tag match this week. Fenix and Trick leave, then an angry Damian Priest shows up.

Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura and Kiyoki) vs. The MFTs (Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) for the WWE Tag Team Championships ends before it can begin with Kiyoki shows up from the crowd and steals Haku's walking stick while Shinsuke Nakamura walks down the ramp, starting a brawl that multiple referees have to break up.

In footage from earlier today, General Manager Nick Aldis announces that two weeks from tonight, CM Punk and Kevin Owens will settle their differences in the ring. He then moderates a face-to-face between the two men. Punk and Owens sit at the table, then Aldis gives them the floor. Punk says he should be getting ready for Crown Jewel, but he lost out on a championship thanks to Owens. Owens says he had Punk beaten in Toronto and that he had Punk beat, and that Punk cost him the title early on. Owens says if it were up to him, he would never have had to look at Punk again, but Punk had to return. Punk insists this is all a waste of his time and that Owens does not know him as he and Owens state they will put each other down. Owens says he has heard from enough people about Punk to know something about him, and after Aldis adjourns the meeting, Punk says he will put Owens on his back as he leaves. Owens says he will do the same to Punk.

Sami Zayn and Johnny Gargano vs. Trick Williams and Rey Fenix ends in a no-contest with Ricky Saints attacking Rey Fenix out of nowhere, allowing Sami and Gargano to gang up on Trick Williams. All of a sudden, Penta shows up and makes the save before declaring the match a six-man tag match.
