Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for October 14, 2017

The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian) find out that they are not being allowed in the building tonight.

KUSHIDA vs. Scorpion Sky ends in a no-contest. During the match, KUSHIDA's mom is seen in the audience. Later on, The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian) shows up, with Daniels blowing an airhorn before kicking KUSHIDA in the crotch before Scorpio Sky falls victim to Celebrity Rehab. The Addiction are about to do the same to KUSHIDA when Jay Lethal charges the ring, causing The Addiction to retreat.

We see footage from during the break where Jay Lethal says that if The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian) have a problem with Ring of Honor, they have a problem with him. He says he is not going to stand by and watch them ruin everything for the fans, and challenges them to a tag team match against him and KUSHIDA.

Bully Ray shows up without entrance music and with sunglasses covering his eyes due to the concussions. He apologizes for all that and speaking lowly, and says he is doing what his doctor told him to do, as he took a pretty bad shot to the head and because of that, everything is affecting him right now. He has been in professional wrestling for a long time and appreciates all the support that everyone has given him over the years, and the fact that he and the fans have always had a really great relationship. He says there is nothing he would want to do more than scream, yell and tell Jay Briscoe how he is going to get his revenge on him, but he does not know if he will ever get his revenge on Jay Briscoe. For the first time in his career, he is considering stepping away from professional wrestling, but he does not know what to do and that he has to focus on recovery and on his family. He says the fans have been his family for so wrong, but he must now do what is best for him right now. He thanks everyone, and says he will see them down the road. Mark Briscoe shows up and tells Bully Ray that the issue is with Jay, not The Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark Briscoe), and that he has his back.

Next week: Mark Brisco and Punishment Martinez vs. Shane Taylor and Chuckie T!

Bullet Club shows up. Shane Taylor is seen talking to "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, who pulls out an envelope with a wad of money inside. A man with a clipboard accompanies them to the ring. Cody hands Shane Taylor the money before he gets in the ring with the rest of Bullet Club, while Shane Taylor stands at ringside. Cody says that after Death Before Dishonor, ROH ponied up and offered him the most lucrative contract in ROH history. He says it was November 2015 when The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) were fielding offers from every wrestling company on the planet. He says that professional wrestling often blurs the lines, but he is glad that they are here, as tonight, he is choosing Ring of Honor. The man with the clipboard shows a contract to Cody, which Cody signs. Cody shakes hands with everyone else in the ring, places his ROH baseball cap on a ring post, then says it is time to get down to business as everyone else leaves. Cody says he feels he should defend the ROH Championship on his first official night in ROH, and he is so confident he is still in his three-piece suit. He says that his opponent is arguably the second-most popular wrestler in all of ROH and has one of the greatest entrances in the company, and the opponent is none other than Cheeseburger.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes retains the ROH World Championship against Cheeseburger with the American Deathlock after throwing his suit jacket at Cheeseburger as a distraction after nearly losing the title on an inside cradle when Cheeseburger whips Cody in the back with his own leather belt when Cody tries to use one of his boots as a weapon.

TK O'Ryan says it is disgusting that a #1 contender's match for the World Six-Man titles in the first place, and Vinny Marseglia says the match was a joke. Matt Taven says there is a conspiracy against The Kingdom (Taven, Marseglia, O'Ryan), and says The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) will find out why they are the kings of Ring of Honor.

It's time for Coleman's Pulpit with Caprice Coleman. This week's guests are The Big Dawgs (Rhett Titus and Will Ferrara). Will Ferrara says he hates Cheeseburger so much that when they put cheese on his hamburger, it makes him think of Cheeseburger. Rhett Titus says he knows a thing about selfish tag team partners, then mentions that there is no fat when it comes to Will Ferrara. The Dawgs then tell The Tempura Boyz (Sho and Yo) that it is a dog-eat-dog world and that that you can never have too much tempura. The Big Dawgs vs. The Tempura Boyz is official for next week.

The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, TK O'Ryan) beat Search and Destroy (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Johnathan Gresham) after Matt Taven grabs his walking stick and whacks it into Chris Sabin's back behind the referee's back. He then grabs Sabin's tights for the pinfall.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for September 9, 2017

"The Villain" Marty Scurll guests on commentary this week. Scurll will be taking on Chuckie T at Death Before Dishonor in two weeks.

Bully Ray shows up. He says he has accomplished a lot in his career, but this is the first time he is in Atlanta, Georgia with Ring of Honor. He says ROH has been around for 15 years, and he is proud to say that he has been a fan - like so many others - since day one. When he came to ROH, he knew that The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Brisco) was the best team here, and he wanted to be part of the team. But as of late, Jay has been a little crazy and a little off-the-wall as they have won and lost the Six-Man Tag Team titles, but they have one more goal in mind. At Death Before Dishonor, he and The Briscoes will be on the same team, beat The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan, Vinny Marseglia) and reclaim the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships.

It is announced that The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan, Vinny Marseglia) have won the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships after beating Dalton Castle and The Boys for the titles at War of the Worlds UK in Edinburgh, UK on August 17th.

Will Ferrara comes out of the crowd and attacks Cheeseburger from behind before the start of the next match.

Will Ferrara beats Cheeseburger after Cheeseburger passes out from . After the match, Ferrara puts Cheeseburger in the move again, then Rhett Titus shows up. He confronts Ferrara for his actions, then after Ferrara takes the boots to Cheeseburger, he joins him in them.

Caprice Coleman hosts another edition of Coleman's Pulpit, complete with jazzy, upbeat music, church-related props and an actual pulpit. He asks people to send in questions via Twitter with #ColemansPulpit, and says that "jive turkeys" will not be allowed on his show.

Jay Lethal vs. "The Last Real Man" Silas Young in a Last Man Standing Match is official for Death Before Dishonor after both men fought until they were completely spent at War of the Worlds UK in Edinburgh, UK.

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young beats "Cauliflower" Chase Brown. After the match, Silas continues to attack Chase Brown. Jay Letha rushes into the ring to break this attack up, and security rushes in as immediately as Lethal does to keep both Lethal and Silas separated. As Silas leaves, Lethal asks him what he thinks he is doing taking his anger out on others, and says he will make sure he never puts anyone in the hospital like he did him ever again. He proposes that they not wait until Death Before Dishonor, and dares him to get in the ring right now. Silas says Lethal may be used to getting everything on a silver platter, but he has beaten Lethal on every kind of match he can, and says he is waiting until everybody can see it live on pay-per-view just so ROH can see that he deserves all the opportunities that have been given to Lethal. As he speaks, Lethal says that "The Last Real Man" is more like "The Last Real Little Boy." At Death Before Dishonor, it will be Last Man Standing, or in his case, "The Last Real Man Standing."

Matt Sells interviews "The American Nightmare" Cody. Cody says he should be thanking him, as he will tell him his thoughts instead of making him kiss his Ring of Honor. Cody says he has trained in every way possible to prepare for Minoru Suzuki. Sells asks if he regrets making his open challenge to anyone like Suzuki. Cody says he does not regret it, as these challenges go along with his name and lineage. He then makes Sells kiss the ring, which he does.

We see backstage footage from War of the Worlds UK in Edinburgh, UK, where The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and "The Villain" Marty Scurll mock Dalton Castle before "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes attacks him from behind. After Cody lays Castle out, he calls Castle "a novelty act" before saying he himself is a world champion.

It is announced that Jay White and Punishment Martinez will square off in a Las Vegas Street Fight at Death Before Dishonor.

The card for Death Before Dishonor is run down.

Search And Destroy (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Jay White, Jonathan Gresham) beat Bullet Club (Tama Tonga, Tonga Roa, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson). After the match, it is announced that The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) will face The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) for the ROH World Tag Team Championships at Death Before Dishonor.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for June 10, 2017

Before the next match, Rocky Romero is a little ticked off that Trent Barretta got a mystery partner behind his back. Baretta introduces the man, whom he calls "his real tag team partner," "The Kentucky Gentleman" Chuckie T, who makes his Ring of Honor debut.

Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero and Trent Barretta) and "The Kentucky Gentleman" Chuckie T beat Bullet Club (Hangman Page, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) after Barretta stops the Meltzer Driver and Chuckie T hits a piledriver of his own. All three men embrace after the match.

The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia) are backstage. Matt Taven has to calm down TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia. TK O'Ryan blames Dalton Castle's boys for injuring him, and Vinny Marseglia wants to cause as much pain as possible to them. Matt Taven hopes to punch Dalton Castle in the face for sticking his nose in their business.

We get a closer look at Jay White.

Kenny King guests on commentary for the next match.

The Rebellion (Rhett Titus and Shane Taylor) vs. Search And Destroy (Jay White and Jonathan Gresham) ends in a no-contest after the match gets out of control. During the match, Kenny King gets involved, but The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) run into the ring and take him down. After the match, Shelley says nobody wants to see The Rebellion, and challenges them to a eight-man tag team match at War of the Worlds where the losing team has to disband.

"The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian says he and Hangman Page are on a whole new level, as they are now whipping themselves with belts. He pulls out a belt, and says he cannot wait to whip Page.

Jay Brisco blames his loss from last week on Dalton Castle and his boys. In a profanity-laden tirade, he tells Dalton and the boys they have no idea what they have gotten themselves into, and that he will eat them alive.

KUSHIDA beats "The Villain" Marty Scurll to become the ROH World Television Champion! During the match, the lights go out as Scurll calls for the chicken wing. When they come back on, someone is standing on the apron dressed in Scurll's entrance gear. That person unmasks to reveal themselves as Adam Cole, who gives KUSHIDA enough time to recover and get the win and the Television title.
