Dustin Starr interviews Match Maker King Cobra and Assistant Match Maker Michael at the announce desk. Michael says he has been working with someone very close to King Cobra and that he has another surprise for him: Teddy Long, who shows up. Teddy says King Cobra and Michael have been doing a great job, and King Cobra says that he has a match that he wants to book and is deciding on how to go about it. On the subject of Simon, King Cobra says he wants Simon to pay instead of just suspending him after nearly blinding him, and that he has dues to pay. Teddy says he symphatizes with King Cobra and knows he wants payback, but now that King Cobra is a matchmaker, he cannot get into matches even though he can make them. Teddy then announces that there is a man standing here right now who can take Simon on at SuperBout III, and it turns out to be Michael. Teddy makes Michael vs. Simon official for SuperBout III.

We see a video package of "The Atrocity" Kruel's recent action interspersed with footage of Kruel standing in a corridor. Kruel tells "The GunShow" Brett Michaels that if he wants the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship, all he has to do is come and get it...if he can.

We hear from Big John Dalton, who says that no matter where he goes, everyone asks when he will get his hands on Reverend Ash Taylor. He dares Ash Taylor to get in the ring with him today if he has got the guts.

Dustin Starr interviews Reverend Ash Taylor at the announce desk. He says he does not care what Big John Dalton wants as The Righteous Path (Reverend Ash Taylor, Brother Bruce, "Righteous" Ryan Rembrandt) have dealt with him, but if he wants to deal with them again and put his hands on him, then he will have to go through his family. Ash Taylor says he is the top of the food chain and that he will have to go through everyone else, then his two druids show up.

Big John Dalton quickly beats three of The Righteous Path's (Reverend Ash Taylor, Brother Bruce, "Righteous" Ryan Rembrandt) druids, which are called "shadows" on commentary.

We hear from "All The Way" Ray Collins, who says he has an opportunity to win the Cobra Cup and that he will show Mike Anthony why he is called "All The Way Ray."

Backstage, Teddy Long helps Match Maker King Cobra and Assistant Match Maker Michael regarding the Memphis Heritage Championship picture. Teddy Long tells King . King Cobra makes "The GunShow" Brett Michaels vs. "The Atrocity" Krule official for SuperBout III.

Mackenzie Morgan cannot do anything as Aaron Roberts hits Tim Bosby with the Problem Bomb, and when Mackenzie confronts him, Aaron Roberts throws her into the corner before hitting Bosby with another Problem Bomb. J. Webb can be seen in the crowd during the match.

We hear from Simon, who tells Match Maker King Cobra that he knows he remembers his spikes, and while he missed on Christmas, he is coming right for his right eye at SuperBout III. Simon tells King Cobra that if he has vengeance in his heart and wants to get in the ring with him, he wants him and Assistant Match Maker Michael to promise him that if he wins, he will be reinstated with no question asked. Simon says that he does not play by the rules and that the rules do not apply to him, then slams his spikes into some raw meat before telling Michael that he is dead meat.

"Casanova" Colton Cage beats "Big Swole" Justin Cole to advance in the Cobra Cup Tournament after hitting him with a fist with a chain wrapped around it from the outside.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for January 27, 2024

We see Van Viciouss, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock and AJ Francis step out of a limo. Waldo is seen in the background.

Dustin Starr interviews The Hollywood Clique ("Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock and Van Viciouss) at the announce desk. Blaylock says everyone is jealous of them because they have the fame, the muscle and the money, which he pays top dollar for tax. Blaylock then brings out AJ Francis and hands him a stack of $100 bills, and AJ Francis says that "When money calls, you answer the phone." He says that just like cash, he is on demand, then pretends to take a call on the stack of money as he holds it to his ear while disaparaging Elvis Presley. After Francis says they call him "Dolla" because he is all about business, "All The Way" Ray Collins shows up. Collins says he had the feeling Blaylock would buy out AJ Francis with his money, then says he has some cash of his own in the form of Ohio Valley wrestler Cash Flo, who shows up and confronts Francis. Cash Flo says it is great to be back in Memphis, Tennessee, then says listening to The Hollywood Clique and AJ Francis is not great. He says he is tired of them talking down on Ray Collins, who has more heart in one finger than Van Viciouss does in his "pink panties," and tells Viciouss to "nut up or shut up" in a match, and if Viciouss steps up to him, he will punch him right in the mouth. Cash Flo also warns Francis that he knows where he comes from and how he makes his money, then says he makes his money by taking it from fools like Francis.

In the WrestleCenter parking lot, Mackenzie Morgan and Tim Bosby talk in the parking lot and talk about their future plans for 2024 as well as their tag team match today.

Mackenzie Morgan and Tim Bosby beat Devin O'Neal and Nixi XS.

We hear from Cameron Cole, who announces that he has signed with Memphis Wrestling. He says that the fans are a lot of friendly faces, than says he is "really, really good" at being bad. He says it is 2024 and it is time to kick some bad habits, and he has even given up smoking. He then says that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," and that it is time for everyone to keep their eyes on him and that it is time for "the bad attitude era."

We see a vignette for "The Atrocity" Krule, where Kruel approaches an abandoned house with the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship in his hands. He hands the title on a wooden post chained to the ceiling, much to the delight of Brooklynn.

"Big Swole" Justin Cole shows up for an impromptu interview at the announce desk. He says he will not sit in the back and allow nothing to be done regarding "The Atrocity" Krule's attack on "The GunShow" Brett Michaels, and that he wants Krule in a match next week.

Backstage, Big Nasty Phil and "Main Event" Brad Skimahorn" talk about Brad's lastest loss when Phil notices J. Webb in the background. Phil does not notice J. Webb at all, and thinks that Bradley is seeing things.

We hear from "The Genetic Nightmare" Mike Anthony, who says that there are levels to violence and that the ultimate level of violence has been reached. He says that this will end between himself and K-Toomer this Sunday.

The Twins of Salem (Jacksyn Crowler and Abel Booker) beat Steele Cross (Ethan Steele and Alex Cross).

We hear from Simon, who says that everyone in Memphis Wrestling hates The Posse (Simon and Mr. Chris) and deems everything their fault. He says that everything they do is the fault of the person behind the camera, who he then beats down. He says that it had to be done, and that nobody ever in Memphis Wrestling or in life will ever stop him, not even the person he beat up. We then find out that the person Simon beat up was Mr. Chris. He then warns the locker room, because he is coming for everybody.

Dustin Starr interviews "DDT" Diana Taylor at the announce desk. She says that her injury was worse than previously thought, but she is on the mend and she will be back at the WrestleCenter. Suddenly, "The Goddess of the Night" Nyxx shows up and says that what happened to Diana Taylor is what happens to people who mess with her. As soon as Nyxx turns her back to mock Diana Taylor, Diana hits Nyxx with one of her crutches. Suddenly, Sir Matthew and Lord Gaston show up and attack Diana Taylor from behind before wrapping a metal folding chair around Diana Taylor's injured foot. All of a sudden, Ray Ray Sanders shows up, takes one of Diana's crutches, and scares The Nyxx Network (Nyxx, Sir Matthew, Lord Gaston) out of the ring.

"All The Way" Ray Collins and Cash Flo beat Van Viciouss and AJ Francis. After the match, Francis gets angry with Van Viciouss and eventually punches him out.
