Generation NXT - NXT recap for November 23, 2016

Rich Swann vs. Kona Reeves (formerly known in NXT as Noah Kekoa and Noah Potjes) takes a strange turn when SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wulfe, Sawyer Fulton, Nikki Cross) shows up. The match ends when both men gets attacked by the foursome, and Reeves receives the brunt of the destruction. Rich Swann hits Wulfe with a top rope cross body, but he falls victim to the numbers game at the hands of SAnitY. Eric Young then gets on the microphone and says that this world is hanging on by a thread, and that this generation will be revered. He says that SAnitY tried it "your way," and it got them nothing. He says that they are not going to ask permission or look for approval, and that they will take. After the commercial break, No Way Jose, who is checking on Swann with the officials, calls out SAnitY, saying he wants Eric Young in a match tonight so he can whup his ass. All four members of SAnitY return to the ring and get on the apron, and all but Eric Young stand down as he and No Way Jose brawl. It isn't long before Wulfe and Fulton attack Jose from behind, and Nikki Cross joins in soon afterwards. Eric Young then lands the final blow.

In an interview after NXT TakeOver: Toronto, Paul Ellering says that Chapter 3 of The Authors of Pain's book has yet to be written.

Last Saturday, Daria Berenato was approached by Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, and asked her to be their tag team partner for this week's six-woman tag team match. Daria accepts.

Dash Fuentes interviews Billie Kay, Peyton Royce and Daria Berenato. Billie and Peyton say they're really good people, and that they plan to make the world a little more beautiful after Daria re-arranges the face of anyone who gets in their way. Daria throws a few punches, and Billie and Peyton are in surprise.

In an interview after NXT TakeOver: Toronto, "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger calls his loss to Bobby Roode disheartening, saying he tries so hard but always comes up short, especially when he needed this win in his own home country. He doesn't know what's next for him, but he knows 10,000 people stood up for him, and if they didn't give up on him, he won't give up on them. He stepped back and was still a perfect ten. He came up short this time, but he won't again.

In an interview after NXT TakeOver: Toronto, #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) cannot put into their words the thrill of their tag team title victory. They have finally proven the critics wrong, and both men show respect for one another. They cannot believe this title victory is real, but it is.

In an interview after NXT TakeOver: Toronto, Mickie James says that it was amazing to be out there, and says that Asuka is an incredible wrestler and felt that she had her number. She lost a lot of respect for her when Asuka didn't shake her hand, however.

After NXT TakeOver: Toronto, "The King of Strong Style" says he wants his rematch with Samoa Joe.

Samoa Joe returns to NXT next week.

Next week: No Way Jose vs. Eric Young!

Ember Moon, Liv Morgan and Aliyah beat Billie Kay, Peyton Royce and Daria Beranato after Billie and Peyton leave Daria high and dry.

In two weeks, "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura will get his NXT Championship rematch against Samoa Joe in Osaka, Japan.

The NXT Superstars talk about Brooklyn, New York as well as NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II.

NXT General Manager William Regal talks about NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II. All of a sudden, Billie Kay shows up, asking how it can be the best yet when she's not even booked for it. Regal tells her she's got her match...against the debuting Ember Moon.

Carmella, Liv Morgan and Nikki Glenncross beat Alexa Bliss, Daria Berenato and Mandy Rose after Carmella reverses a jackknife pin from Mandy Rose into a Code of Silence.

NXT General Manager William Regal has orders for security: neither Samoa Joe or "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura are to either start a brawl or to get out of their seat, and if either thing is to happen, they are to go into action.

We see Byron Saxton interview Samoa Joe and "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura with NXT General Manager William Regal and "the King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura. Both are excited to be in Brooklyn this weekend. Joe says he has a major issue with jumping through hoops to take the NXT title and keep it, and he is wondering if Regal wants him to be NXT Champion. When asked if he is taking this match seriously, Nakamura says he is. Joe says that he and Nakamura have crossed path, and Nakamura trained at the same place ("his dojo") as he did in Los Angeles. When asked if he respects Nakamura, he says he did but wonders if he does now. Nakamura says he respects Joe, and bows his head as he does. Joe takes offense to this, and gets up out of his seat ready to fight. Security rushes into position, as does Regal. Regal calmly asks Nakamura to leave the room, and Nakamura does. Regal then tells security to get Joe out of the room.
