Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for April 9, 2026

Director of Authority Santino Marella and Daria Rae are in the ring for a contract signing for Eddie Edwards vs. Mike Santana for the TNA World Championship at Rebellion. Eddie Edwards is introduced first, followed by Mike Santana. Eddie talks about how his and Santana's paths in TNA are similar as they both came in as tag team wrestlers and were overlooked as they fought for every scrap they could get as they climbed to the top of the mountain to become TNA World Champion twice. He then says that this is where their similarities end, as Santana left and he stayed when times got tough and TNA needs somebody who could stand and fight and carry the company on its back during the times it was laughed at. Eddie says that Santana "left for greener pastures" only to find out that the grass was not greener on the inner circle while he stayed in TNA and became a Grand Slam Champion, and when he wins at Rebellion, he will be a three-time World Champion. Eddie signs the contract, then Santana says while he left, he left so he could go into the world to test himself against the best today and find out who he really was, and he realized that no matter where he went, his heart was still in TNA. He says that TNA is where he built and rebuilt himself, and while he came back, Eddie only stayed because he was comfortable and complacent, and he came back because he had something to prove. Santana says he turned down more money than Eddie will ever touch and turned down opportunities some people can only dream of so he could create something special in TNA, and while Eddie calls himself the foundation, he cracked the foundation in half and rebuilt it himself. He then says that at Rebellion, Eddie will not only lose to Mike Santana, but a man who bets on himself every night for the fans and his family. Santana signs the contract as Eddie brings up his daughter while stating that Santana's fans and family will not be in the ring, and Santana threatens to drop him if he mentions her again. Santana says that Alisha Edwards had bigger balls than Eddie when she left him for Moose. Eddie dares Santana to hit him, and Santana is suddenly attacked from behind by Cedric Alexander until Leon Slater shows up and makes the save. Santana then clears the ring so that Slater can leap over the ring post and take out both Eddie and Cedric.

Backstage, we hear from AJ Francis. He talks about how he turned down signing with the Cleveland Brown to train to wrestle, saying he detests Cleveland. He then says that Nic Nemeth stole more opportunities than he cared to mention, so he stole his health. He is glad that he beat up Nic Nemeth, and he plans to put Nic Nemeth down for good.

Tasha Steelz guests on commentary for the next match.

Jada Stone beats "Doomsday" Dani Luna. After the match, Tasha Steelz attacks Jada Stone and hits her with a piledriver in the middle of the ring. (This ends up being Dani Luna's final match for TNA, as she was released from TNA on March 31st.)

As per the Bioflex Injury Report, "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth is out following being attacked by AJ Francis, and should be fully cleared for Rebellion. Tessa Blanchard is cleared to compete after last week's Bunkhouse match, but Jody Threat is still out and not cleared to compete. Matt Hardy is still cleared to compete tonight despite his ribs not being at 100%.

We see Elijah in a New Orleans cemetrry. A young boy asks Elijah to come to his father's grave and pray with him, as his dad was a big fan of Elijah when he was alive. They both head to the grave only for Kazarian to attack Elijah from behind with a rock. Kazarian gives the boy $20, but when the boy says Kazarian promised him $100, Kazarian tells him he lied and tells him to buzz off. Kazarian then quotes Romans 12:19 at Elijah before walking off.

Taryn Terrell heads to the ring. Taryn says she missed TNA and thanks TNA for giving her this time as well as her family, then talks about how her wrestling career got cut short and she never got to say goodbye on her own terms. She says that she has watched the Knockouts Division grow since she left and saw Mickie James pour her heart and soul into TNA only to be disrespected by The Elegance Brand (The Personal Concierge George Iceman, Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance, Mr. Elegance). Taryn tells Ash by Elegance that she does not know her, what she is capable of and what she has sacrificed for the Knockouts Division. The Elegance Brand shows up, and M tells Taryn that she had her time and that TNA belongs to them. Heather calls out Taryn for saying Ash's name like she still matters, and says Ash is on a mental health break because of people like Taryn who cannot accept the past. M says that some people cannot accept that something better came around, then says she wants nothing off The Elegance Brand before calling them marks. The Personal Concierge then reveals that ODB and Mickie have been attacked backstage. M and Heather get in the ring and gang up on Taryn, and Mr. Elegance joins in. Security gets in the ring, but Mr. Elegance lays them out before slamming Taryn so Heather and M can hit Nip and Tuck. The Personal Concierge then announces that at Rebellion, The Elegance Brand will bury the past.

Backstage, Director of Authority Santino Marella chews out Arianna Grace and Stacks for their recent behavior, and Stacks tells Santino to step off, as Arianna is not a little girl anymore, and tells Santino "You're gonna die, old man." Santino punches Stacks, then chases him and Arianna to the women's locker room. Indi Hartwell lets him, then they jump Stacks and Arianna. As they do, Indi gets the Cobra back and hands it to Santino.

"The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth guests on commentary for the next match.

Frankie Kazarian beats BDE by submission with a backstabber into the crossface chickenwing. After the match, Ryan Nemeth makes fun of BDE and congratulates Kazarian. BDE punches Ryan, and Ryan beats him up. Suddenly, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Elijah shows up behind Kazarian and chokes Kazarian with his scarf. He punches Ryan before chasing Kazarian to the back.

Elayna Black beats Myla Grace.

Backstage, Daria Rae tells Director of Authority Santino Marella that she has gotten a phone call from the board of directors and that he has been suspended indefinitely for his recent actions. Indi Hartwell stands up for Santino only to also get suspended indefinitely. She smiles as Santino and Indi leave.

Gia Miller interviews Ricky Sosa on the stage. Ricky Sosa says he is excited to be in TNA and that he wants to show the fans what he is all about. Eric Young suddenly interrupts the interview and calls Sosa "the virus sensation" and a pretender, and declares that he is the gatekeeper. Eric Young says that everything in TNA flows through him and that "Bang Bang Sosa Sosa" is over. Sosa says he has never disrespected Eric, but Eric Young calls him a little punk and pokes him. Sosa fires back, saying that they can handle things in the ring if he has a problem with him. Sosa fires back, saying that they can handle things in the ring if he has a problem with him. Eric Young attacks Sosa, and this starts a brawl that ends in Eric Young hitting Sosa with a piledriver.

We see Tessa Blanchard in the undead realm with Father James Mitchell. Mitchell tells her where she is, then says he will be her concierge before telling her "Happy Hunting." Meanwhile, Rosemary and Mara Sadé are collecting sins, and Rosemary summons Allie, who is tired of being dead. Meanwhile, Mila Moore is in another tunnel in the Undead Realm, then Rosemary, Mara and Allie hear a scream. Rosemary has Allie escort Mara Sadé while Rosemary casts a spell. We then see Victoria Crawford in another tunnel, where she sees a few decapitated heads. Another scream is hard before Rosemary turns on a radio while nearby picture frames show advertisements for Shudder. The White Rabbit is seen near a bloodied dress. Mila Moore hears Rosemary's voice, stating that they know Mila better than she knows herself before Havok shows up and kidnaps Mila again. Father James Mitchell is seen singing "My Way" as The White Rabbit walks by and Rosemary claps, and he soon knows that Rosemary is taking a deep dive into the seven deadly sins. Rosemary tells him that there is something he can do for them, and Rosemary shows him Abyss, asking Father James Mitchell to forgive him, for he has sinned. We then see the words "To Be Continued."

Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch, Tasha Steelz, Special Agent Zero) is in the ring. They introduce Mustafa Ali, who declares that he will become the new International Champion before addressing Trey Miguel, asking him to join Order 4 in the ring. Trey Miguel shows up and slides into the ring, then Mustafa Ali apologizes for getting off on the wrong foot and for what happened to Jada Stone, stating that while he has no problem with him being champion, he has a problem with the fans loving "second chance champions." He says that Trey is a screw-up just like the fans, but Order 4 loves that and will roll the red carpet out for him. Mustafa then concludes that he is not a champion because he does not need a second chance due to a shady past, and that he is just "too good for TNA." Trey says Mustafa is not a champion because he is a scumbag and a coward, and while he admits that he needed second chances and that the fans may have needed one at one time or another, he always treated TNA like family. Mustafa Ali laughs, saying that Order 4 is his family while Trey has nobody, mockingly stating The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed) are not here anymore. Trey says The Rascalz are still his brothers for life, and that he still has the International Championship while Mustafa does not even have a set of balls. Mustafa Ali tells the rest of Order 4 to clear the ring so that he can handle Trey Miguel himself. This leads to a brawl, and Order 4 gets back in the ring to gang up on Trey. As Special Agent Zero goes for a choke slam, Moose and Alisha Edwards show up. Moose lays out Zero, and Mustafa goes for a sleeper only to get a superkick from Trey and a Spear from Moose. Moose readies Mustafa for a top rope splash, but Order 4 pulls Mustafa out of the ring.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) in a Tables Match. TNA President Carlos Silva personally awards the tag team titles to The Hardys after the match. After the match, The Hardys are attacked by Dutch, who buries them both under a broken table to end the show.
