Global Wars Metroplex - Ring of Honor recap for February 5, 2026

Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "The Captain" Shawn Dean, "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo, Trish Adora) beat Demo Diamond, Kari Jai Wright, LVJ and Reiza Clarke in an eight-person tag match.

Red Velvet beats Vertvixen in an ROH Women's World Television Championship Proving Ground Match.

Backstage, Christopher Daniels speaks with Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin), saying that the world of professional wrestling is taking them and their talent for granted. He says that they should make some challenges to change that, and challenges Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos to a match for the ROH World Tag Team Championships, stating that they are not defending the titles often and not defending against top tier talent. Dante says Sammy Guevara was supposed to be a pillar, but he has become an embarassment to the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Dante declares that Top Flight represents doing everything the hard way and the right way, and Darius declares that they are the alarm clock the tag team division needs before throwing down the gauntlet.

Big Bill and "The Bounty Hunter" Bryan Keith beat Surf and Turf (Braddah Kaimi and Phil Shark).

Abadon retains the Metroplex Wrestling Women's Championship against Ray Lyn.

"Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty beats Exodus Prime in an ROH Pure Championship Proving Ground Match.

Backstage, "Smart" Mark Sterling hosts a mediation session between The Swirl ("Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian and "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson) and The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari). He proposes that both teams should team up to take care of all the luchadors in Ring of Honor. Blake Christian says The Swirl is in if Story Denali is in, and Sterling says it is a deal. The Premier Athletes are unsure as to what is going on or what this entails, and Sterling has to explain it to them.

JD Griffey beats Delynn Cavens to become the Metroplex Wrestling Champion!

Hyan, Maya World and "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo beat Athena, Billie Starks and Diamanté in a six-woman tag match.
