Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce makes Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky official for tonight's main event over the phone with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Ivy Nile shows up wanting a match for the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri, and Pearce says he will get some details sorted to make it official. Ivy Nile leaves, then Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker show up. Heyman says he has no idea who the man in black from Survivor Series was, then mentions that Breakker pinned CM Punk and that they have much to discuss.
LA Knight beats "Main Event" Jey Uso after countering the pinfall attempt from an Uso Splash with a crucifix pin to advance to the finals of the Last Time is Now Tournament. After the match, Jey Uso loses it, and starts throwing around the Prime Hydration Station and the ring steps after he becomes frustrated with himself for losing in the tournament to LA Knight.
Backstage, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria want a shot at the Women's Tag Team Championships from General Manager Adam Pearce. Pearce puts them under consideration before The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up and says that if Bayley joined them at WarGames, they could have won. Bayley says The Kabuki Warriors have only themselves to blame for losing at Survivor Series, but Asuka tells Bayley that she is not in the main event.
The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez) head to the ring. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio says that John Cena is the greatest of all time, but he beat the greatest of all time, making him the greatest Mysterio of all time, greatest luchador of all time, king of the luchadores and the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time. He says he could not have done it without The Judgment Day, then says there is one person he could definitely not have done it without: Liv Morgan, who heads to the ring. Liv Morgan says that nobody saw her coming, including John Cena, and Dominik says that Cena was going to figure out their plan, but once that failed, they decided to play the ace up their sleeve and got back both his title and Liv Morgan. Liv says she missed Raquel and that it is nice to see The Judgment Day, then says that she has been hearing some things about The Judgment Day being weak, having lost some of its gold, and having fallen apart. She says that this will change because she and The Judgment Day are back and coming for everything that is theirs, and as of right now, they run Raw. She then slaps and then jumps on top of Dominik before making out with him.

The Vision ("The Oracle" Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Logan Paul) head to the ring. Paul Heyman gives a shout-out to Brock Lesnar, saying he is like no other human being on the planet and is still "The Beast," and a shout-out to Drew McIntyre, saying it was a pleasure doing business with him. He also gives a shout-out to Bronson Reed for hitting everyone on the other team with a Tsunami and another to Logan Paul for fitting in with his vision of the future, then announces that CM Punk will lose the World Heavyweight Championship to Bron Breakker on January 5th. Breakker says he is a little upset tonight not because of where they are or the man in black who tried to ruin his moment, but he is disappointed at how easy it was to pin CM Punk, as he thought he would have to dig deep down to beat him. He then calls CM Punk "a soft-ass bitch" and no different from any other veteran who has lived off past glory as well as no different from Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, due to his wife being a bigger star than he is. Breakker says their match will be a different kind of fight, as CM Punk tried to break his neck and ruin his life as well as take away everything he has ever worked for, and for that, he will ruin Punk's life and come for everything. He then says that when he is announced as the new World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk will look up to him and realize he is nowhere close to "the real Best in the World."
Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews "Main Event" Jey Uso, who says that there are a lot of people in his head who need to get out and that he is to blame, then says that titles look better on Roman Reigns' shoulders and not his.

After the match, LA Knight gets in the ring and tells Gunther that he will be the one to face John Cena.

Rey says the main issue is "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, but as long as he is hiding behind The Judgment Day, he has no problem going through them one at a time. He also has not ruled out another run towards the Intercontinental Championship. Logan Paul also shows up, and Rey calls Logan "the one guy more of an ass than his own son" before Logan states that the Intercontinental title belongs to him. He tells Rey to step down, but Rey says "Who's gonna stop me, pendejo?" Logan threatens to not only stop Rey, but retire him. Rey slaps Logan in the face, and officials rush in to restore order.
