Bobby Roode says he wants to be the best United States Champion in history, but in order to do that, he has to steal a tradition from John Cena: the U.S. Open Challenge. He talks about how John Cena defend the United States title week in and week out against everyone, then announces the U.S. Open Challenge will continue. Normally, the open challenge is for anybody in the locker room, but tonight, he hopes Randy Orton shows up and faces him in the ring instead of hitting him with an RKO out of nowhere. Randy Orton shows up and heads to the ring, accepting the challenge. All of a sudden, Jinder Mahal shows up as Orton and Roode stare down. Jinder says that the WWE Universe respects Orton, but he wishes he could say the same about the SmackDown Live roster, who made him #9 on the SmackDown Top Ten List. He calls Orton a legend in his own time before reiterating that he was ranked low by his peers, and also talks about their feud over the WWE Championship. Jinder then tells Orton he respects him. He goes on to tell Orton that the rest of the locker room thinks he has already peaked. Orton grabs his own microphone and tells Jinder he does not care about any top ten lists and never will. Jinder asks Orton if he expects him to believe that after 16 years of perfecting his craft in the WWE only to get beaten on the top ten list by Bobby Roode. Jinder reiterates that he respects Orton, but he has it on his own authority that Roode fancies himself a future legend killer. Roode says those are pretty big words from someone who could not make the top ten, and says Jinder didn't make the list because nobody respects him. He then says he has nothing but respect for Orton and his WWE legacy. As for his opinion on why Orton is #9, he says that he and everyone is sick and tired of the RKO's out of nowhere. Orton responds with an RKO out of nowhere to Sunil Singh, then gets hit from behind by Jinder. After Orton turns Roode around, Roode gets knocked down and Orton falls victim to the Khalass.

Kofi announces that today is Fat Tuesday, and Xavier says that in order to celebrate this day, Big E is going to destroy the record of eating over 130 pancakes in 8 minutes. When asked how he feels, Big E says "Good." The attempt begins, and Big E starts shoving several panckages in his mouth at once. All of a sudden, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable show up. Gable sarcastically claps for The New Day and says this is awesome, and Benjamin says what The New Day has done for pancakes is astronomical and they should take it on the road. He proposes they start their own IHOP and leave the SmackDown Live tag team division to a pair of serious competitors, but Xavier asks if they are saying they are not serious competitors and reminds them they set the record for the longest tag team title reign in WWE. He also asks Benjamin and Gable who wants to see them as champions, before The New Day says "Nobody!" Benjamin then hands Gable a pancake, and Gable throws it to the mat. The New Day are not happy, and Shelton flaps another 'jack on the mat. Big E grabs a whole plate and proclaims "Don't you dare touch our cakes!" Gable then tells Big E that nobody likes pancakes. The crowd boos, and Benjamin says they're eating waffles from now on before they topple the plate upwards, spilling the pancakes upwards. Big E has to be held back by Kofi, Xavier and a referee. He has now come back to WWE to main event WrestleMania, and says he will be damned if he does not walk in as WWE Champion.

We hear from The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), who say they have told everyone how they have run SmackDown Live.
