Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 16, 2013

Daniel Bryan is here. He's happy to be WWE Champion! Triple H shows up...and Scott Armstrong's fast count at the finish from Night of Champions is mentioned. After being compared to his normal count, it is indeed fast. Armstrong mouths to Bryan "They got us, Daniel," Triple H dismisses Armstrong, telling him he'll deal with him later. Triple H then strips Bryan of the title and declares it held in advance. Triple H wants the belt back, but Bryan steadfastly refuses to give it up. Randy Orton runs into the ring, but Triple H tells him to calm down and stop. Daniel Bryan tries to run off with the WWE title, but ends up tasting an RKO from Orton. Triple H takes the belt from Bryan's grasp and walks up the ramp with it.

Randy Orton confronts Triple H and Stephanie McMahon over the title being held in advance. Stephanie McMahon rips into Orton, and wants the Randy Orton of old.

Dolph Ziggler beats Dean Ambrose.

Brad Maddox and Big Show wait for Triple H and Stephanie McMahon...

Daniel Bryan has to face Roman Reigns tonight...and Big Show has to stay in an office all night unless Stephanie McMahon needs him, as per Stephanie McMahon.

Fandango beats R-Truth.

Dusty Rhodes is here...and for a business proposition...

Dusty Rhodes is here. He's here to help Cody Rhodes earn his job back via a business proposition. Stephanie McMahon shows up and offers a job to one of his two sons...but only one. After pondering this (and being accused of having an ego by Stephanie), Dusty tells her to go straight to Hell. The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up, but Stephanie stops them in her tracks and sends out Big Show, who shows up. He tells him to knock Dusty out as The Shield all get steel chairs. She gives Dusty a choice between dismantled by either Show or The Shield, but he doesn't choose, so Show has to knock him out. Show hugs Dusty and tells him he's sorry, then reluctantly knocks him out. Dusty has to be taken out of the ring on a stretcher.

Dusty Rhodes is taken to the hospital.

AJ and Natalya join on commentary for the next match.

Brie Bella and the Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) beat Aksana, Alicia Fox and Layla.

Rob Van Dam beats Damien Sandow.

Triple H talks to Scott Armstrong...and has to let him go as he gives him a severance package. Armstrong is fired!

Randy Orton and The Miz fight to a double count-out...but the real fight happens after the bell, where Orton destroys The Miz in front of his own parents, who are in the front row tonight! Orton gets a steel chair, and wraps it around Miz's head before hitting Miz's head - and the chair - with a diving knee strike.

Paul Heyman - now wheelchair-bound - is accompanied by Curtis Axel...and Ryback. Heyman declares himself "Best In The World" and brags about how he beat CM Punk. Ryback is confirmed as a Heyman guy after Heyman owes his life to him. Ryback considers Punk a bully, and aims to make sure Punk never lays his hands on Heyman again.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) and The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro) in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to become the #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team titles.

Bray Wyatt talks about his world.

Dusty Rhodes will be fine, but The Miz is suffering from a broken thorax after the assault at the hands of Randy Orton.

The locker room cheers on Daniel Bryan as he heads to the ring.

Randy Orton shows up before Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns.

Daniel Bryan beats Roman Reigns by disqualification when Randy Orton interferes. Orton eats a Yes! Lock, but The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Reigns) attack Bryan, and Orton is able to join in. Orton puts a steel chair over Bryan's hand, but the locker room rushes out and go for The Shield successfully! They then unite with Daniel Bryan for one big "Yes!" chant.
