In footage from earlier today at WWF Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, WWF co-owner Vince McMahon's parking spot now belongs to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin talks with the secretary, and convinces her to conduct business on the phone with a more "Stone Cold" vocabulary as he heads to his top floor office.
The Corporate Ministry shows up to start tonight's show. WWF co-owner Vince McMahon says the fans tonight are downright rude. He says the only thing worse than "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being WWF Champion is "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being WWF CEO. Last Monday night was to have been a celebration and a culmination of blood, sweat and tears, planning, scheming and executing the most Machiavellian plan in the history of the World Wrestling Federation. But sometimes, plans go awry, and when they do, that tests the mettle of a man and an organization, and there are those in the crowd who think there are cracks in The Corporate Ministry and that it is about to dissolve, and even wish that it would disintegrate. He says that is only wishful thinking, as that is not going to happen tonight or any night. Vince says The Corporate Ministry is focused, and it sets its sights on the future, and as such, he and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon have given great deliberation to future and to King of the Ring. Austin has challenged him and Shane to a handicap match, which they eagerly anticipate. All that is left is what stipulation will be added to the match. Vince proposes a Dog Pound Match, but says they need to see one first by making one tonight. Vince proposes putting a dog collar on the necks of "Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, and connect the two collars with a chain. Shane loves the idea, and says that the handicap match at King of the Ring is like David vs. Goliath, with Austin being David and the two of them being Goliath. Shane proposes a David vs. Goliath in which Big Show is one corner and X-Pac is in the other, and asks what will happen. Shane then says he has another idea for a match: The Acolytes playing the part of him and Vince in a handicap match, with Kane playing the part of Austin as they square off in a handicap match tonight. Vince also proposes a Blindfold Match, but then calls it a Blind Date match. He considers taking Test and putting a blindfold on him for asking WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon out on a date, and put him up against The Big Boss Man, who will have 20/20 vision. Vince then propose making the King of the Ring handicap match a Straitjacket Match, and puts "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock in a straitjacket against Jeff Jarrett, who will have full use of his limbs. Vince ensures that tonight is the night that everyone will remember for a long, long time. Suddenly, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco show up, and Patterson tells Vince that he has known him for 20 long years and that Vince knows that Stephanie is his godchild. He knows that business is business, but wants to know how he can put Stephanie through such an ordeal like he did. Patterson tells Vince he is questioning his judgment when Vince asks if he is, and he wants answers. Vince tells Patterson to get himself right, or he will not like the answers. Patterson takes this as a threat, and tells Vince and Shane they can go straight to Hell. Brisco then tells Shane and Vince to "get their own damn coffee" while they head there. As they leave, Vince tells them he owns them, and puts them in a tag team match against Mideon and Viscera. Vince announces again that tonight will be a night for all to remember.
We see the world premiere of "Gettin' Chefy With It," the Chef Boyardee commercial starring The Rock.

Before the next match, "Road Dogg" Jesse James shows up with a dog collar, complete with chain and second collar, but "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn shows up in a neck brace. The crowd immediately chants "Bullshit!" Road Dogg says the crowd is right, and points at the aisle, telling Kane to go back to the back. Billy Gunn turns around immediately, and accidentally reveals that he is wearing the neck brace to get out of the match. Referee Tim White removes the neck brace, and the match is on.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock arrives at the building, and finds out from Sgt. Slaughter that local law enforcement will be escorting him in and out of the ring following what happened last week.
The Rock shows up. He tells The Undertaker that by getting involved in his match last week, he has checked himself into The Smackdown Hotel. He says that The Undertaker does not impress him by coming out with a huge Undertaker symbol, taking souls and rolling his eyes into the back of his head, and that if he really wants to impress him, he must put the WWF Championship on the line against him at King of the Ring. When his music hits and 20,000 asses are standing on their feet with goosebumps running through their bodies as they chant his name, then The Undertaker will head to the ring and sacrifice him, but instead of taking his eyes and rolling them up into the back of his body, he should take his entire 33-pound head, turn it backward like The Exorcist, have it roll down his back, catch it with both hands and stick it directly up his candy ass. The Undertaker's music hits, and The Undertaker arrives with Paul Bearer. The Undertaker tells The Rock that sing-along time is over, and that his mouth is writing checks his ass can't cash. He says The Rock has failed to realize that he has crippled more people than polio, and that The Rock may not be the first, but he will be the next. He says that it is time for The Rock to go to the learning tree, and that he accepts his challenge for King of the Ring. Suddenly, WWF co-owners Vince and Shane McMahon show up, and Vince stops The Undertaker from accepting the match. Vince says he knows that The Undertaker is eager to do this, but says The Rock is not deserving of a title shot and that the only thing electrifying about him is the gaudy shirts he wears. He tells The Rock that he must be victorious against The Undertaker tonight in order to get a title shot at King of the Ring. The Rock says he will kick The Undertaker's ass, whether it be tonight or King of the Ring. Shane then says a stipulation will be added to the match, and that The Rock will not find out what it is until five minutes before he comes out for his match.

He then holds a beer-drinking contest - and tells Justin, the former mail clerk, to clean the beer he spilled on the floor - where the winner is the only one who isn't sloppy drunk and all the losers who are will get fired.

After Austin gets Matt DeLuca to say "I just whipped your ass," Matt shows Austin to the accounting department.

In footage from earlier today at WWF Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, we see numerous framed pictures of WWF co-owner Vince McMahon's photos and numerous accomplishments. We then see "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who says he has looked over the day-to-day operations of World Wrestling Federation, and says that he's been stepping in so much bullshit he might as well be swimming in it. A few men dump wheelbarrows full of cow manure on the floor of the office in a pile. WWF co-owners Vince and Shane McMahon are livid, and Austin is seen pouring beer on the pile of cow manure.
WWF co-owners Vince and Shane McMahon show up. Vince says "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has disgraced the World Wrestling Federation with his mere presence in WWF's world headquarters, and says he will not forget or forgive what he has done on this day. However, he and Shane cannot wait for the day that Austin will no longer be CEO of the World Wrestling Federation. He proposes taking Austin's title as CEO, as well as his and Shane's stock in the company, and hang it above the ring. He says the only way to get it all is to climb a ladder. He makes their handicap match at King of the Ring a Ladder Match. Shane then announces that if The Rock can beat The Undertaker tonight, he will get his WWF Championship at King of the Ring. Before he can mention the stipulation for their match, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock - now straitjacket-free - runs into the ring, hits Shane with a belly-to-belly suplex and chases Vince to the back.

Referee Mike Chioda runs into the ring, but Chyna pulls him out of the ring so that Triple H can try to pin The Rock as Hebner counts. The Rock still kicks out. Chyna inadvertently trips The Undertaker as she looks away from the ring, thinking 'Taker is The Rock, and this causes Triple H to confront The Undeertaker.
