Vince's Got A Shotgun - Shotgun Saturday Night recap for February 7, 1998

Brian Christopher and Flash Flanagan beat Taka Michinoku and Pantera after Flanagan rakes Taka's eyes, Christopher scoops slams Taka and Pantera inadvertently hits Taka with a moonsault from the top rope. After the match, Pantera attacks Taka.

The 100% wool Raw Is War varsity jacket with genuine leather sleeves and custom-embroidered Raw Is War logo on the back is now available for $199.99 plus $21 shipping and handling!

Los Boricuas (Miguel Perez and Jose Estrada Jr.) beat The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) after The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) show up and Henry hits Jacques in the back of the head with a slop bucket. It is announced that coverage of the events leading up to the WrestleMania press conference is available on The Ross Report on Option 3 of the WWF Superstar Line.

We hear from Owen Hart, who says that the eight-man tag match at No Way Out started as a personal matter between himself and D-Generation X ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna), but it has become more personal, and at No Way Out, he has lunatics in his corner in the form of Cactus Jack, Terry Funk and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. He wants D-Generation X and The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn badly, as there is no way out and his team of lunatics want them just as badly and are building up their energy for the match. On Sunday, there will be no way out, and they will get the job done.

Los Boricuas (Savio Vega and Jesus Castillo) beat The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn). During the match, The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) show up to watch the match from afar, then attack Henry as referee Earl Hebner's back is turned to get revenge on The Godwinns, giving Los Boricuas the win.

We hear from The New Age Outlaws. Billy Gun says that everything will be bigger and better in Texas this Sunday when they come to town for No Way Out. He and Road Dogg brag about almost killing Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie, and Billy Gunn says that had they been given one more second, they would have almost killed Owen Hart. As for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, he is no longer "the baddest S.O.B. in the World Wrestling Federation" and that they are as likely to kill him off, too. Road Dogg says they have pulled Austin's punk card, but now they get the chance to get their hands around their throats. They tell Austin to bring his team, as they are teaming with D-Generation X ("The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna) and there is no way out in Texas.

WrestleMania 14 is seven weeks away!

Sunny is special guest ring announcer for the next match.

The Rock beats Tom Brandi.
