Michael Buffer starts the show with the announcement of the world premiere of the Nitro Girls: Kimberly, Spice, Chae, Fyre, AC Jazz and Tayo, who dance for the crowd.
The commentary table announces that "Sting" at the end of Bash at the Beach was a guy in a Sting mask, and believe that the masked man is Kevin Nash.
In pre-recorded footage from earlier today, Alex Wright says he is 100% German beauty, and says other guys are jealous of him for his and that all the women are dreaming of him and came to see him dance. He claims he can get all the women to be with him with the snap of his fingers.
Alex Wright vs. Prince Iaukea ends when The Giant shows up, choke slams the referee, Prince Iaukea and the entire WCW security team as Alex Wright runs to the back. During the match (or what there was of it), it is announced that the encore for Bash at the Beach will air on pay-per-view tomorrow night. The Giant then says he has had it with the entire New World Order, and after last night, he wants it. He knows it was not Sting that hit him last night, and says it was Kevin Nash in a Sting mask that did it as Doug Dellinger and the heads of security try to talk him down.
Eddie Guerrero beats Chavo Guerrero, Jr., then hits Chavo with another frog splash from the top rope. Hector Guerrero shows up, tends to Chavo, then tells Eddie to leave him alone. Eddie shoves Hector, then leaves.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page and Kimberly. Six months ago, Page had a match in Minneapolis, Minnesota and ran into Curt Hennig when he went out for a few beers. They both spent some time in the same school together and have a lot in common, and Hennig told Page he had a lot of respect for him for his recent rise to the top. Page wanted Sting as his partner, but Sting has bailed him out so many times he had second thoughts about it. He thought of teaming with Lex Luger and The Giant, but they already had a match. He then called Hennig, who accepted only to show his true colors last night. Page says he doesn't get mad, he gets back up, and says that it's not how many times he goes down, it's how many times he gets back up, and if Hennig doesn't believe him, he can ask "Macho Man" Randy Savage about La Parka.
We see another performance from the Nitro Girls.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray). Booker T says they're not worried about Vincent or the New World Order, and says they're no patsies as he proclaims that will beat The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) like they stole something. Stevie Ray says that while they don't have a title shot, tonight will be an old-fashioned street fight.
The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Vicious and Delicious (Scott Norton and Buff Bagwell) by disqualification after they are attacked by Vincent, Masahiro Chono and The Great Muto. Despite being outnumbered, the Steiners are able to outpower all five men. During the match, Konnan is seen outside of the arena exiting a black limousine with Syxx, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Nash leaves the limo a little more slowly than the others, as he is currently in pain as he is seen putting his hand on his back as he walks while the others ask where he's been.
This Saturday on WCW Saturday Night: Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray)! Meng! Hugh Morrus! Syxx! A statement from WCW Executive Committee head J.J. Dillon!
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Raven, who is accompanied by Stevie Richards yet again. Raven talks about how rules and responsibilities are the ties that bind, and how if we did otherwise, we would not be ourselves. Raven says he will do what he has to and do what he must, and the only announcement is that there is no announcement. Stevie is shocked, and gets spit on and kicked when he says "But Raven, if you said I signed the contract with WCW...", a statement he never finishes before Raven attacks him.
In pre-recorded footage from earlier today, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit tells Kevin Sullivan that last night was more than a battle, but a personal problem. He says that the personal problem has been taken care of Sullivan's career is over, and that it's time to go back to being one of the Four Horsemen.
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Mike Enos with the Crippler Crossface.
We see another performance from the Nitro Girls.
Before the next match, Kimberly is seen on the entrance ramp making the Diamond Dallas Page diamond symbol with her hands, causing commentary to question if this is Page or the real La Parka who is coming to the ring.
Super Calo vs. La Parka ends when "Macho Man" Randy Savage attacks both men and tries to unmask La Parka. Diamond Dallas Page shows up, making the save and attacks Savage until he is knocked out with a foreign object by Curt Hennig, who then walks away. Savage then hits Page with a top rope elbow drop. "Mean" Gene Okerlund then interviews Hennig, who says that Page has nothing in common with him. He says that five years ago, Page used to come to ringside so he could have his autograph and that everyone knows he is "the biggest mark in the business" and that he has no work ethic. He says that if Page challenges him, he won't last 30 seconds much like how he supposedly can't last 30 seconds with Kimberly. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up, telling Hennig he can watch him run Jeff Jarrett off before they party all night long on Treasure Island. Hennig reluctantly heads to the back with Flair.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
Lee Marshall calls from Jacksonville, Florida - the site of next week's Nitro - for the 1-800-COLLECT Road Report. Next week's Nitro will not air on Monday, but instead on Tuesday.
Syxx, Eric Bischoff and Scott Hall bring out Kevin Nash on a wheelchair while Vincent, Konnan, Buff Bagwell, Scott Norton, Masahiro Chono, The Great Muta and Vincent follow from behind. Bischoff announces that one of the most powerful men on the planet is injured, and even worse, there are people accusing him of being a Sting imposter last night. Nash denies that he was the one behind the Sting mask last night, as he would never stoop so low as to attack another combatant from behind. Bischoff says that Nash has pulled himself out of traction to make an announcement, and Hall says he has to stand for this one. After he is helped up, he announces that Konnan showed the world what he would do, then Konnan reveals that he is wearing an nWo shirt. Kevin Nash then announces that Konnan has proved he has what it takes to be part of the nWo, and welcomes "K-Dawg" aboard. Afterwards, it is announced that The Giant has been removed from the building as Kevin Nash is helped down the entrance ramp by Syxx and Hall as everyone else heads to the back.
The Wolfpack (Scott Hall and Syxx), with Syxx replacing Kevin Nash in the match, beat Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) when Nash clubs Booker T from behind on the apron while the referee is distracted by Stevie Ray and Syxx, revealing that Nash was faking his injury.
We see another performance from the Nitro Girls.
Masahiro Chono and The Great Muta beat Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) after Grunge knocks Vincent off the apron only to turn around into The Great Muta's green mist.
The nWo Dennis Rodman shirt is available for $20 plus $5.95 shipping and handling.
Jeff Jarrett beats "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair by disqualification and retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship after Steve "Mongo" McMichael cuts Debra McMichael off as she speaks towards the camera before attacking Jarrett. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit shows up and takes part, then Jarrett and Debra run to the back with Mongo giving chase.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Lex Luger in the ring. Luger says that he's had a lot of low points in his career, but he has also had some great moments, and last night was one of his finest moments. He calls The Giant a great tag team partner, and says he loved putting "Macho Man" Randy Savage, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and especially Dennis Rodman in the Torture Rack last night, and tells Dennis to stick to basketball from here on out. As for Road Wild, he thinks there will be a title on the line, and dares Hogan to put the the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line against him. As Hogan dares anyone who wants a piece of him to come on down, the New World Order shows up and surrounds the ring. SSting shows up, but it's clearly yet another man in a Sting mask. He gets in the ring and removes the wig and mask to reveal it really is Sting after all as the show ends.
