In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede - The Results

The Godwinns (Henry O. Godwinn and Phineas I. Godwinn) beat The New Blackjacks (Blackjack Windham and Blackjack Bradshaw) during the Free For All when Henry kicks Windham in the gut as the referee is focused on Bradshaw.

Mankind and Hunter Hearst Helmsley wrestle to a double count-out as the battle goes from ringside to the crowd, with Helmsley, Chyna and Mankind fighting in the arena's penalty box. Officials have to stop the brawl as it heads towards the back.

The Calgary Stampede festivites started over the weekend with the Stampede parade. Thousands saw marching bands, floats and the WWF. The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) and Mrs. Calgary 1997 Diana Hart Smith graced the WWF float. Bret signed some autographs for a literal mile's worth of fans. Meanwhile, Goldust, Dok Hendrix and The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) attended the White Hat Ceremony, which gave the WWF the key to the city. There was also a tug-of-war contests between the WWF Superstars and the local police. The Superstars came out on top, but the true winners were the fans.

Dok Hendrix interviews The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Brian Pillman) when "Stone Cold" Stee Austin shows up being held back by three officials. Bret decides to wait until this gets into the ring, and he wants 5-on-5 and not 5-on-1.

Before the next match can happen, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna and Mankind are seen heading back into the arena where they continue to fight. Mankind busts Helmsley open before they take it back to the back again while officials try in vain to break up the brawl.

The Great Sasuke beats Taka Michinoku in a Light Heavyweight Division match.

Mankind, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chyna are still fighting, this time outside of the arena. Officials are finally able to break them up.

Ahmed Johnson has been replaced by Vader due to his knee injury. Dok Hendrix interviews Paul Bearer and Vader, and Bearer says that looking in the mirror is the best thing he can do in the morning, while saying 'Taker cannot due to the same due to being a murderer. He says Vader will be deja vu when the world watching him beat 'Taker like he did at Royal Rumble.

The Undertaker retains the WWF Championship against Vader.

Dok Hendrix interviews the team of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Goldust and The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Anomal and Road Warrior Hawk). Goldust says he is the one who put this team together, and says they can play Clint Eastwood. Shamrock says he has faced the unfamiliar and untameable before, but when he gets in the ring, it's time to get it on. The Legion of Doom says this has nothing to do with America or Canada; instead, it's about survival of the fittest. Austin simply says nothing.

Universal recording artists Farmer's Daughter sing the Canadian national anthem. The Honorable Ralph Klein, Premier of the Province of Alberta and Stu and Helen Hart are noted in the crowd.

The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Brian Pillman) - who come out to immense cheers from the Canadian crowd - beat "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Goldust, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Goldust and The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) after Owen Hart comes back from being knocked out of the match and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin attacks members of the Hart family at ringside, which distracts Austin and allows Owen to win it for the Foundation with a roll-up. After the match, both sides brawl, and the Foundation celebrate in the ring afterwards after officlas and authorities break up the brawl. Austin then gets back in the ring with a steel chair, but the Foundation immediately beat him up. Austin is then handcuffed by officials and authorities and led to the back, and Austin flips off the fans on the way there. The Foundation then continues to celebrate in teh ring, this time with the rest of the Hart family as the Canadian crowd continues to cheer.
