Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for September 18, 1995

Pepe - Steve "Mongo" McMichael's dog in costume at the end of the first episode - not only reappears on commentary, but we also learn his name.

An ambulance pulls up, and The Taskmaster and The Giant come out. The Giant tells Hulk Hogan that he is the one true immortal - and not Hogan - after what he's done to Hogan. He wants Hogan to think about what he did to him last time.

Before the next match, Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) beat up "Earl" Robert Eaton before he and his tag team partner can get in the ring. Booker T says the world has seen what they have done to The Blue Bloods ("Lord" Steven Regal, "Squire" David Taylor, "Earl" Robert Eaton), and say that they are the world's tag team champions. The tag team belts are then immediately defended.

The American Males (Marcus Alexander Bagwell and Scotty Riggs) beat Harlem Heat to win the WCW World Tag Team Championships after Booker T is distracted by Col. Tom Parker, who comes into the ring and takes Sister Sherri into his arms from the ring apron behind the referee's back. Bagwell reverses a pump handle slam into a pinfall to take the tag titles.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Ric Flair inside the ring. We find out that Flair is facing Flyin' Brian later tonight. Flair says that "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson "broke the code" by "bringing an outsider into the forbidden land." Ric Flair wanted to settle this one-on-one, but Flyin' Brian interfered. As for Flyin' Brian, he plans to chop him so hard that Boomer Esiason will feel it in Long Island. He also plans to find "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson before the night is through.

This Saturday on Saturday Night: Sting vs. Lord Steven Regal! Cobra vs. Sgt. Craig "Pitbull" Pittman! Dusty Rhodes is interviewed! Updates on the condition of Hulk Hogan!

"Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff gets a surprise victory on Johnny B. Badd.

We see footage of "Macho Man" Randy Savage pumping iron on the set of Baywatch before The Taskmaster shows up, chokes Savage with the bar and tries to fight him. Ric Flair and two of the lifeguards get The Taskmaster off of him.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "Macho Man" Randy Savage in the ring. He tells Ric Flair thanks, but no thanks for saving him. He wants to take The Taskmaster's head off and destroy the man himself. He tells Hulk Hogan he is a horrible judge of character, and says Hulk Hogan hit him with a cheap shot that was totally uncalled for, then says you're either with him or against him, and says that Jimmy Hart, Lex Luger and Sting will be part of The Dungeon of Doom the next time we see The Dungeon. Lex Luger shows up and says Savage is like this either because Savage is jealous or wants to be the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Savage says he will be world champion, then tells Luger he hit him with a cheap shot on Sunday. Luger insists he's here to take on the big boys, but Savage says there's no bigger boy than him and challenges him to a match right now. He slaps Luger in the face, which definitely gets his attention. Okerlund tries to get out of dodge.

After the break, we learn that the ring has been cleared and that security has separated both "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Lex Luger after a series of slaps between the two men.

Ric Flair beats Flyin' Brian with the Figure Four Leg Lock. During the match, it is announced that Mike Tenay has the official story on the departure of another WCW star on the WCW Hotline. After the match, he makes it clear he wants a rematch with "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and challenges him for next week.

Next week: Disco Inferno vs. "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright! Col. Tom Parker and Kuroshiro! "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. The Taskmaster! Lex Luger vs. Meng!
