Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for April 24, 1993

Shawn Michaels beats Dale Wolfe. At the end of the match, he teases the Teardrop Suplex, but he pushes Dale Wolfe, who lands on his back on the mat, and pins him from there.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund advertises Monday Night Raw for this Monday night at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. Shawn Michaels squares off against "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan with the WWF Intercontinental Championship on the line. Meanwhile, at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday night, May 22nd at 8 PM - with $2 off for kids 12 and under - Money Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) will square off against The Mega Maniacs (Hulk Hogan and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake). We hear from The Mega Maniacs. Hulk says that now they have WrestleMania 9 behind them, they are more powerful than ever and they have Money Inc. where they want them. They know what the rules are, and thanks to manager Jimmy Hart, this one is signed, sealed and delivered. Jimmy Hart says that ever since Hulk Hogan has become WWF Champion, it was so easy to get the match signed by WWF President Jack Tunney. Brutus says that you could hit him in the head with a scud missile and it would not do anything, and they can take the mask, as taking Hogan's eye did not help them. Hulk tells Money Inc. they can huff and puff, but as far as blowing their brick house down, they can forget it, as Hulkamania will ride forever.

The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Reno Riggins and Billy Jones after Reno Riggins almost leaves Billy Jones high and dry. After the match, it is advertised that Smack 'Em Whack 'Em starring The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Butch and Bushwhacker Luke) and Lord Alfred Hayes is now available on VHS from Coliseum Video.

Raymond Rougeau interviews Bam Bam Bigelow. All of a sudden, Sensational Sherri walks out, calling out Luna Vachon for attacking her from behind at WrestleMania as even she is woman enough to confront her face to face. If Luna wants a piece of her, she's got it. Bam Bam butts in, saying this is his interview time, and eventually grabs her by the wrists and tells her to get out of his interview. Tatanka shows up and saves Sherri from Bam Bam, drop kicking him off the interview platform and hitting him from mid-air whenever he approaches. Referees and officials have to keep Bam Bam Bigelow away from Tatanka, and Sensational Sherri cheers for Tatanka as this is going on.

"El Matador" Tito Santana beats Louie Spicolli. Before the match, it is announced that "The Rocket" Owen Hart blew out his knee during his match against Bam Bam Bigelow last week, and that we will hear more later on.

Damian Demento beats K.C. Cleric. During the match, it is announced that Crush will face "The Narcissist" Lex Luger next week on Raw.

We see a vignette for The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn), who plan to face the good, the bad and the ugly in the WWF and hopefully ride tall in the saddle.
br /> "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan beats Tim Patterson.

We see the results of the investigation of "The Narcissist" Lex Luger's forearm. It is revealed that Luger has a steel plate in the forearm area just below the area, and that this plate was surgically implanted after a motorcycle accident. Since it is considered part of his anatomy, WWF President Jack Tunney's office is powerless to do anything about the implant even though it gives Luger an unfair advantage. We hear from Luger, who asks if it is unfair that he looks the way that he does while we look like we do, if is it fair that he has a steel plate implanted in his forearm after a motorcycle accident that Jack Tunney can do nothing about it, and if it is fair that Bret "Hit Man" Hart was knocked out at the WrestleMania brunch and subsequently lost the WWF Championship. He says it isn't, but says life isn't fair unless you're him.

Tatanka fails to show up before the next match with Steve Vega. We find out that Tatanka has been attacked backstage by Bam Bam Bigelow, who proceeds to cut an unconscious Tatanka's hair as referees and officials try in vain to stop him.

It is announced after the commercial break that Tatanka has regained consciousness following the attack from the hands of Bam Bam Bigelow.

Mr. Hughes beats Raven Clark. During the match, we see pre-recorded comments from Harvey Wippleman, who says that Mr. Hughes is tough, strong and not afraid of anything, much like himself. He tells Mr. Hughes that as a manager, he can do the most for him.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund re-advertises Monday Night Raw for this Monday night at the Manhattan Center in midtown Manhattan, New York. He also advertises the Nassau Coliseum show in Uniondale, New York on Saturday night, May 1st, where Mr. Perfect will challenge Shawn Michaels for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. We hear from Shawn, who says Mr. Perfect is all uptight because he gave him a beating the likes of which he has never seen, and now he wants a piece of him. Shawn says Mr. Perfect's golf game isn't up to par, and if Mr. Perfect spent less time on the green and more time making the green, he could have what he has: the Intercontinental title. Also at Nassau Coliseum, "The Narcissist" Lex Luger takes on Bret "Hit Man" Hart. We hear from Bret, who says that everyone is asking him how he feels that now that he is no longer WWF Champion. Bret says he feels a little bit naked, as he is used to having a title around his waist. The only way he is going to get it back is to go through everybody and get back to the top, starting with Luger. He says Luger loves himself and that metal plate in his forearm, but that stuff is over and the "nice guy" stuff is done as he changed plans. The first thing he will do is wipe Luger out, as Luger's bodybuilding days are the best thing he has to hang on to. Also on the Nassau Coliseum Card, Bob Backlund takes on Blake Beverly, Kamala takes on Bam Bam Bigelow, The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs) take on The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu), and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan takes on Yokozuna.

Mext week: "The Narcissist" Lex Luger! A special interview with The Undertaker! Doink vs. Mr. Perfect in a qualifying match for the King of the Ring Tournament!

Doink tells Mr. Perfect it's the two of them in a qualifying match for the King of the Ring Tournament, and he is on a roll. He wants to know if Mr. Perfect has perfect vision or double vision. Mr. Perfect tells Doink not to concern himself with his vision, because next week, the winner qualifies for the King of the Ring Tournament. All Doink should be concerned about is how he will get around him.
