Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for November 12, 2014
Konnan is bringing more guys from Mexico to Dario Cueto - Fenix, Pentagon Jr, and Drago - in order to give him the best fighters in the world. Cueto considers putting them all in a three-way dance against each other tonight. Konnan loves the idea.
Dario Cueto starts the show. Since people are complaining there's not enough Lucha, he's bringing more lucha, starting with El Mariachi Loco, who is already in the ring before Cueto arrives and is a guy that Cueto discovered himself and teases that he may play his tune if he wins tonight.
Mascarita Sagrada beats El Mariachi Loco. After the match, Chavo Guerrero Jr. shows up and attacks Mascarita.
Vampiro interviews Chavo Guerrero Jr. Chavo says that for the first time, he's leading the Guerrero legacy and doing it the family way. As for his actions last week, Guerrero dislikes Blue Demon Jr. because "he's more popular for what his daddy did" and considers himself better than him. Guerrero states that he's in Lucha Underground to be a star, even if he has to put a veteran in the hospital.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. meets up with Konnan. Konnan tells Chavo that word of his actions from last week has reached Mexico and recommends that he lay low. After Konnan walks away, Chavo briefly runs into Mil Muertes and Catrina. Catrina tells Chavo that he took something that doesn't belong to him and that he will soon belong to Mil Muertes.
Catrina explains the origin of Mil Muertes: as a child, he was nearly buried alive in the 1985 Mexico City earthquake which claimed the rest of his family, and the experience - which he survived - changed him into a person who is most comfortable upon the brink of death.
Mil Muertes beats Ricky Mandel.
Johnny Mundo meets up with Cisco and Cortez Castro while looking for Dario Cueto...and ends up fighting after he beats them up. Johnny Mundo is willing to work with him to bring him violence. All he needs is a match with Big Ryck. Dario Cueto makes the match official for next week's main event. As Mundo leaves, he tells Cueto that he's next after he's done with Big Ryck.
Big Ryck wants money to fight. Dario Cueto tells him it doesn't matter how much it costs, as he wants Johnny Mundo in a hospital next week.
We take a closer look at Prince Puma, who has been fighting all of his life with a mask that has been passed down for centuries by warriors who have given it honor.
Fenix beats Pentagon Jr. and Dragon in a triple threat match.
Dario Cueto vows not to be intimidated by Johnny Mundo...or the shadowy figure he is talking to...
