Nikki, J.J. and Kathy make it to the airport. Meanwhile, Nikki, Bryan and Johnny head to Sonoma, California for a Birdiebee business trip. She and Brie are coming out with a wine called "Bellaridici," which means "beautiful roots" in Italian.
Brie, J.J. and Kathy head to Sonoma. Brie has to make a restroom stop, which leads to a "let her pee" chant from Nikki, Bryan and Johnny when Kathy asks if they can get to where they are staying before they can. Nikki's driver is seen busting out laughing.
We see where Brie and Nikki's family are staying in Sonoma. J.J. facetimes Lauren and baby Vivian, as Lauren could not make it due to being sick.
J.J., Kathy, Brie, Nikki and Bryan are sitting out on the patio. Bryan mentions plans of doing a monthly seed delivery service with a friend of his named Jake, as it has been a dream of his and he wants to focus more on gardening. The conversation becomes awkwardly sexual when Bryan talks about how deep to plant seeds.
J.J. decides to prank everyone else in the house, and he and Johnny plant a fart machine underneath a chair.
Brie, Nikki and Kathy talk about the dinner. Kathy wants to make sure that they are prepared, and J.J. scares the heck out of Kathy.
Tim Tusk (owner of Tusk Estates), Ryan Hill (Vice President of Hill Family Estates) and Mark Wiegard (co-founder of Guage Granding) meet the Bella family. We also see Karen, the personal chef. Everyone sits at the table, and as they have a toast, the fart machine goes off. Nobody seems to notice . The marketing for Bellaridici, including what the labels will look like as well as the description of the wine, is revealed. The fart machine goes off again. Nobody notices. Two varieties of Bellaridici will be unveiled, and a dilemma occurs when Brie - who is close to having her baby - wants to take part in the taste test. The fart machine goes off again, and Kathy eventually finds the fart machine. Brie is a bit ticked off. John Cena calls Nikki, and when Kathy mentions the fart machine under the chair, John Cena says "that's kind of like having Nikki on your chair, I guess."
Brie, Nikki, Bryan, J.J., Kathy and Johnny have breakfast. J.J. challenges Kathy and Johnny to a short race where J.J. goes backwards. J.J. ends up being the slowest, and Johnny trips, making Kathy the winner. Brie and Nikki then talk about retirement, and mention that they have some bad social media people. Kathy would like to do the interview process to hire someone new, having crated a hiring firm years ago.
As Kathy, J.J., Johnny and Bryan go for a bike ride in Sonoma, Bryan asks for Kathy's opinion on his monthly seed business. Brie and Nikki talk about the planning for Bellaridici, and Brie laments that she cannot taste the win. Nikki tells her to do the swish and spit technique so that she does not drink it.
The Bella Family have a meal at a restaurant. Brie mentions the "sip and swish" technique to Bryan. Bryan still has his doubts, and mentions that people will probably judge her. The idea of making Nikki fake looking pregnant to see what Brie goes through is mentioned, and J.J. manages to find a silicone pregnant belly on the Internet. J.J. then decides to prank the family some more and show Brie and Nikki they are not always the center of attention, and asks a guy at the bar to take part in what he is about to do. The guy goes up to Brie and Nikki to ask for a picture, then poses with J.J> and Kathy instead. Everyone, including Brie and Nikki, thinks this is hilarious.
Back at the patio, J.J. pranks Johnny and Nikki again, and Nikki accidentally spills wine on Johnny. Nikki pushes J.J. into the pool.
Brie, Nikki and Kathy try out the silicone pregnant belly as they head to a winery with the rest of the family to a winery. A few people become concerned both inside and outside. Four women at a table are looking intently, and Brie and Nikki mention the experiment to them. They get some valuable insight, as two of them drank wine late into their pregnancies.
Brie mentions the results of the pregnant belly experiment to Bryan and tells him that she respects his wishes for her not to drink after seeing Nikki drink while fake pregnant. Bryan mentions that alcoholism runs in his family, while Brie says that all her family just look like alcoholics. J.J. pranks Brie and Bryan with the silicone pregnant belly.
Back at home, Kathy tries to rap. Kathy has a gift for Bryan: a business book, and Kathy mentions that Bryan is more receptive towards her advice than Brie and Nikki. Brie mentions that she and Nikki have more mentors to go to, and when Nikki says that she has John Cena for that, Kathy mentions that John Cena has asked her more questions about her business than Nikki ever has. Nikki says she is not interested in her business or in recruiting. J.J. mentions that they brought her into the business before and that it did not work out.
Bryan asks Brie and Nikki to be more sympathetic to their mom, and that Kathy was single and had J.J., Brie and Nikki when she started up her own business for the first time. Kathy shows up and asks them if it is easy having three kids at 21, and says that everyone slams her with it comes to every part of her life. Nikki thinks that Kathy has bottled up her emotions for so long. Bryan says that Kathy just wants to be listened to rather than be jumped on for every little thing. Johnny says that Kathy worries about embarrassing Brie and Nikki. Kathy doesn't want Brie and Nikki to make some of the same mistakes that she did, but says that maybe it is better not to cross that line. Everyone gives Kathy a "hip-hip-hooray" to Kathy before going to bed.
Everyone heads to the partners meeting to taste the wine. J.J> scars the heck out of Nikki as they head to the car, and Nikki falls down the stairs in heels. This time, the pranking goes too far, and Nikki thinks she may have broken her hand. Thankfully, she has only cut her left hand. J.J. says he will stop pranking people on the way to the meeting.
Everyone is at the wine tasting at the partners meeting. Brie agrees to smell the wine. Nikki feels on top of the world.
