Generation NXT - NXT recap for September 23, 2015

Eva Marie beats Carmella by count-out after Carmella hits her head on the ramp after being tossed out of the ring.

Tyler Breeze beats Bull Dempsey after pulling Bull off the top rope and using the ropes for leverage.

Asuka is coming up next.

We see footage from the Texas tour, which spanned Houston, Austin and San Antonio.

William Regal is in the ring, which has a table and chairs in it. Regal introduces Japanese women's wrestling superstar Kana, who will go by the name Asuka in NXT. Before she signs her contract, she says that she is happy to be here in NXT. She calls it a dream come true, and plans to become a champion. She then signs, but before she can shake hands with Regal, Dana Brooke and Emma show up. They call themselves "NXT's welcoming committee," say they're the ones in charge here, and that they ran Charlotte and Becky Lynch out of NXT. They tell Asuka to get out of their ring, and she does...but at the top of the ramp, she looks back at them with a smile, her eyes read. Emma and Dana don't know what to make of it.

Tyler Breeze's match against Apollo Crews is official for NXT TakeOver: Respect. Apollo Crews messes with Breeze backstage.

In Austin, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson beat The Vaudevillians (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) to continue on in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Finn Balor and Samoa Joe take on Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady next week as part of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) plan to beat Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. Meanwhile, JJ and Gable tell them that their road ends here. The winner of this match will take on Rhyno and Baron Corbin in the semi-finals.

The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) retain the NXT Tag Team Championships against Blake and Murphy. Early in the match, Blue Pants returns and takes Alexa Bliss out of the equation.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady plan to beat Samoa Joe and Finn Balor in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, saying that their respect for them is going to go out the window. As for Joe and Balor, they tell Enzo and Big Cass they're looking at the two big dogs on the block.
