Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 3, 2015

The show starts with a tribute to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Everyone wears a black "Hot Rod" shirt as everyone stands at the ramp as the ring bell tolls ten times. WWE then pays tribute to Piper via video package.

Seth Rollins shows up. He says that Seth Rollins is the only man who can slow him down, and says that he is too sympathetic for his own good, citing when he broke Cena's nose last week as a perfect example of that. He says he will never lose a match in the fashion that he lost against Cena last week ever again. He then makes a proposition to Cena: they go at it again with both titles on the line at SummerSlam. He then brags about this being the site of himself winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as well as John Cena's first ever United States Open Challenge, and decides to make an open challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship...right now.

Seth Rollins tells Jojo his World Heavyweight Championship open challenge is legit, with only two caveats decided by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon: his opponent must be under 6 feet tall and under 200 pounds. So Jojo asks if his opponent is El Torito, and Rollins jokingly says yes. El Torito's music hits, but Torito does not appear. Instead, Rollins' opponent is none other than Neville.

Seth Rollins narrowly retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Neville.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) guest on commentary for the next match.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) beat Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) and The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto).

Charlotte and Becky Lynch beat The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) after Nikki Bella submits to Charlotte's Figure Eight. After the match, Team BAD (Naomi, Tamina, Sasha Banks) are unimpressed with Charlotte and Becky's victory, and Naomi challenges Paige to a match before mocking UFC fighter Ronda Rousey.

It's Miz TV time. The Miz calls his show the second-most must-watch show tonight in respect for "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, whom he says that without Piper's Pit, there would be no talk segments like Miz TV and others throughout the years. Miz tells Ryback to vacate the WWE Intercontinental Championship and says it should go to him if Ryback can't fight for it. He then introduces Kevin Owens, who tells Miz he's a big fan of his. As for Cesaro, Owens thinks he's jealous of him, then Cesaro shows up as if on cue. Cesaro says he's just here for a front row seat to hear what "Walk Owens Walk" has to say. Owens says Cesaro is jealous of him as he has succeeded where Cesaro has failed, and says Cesaro will never match up to him. Cesaro says he's not jealous; instead, he's ashamed and embarassed of him for being such a coward. Owens responds by saying he's done more in WWE in three months than Cesaro has in three years, and if he wants to go, let's go. Miz gets excited, and both Owens and Cesaro tell him to shut up. Owens then says that tonight isn't the night for this, and Cesaro responds by telling Owens to "Walk Owens Walk." Owens rushes back in and pushes Miz into Cesaro, but Cesaro almost gets the Cesaro Swing in before Owens breaks away and retreats.

Rusev beats "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry. After the match, Rusev kicks Mark Henry in the face yet again.

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper are onscreen. They plan to take the fight to Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose tonight. Sheamus shows up to send a message to Randy Orton.

King Barrett mocks Zack Ryder for not having a crown despite being "the Internet King" before the next match.

King Barrett beats Zack Ryder.

Mark Henry and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) take on The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) this Thursday on SmackDown!

Paul Heyman is here. He says that Undertaker has picked this fight with Brock Lesnar due to his inability to beat Lesnar. He says that 'Taker cannot live with himself, having never beaten Lesnar, before introducing Lesnar himself. Lesnar shows up, takes some steel steps, tosses them into the ring and then places them in the center of the ring, where he stands on them. Heyman puts Lesnar on a pedestal before stating that Lesnar will destroy The Undertaker at SummerSlam to the point that he'll need last rites instead of an ambulance.

Paige beats Naomi with the PTO.

Stephen Amell is heading to Raw next week after Stardust says that if Neville won't be hero...who will? Amell and Stardust have been in a Twitter war, and after Neville refuses to "be Stardust's hero," Amell tweets "You asked for it...see you next week."

We revisit the tribute to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are ready to crack Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper's heads. Randy Orton shows up and tells them to leave Sheamus to him.
