Eric Young, Jeff Hardy, Ethan Carter III and Bobby Roode head to the ring and pick members for their team, while also captaining their respective teams. The teams are as follows:

Team Young: Eric Young (captain), Abyss, Bram, Manik, Samuel Shaw, and Havok
Team Hardy: Jeff Hardy (captain), Davey Richards, Gunner, Rockstar Spud, Crazzy Steve, and Gail Kim
Team EC3: Ethan Carter III (captain), James Storm, Robbie E, Jessie Godderz, Tyrus. and Awesome Kong
Team Roode: Bobby Roode (captain), Mr. Anderson, Lashley, Magnus, Austin Aries, and Taryn Terrell

Each win equals one point for the winning team. Whoever wins the most points earns the TNA World Cup of Wrestling.

Austin Aries beats Bram, earning one point for Team Roode.

Lashley beats James Storm, earning one point for Team Roode.

The Bro Mans (Jessie Godderz and Robbie E) beat Mr. Anderson and Magnus, earning one point for Team EC3.

Rockstar Spud and Davey Richards beat The Revolution (Abyss and Manik), earning one point for Team Hardy.

Samuel Shaw beats Crazzy Steve, earning one point for Team Young.

Awesome Kong beats Havok in a hardcore match, earning one point for Team EC3.

Tyrus beats Gunner, earning one point for Team EC3.

Gail Kim beats Taryn Terrell, earning one point for Team Hardy.

Jeff Hardy beats Eric Young, Ethan Carter III and Bobby Roode in a four-way match, earning one point for Team Hardy.

Team Hardy (Jeff Hardy, Davey Richards, Gunner, Rockstar Spud, Crazzy Steve and Gail Kim) beat Team EC3 (Ethan Carter III, James Storm, Robbie E, Jessie Godderz, Tyrus and Awesome Kong) in a team elimination match to break the tie with a grand total of four points to win the World Cup of Wrestling.
