Old-School Raw Deal - Raw recap for January 6, 2014

Ric Flair starts the show off. As he psyches the crowd up, Randy Orton shows up. He has respect for Flair, but the night's about him. He's ticked off that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have made the rematch for both titles between him and John Cena at Royal Rumble, and wants them to reverse this decision as he has already proven he is "the man." Flair thinks otherwise, saying all he's doing about this is crying and whining and says Orton should fight Cena again. Orton calls Flair the most overrated wrestler in history, and when Orton tells Flair to leave the ring, Flair doesn't budge, and tells Orton he's never outgrown his immature punk attitude - the same one he had when Flair and Triple H took him in ten years ago. Orton wants to go old-school on Flair's ass, but John Cena shows up to defend Ric Flair. When he tells Orton to fight him right now, Orton retreats.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Rey Mysterio beat The Wyatt Family (Daniel Bryan, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan) when Luke Harper gets angry with Daniel Bryan for tagging himself in.

Batista has officially entered the Royal Rumble match!

Brad Maddox makes a rematch between Damien Sandow and The Great Khali. The WWE App will dictate who will referee the match: Bob Backlund, Arn Anderson or Sgt. Slaughter. Meanwhile, Kane confronts Maddox concerning last week's comments about him...and gets him good.

Big E Langston meets Nikolai Volkoff, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster backstage.

A big announcement that changes the face of WWE forever happens Wednesday night at Las Vegas at 9:30 PM Eastern time! It will be on WWE.com! Vince McMahon, John Cena, Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels and Triple H will be there!

Ryback guests on commentary for the next match.

Big E Langston beats Curtis Axel despite the distraction from Ryback.

It's time for Piper's Pit! "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's guest tonight are The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns). They show Piper disrespect, but Piper shrugs it off before saying that CM Punk is the only one who can match him on the microphone. Rollins thinks Piper is jealous towards Ambrose over his United States title reign, but Piper says Ambrose and Rollins can't beat Punk one-on-one. He asks Roman Reigns whether he would be the better Shield member if he beat Punk tonight. The Shield take offense and are about to pummel him when CM Punk and The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) show up to clean house!

Alberto Del Rio beats Sin Cara.

Daniel Bryan tries to talk sense in to Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, and wants to contribute to the Wyatt Family with either of the two men. Bray Wyatt tells Bryan it won't be necessary. Next week, Daniel Bryan teams with Bray Wyatt!

Cody Rhodes and Goldust beat The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro).

Booker T and Diamond Dallas Page catch up on old times...and DDP Yoga. Also, Ron Simmons says "Damn."

Sgt. Slaugher is the referee for Damien Sandow vs. The Great Khali. Also, Ranjin Singh accomplanies Khali for one night only!

The Great Khali beats Damien Sandow, even though Sandow's foot was on the bottom rope. Sandow gets the Cobra Clutch when he gets fresh with Sgt. Slaughter. Afterwards, Slaughter, Khali and Ranjin Singh dance in the ring.

Brock Lesnar and Pual Heyman show up. Heyman verbally trashes the Legends, saying old-school is really when one man reigns supreme. Heyman then says Lesnar will eventually reign supreme in WWE, with "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry being but the first example. Mark Henry shows up, and he and Lesnar brawl until Lesnar breaks Henry's arm with the Kimura Lock. As Lesnar and Heyman leave, Big Show shows up. He and Lesnar take it to the ring, but Lesnar retreats...almost. Heyman and Lesnar go for a sneak attack, but it fails miserably when Big Show - both figuratively and literally - tosses Lesnar like a rag doll. Lesnar is absolutely livid and Heyman has to hold Lesnar back.

R-Truth and Xavier Woods take on The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro) this Wednesday on Main Event!

Mark Henry's elbow has been dislocated and fractured by the Kimura Lock.

Aksana and Alicia Fox beat The Bella Twins.

Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay, Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty) are here!

Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay, Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty) beat 3MB (Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre)...and dance.

Next week: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) face Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan on Raw!

All of tonight's WWE Legends show up...as does The Godfather! Then Bad News Barrett buts in afterward and makes fun of them all!

Randy Orton takes on Big E Langston this Friday on SmackDown!

"Mean" Gene Okerlund makes a reference to the WCW Hotline, then introduce the New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gun). They hype the crowd up and introduce CM Punk, then stay in Punk's corner.

Roman Reigns beats CM Punk...then Jake "The Snake" Roberts shows up with a bag. The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) and CM Punk clean house, then Roberts opens the bag and sics the ever-popular snake on a downed Dean Ambrose.
