Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 7, 2000

RAW

X-Pac and Tori show up to start tonight's show, but so do the "radicals," Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero, the last of whom has his arm left in a cast. Saturn says they are not here to start here, and that last week, they tried to make some noise and make an impact, but more than anything, they wanted a contract to wrestle in the WWF. Malenko says this past Thursday, they were given the one opportunity to make their way into the World Wrestling Federation. They were good, but on that night, they just weren't good enough. Eddie takes the opportunity to thank the fans for their support just for the privilege of being able to perform in front of them. Benoit says they also came here tonight to personally thank Cactus Jack for making the opportunity possible, and asks if Cactus Jack is in the house. Cactus Jack shows up, but so does Triple H and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. Stephanie says that this convocation of admiration makes her want to puke, and asks Cactus Jack what it will take, as he could not get the job done at Royal Rumble while the "radicals" played the game and lost last week, and asks if Cactus Jack's next plan is the Dallas Cowboys' defensive line, the 82nd Airborne or the Russian army. If he will not stop, neither will she or Triple H. Triple H tells Cactus Jack that he makes him sick, and that his patience is starting to wear very thin regarding the situation. He says Cactus Jack and the "radicals" could not get the job done and they are still in his face. He says it is time to finish it once and for all, and he proposes that he and Cactus Jack go at it one more time at No Way Out with this match being Cactus Jack's last shot at him and the WWF Championship. Cactus Jack can have any match he wants, but there will be no 2x4s wrapped in barbed wire, thumbtacks or any other sharp metallic objects or "sadistic toys." Cactus Jack says this does not sound like a lot of fun, but he is left with no other choice: Hell In A Cell. He tells Triple H he has his match, and asks if he has the guts to face him again. Triple H tells Cactus Jack he has a deal, but he wants Cactus Jack's career on the line, and if he beats Cactus Jack, he is finished and Mick Foley - not just Cactus Jack, but also Mankind and Dude Love - will be forced to retire. Cactus Jack says he has done it all in his career, including being a three-time WWF Champion, an eight-time tag team champion, the original Hardcore champion and the king of the Japanese death match. If Triple H wants his career, then he has done it all except for one thing: he has never main evented at WrestleMania. He then adds that stipulation that if and when he wins, he will go to WrestleMania as WWF Champion and take on the winner of Big Show vs. The Rock at No Way Out in the main event. Triple H tells Cactus Jack he has 20 days left in his glorious 15-year career, because at the Hell In A Cell Match, he will end his career and end it for him, as he takes what he wants, when he wants it, and right now, he wants a piece of his ass. Triple H gets on the apron with X-Pac close behind. He then tells the "radicals" to get out of the ring and save themselves a beating, or he can show appreciation to the man that gave them an opportunity and their contracts. The "radicals" then turn on Cactus Jack, then X-Pac hits Cactus Jack with a Bronco Buster. The "radicals" then further decimate Cactus Jack, and Triple H tells Cactus Jack that this is the beginning of the days and to relish the next 20 days, as it will be the end at No Way Out. He then hits the Pedigree on Cactus Jack, and Triple H, X-Pac, Stephanie and Tori celebrate with the "radicals."

Backstage, Triple H tells the "radicals" - Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero - that they will team up with him and X-Pac and anybody he can find. If Cactus Jack cannot find anybody, he is on his own in a 5-on-1 handicap match.

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) retain the WWF Tag Team Championships against Edge and Christian after Buh Buh Ray Dudley gets on the apron and hits Christian with a neckbreaker on the top rope while Road Dogg distracts referee Tim White. The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) show up at the commentary table at the beginning of the match, and Buh Buh Ray threatens Jim Ross while D-Von guests on commentary. After the match, Edge attacks Buh Buh Ray from behind, and The Dudley Boyz run away.

Backstage, "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry not to come to the ring and stay backstage so their unborn child will be safe.

Members of the Dallas Stars hockey team and Dallas Mavericks baseball team are seen in the front row.

Before the next match, Kurt Angle says that every night, he comes out to the ring and offers his services to be the people's sports hero. Tonight, he will not do that; instead, he wants to talk about his opponent, "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry. He says Mark may think they are both alike because they were Olympians, but that is where the similarities end as he won Olympic gold, came to the WWF and started an undefeated streak that shocked the world, Mark Henry's greatest accomplishment was impregnating an 82-year-old woman. He says that while that may have required a lot of intensity, it definitely lacked integrity and intelligence, and while impregnating elderly women and living in sin may be acceptable in Dallas, Texas, it is not acceptable to him.

Kurt Angle beats "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry by disqualification. During the match, Mae Young shows up and gets in the ring with Angle after Angle throws Mark Henry out of the ring, but Mae Young ends up being slammed into the mat. B.B. checks on Mae Young after the match, as does Mark Henry, who is distraught.

We see footage from during the commercial break where Mae Young is taken to the back on a stretcher. Backstage, "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry and The Fabulous Moolah check on Mae Young, who gets up and says she likes it on top and not on her back before proceeding to get topless in front of the EMTs, who are immediately horrified. Mark Henry has to cover Mae Young up quickly.

Backstage, Crash Holly asks Hardcore Holly if what they are doing is a good idea. Hardcore Holly says that it is a great idea, and says that if they can get a hardcore win on The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw), they can get back on top. Crash Holly then proposed being competition to the Acolytes' protection agency, but Hardcore Holly thinks Crash is crazy and that he has probably hit him upside the head one too many times.

The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) beat The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) in a hardcore tag team match after Viscera shows up, slips on the floor near the concession stand, gets back up and hits Bradshaw in the back with a wooden board with enough force to split it in two and send Bradshaw crashing into a nearby wooden table.

Before the next match, Chris Jericho welcomes everyone to "Raw is Jericho" before talking about how he has to wrestle Viscera, saying he feels intimidated by "the love child of Mr. T and Fat Albert." He tells "Viscera the Hutt" he pities the fool who messes with Y2J.

WAR ZONE

Chris Jericho retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Viscera by disqualification when The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) show up and attack Jericho along with Viscera. The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) then run into the ring and go after Viscera, and tey and Jericho clean house.

Michael Cole interviews Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero. Malenko says they showed their appreciation, and Guerrero says they are no fools and that Cactus Jack fooled himself into thinking friendship comes before business. Benoit says Cactus Jack has no stroke, and that Triple H and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley have all the stroke in the world, and they have done what anyone else would have done. He says there is no need for the four of them to apologize for what they have done or for what they are about to do, as it all boils down into the almighty dollar. Malenko says that they got themselves into this situation, and that desperate people do desperate things. Saturn says he never liked Cactus Jack anyway, and if Cactus Jack cannot find any tag team partners, then he will be more desperate than they were.

Kevin Kelly is outside The Rock's locker room waiting for The Rock to make a comment on Cactus Jack's current situation later tonight.

Gangrel tries to calm Luna Vachon down, telling her that if she sticks to their gameplan, she can win the Women's Championship.

Jacqueline retains the WWF Women's Championship against Luna Vachon. During the match, it is announced that next week's Raw will air at 11 PM Eastern due to the Westminster Dog Show. After the match, Luna continues to fight Jacqueline, who ends up being hit with an Impaler by Gangrel.

We see a video package of Tazz.

Kevin Kelly interviews The Rock. The Rock ends up asking Kevin Kelly if he has ever had pie, then asks if he has ever had poontang pie. The Rock knows Kevin Kelly has never had it, as to his right, he has his first-ever piece of poontang pie waiting for him. We then see the Poontang Pie T-shirt, which he drapes over Kevin Kelly's head. He says he does not care who the WWF Champion is at WrestleMania, as Big Show will not stand in his way at No Way Out as he was meant to go to WrestleMania. At No Way Out, he will take his big right hand, slap the fat off his ass and hand it back to him. Kevin Kelly is then seen checking his watch, and The Rock asks him if poontang pie is boring him before he says it will be a long time before he has poontang pie again and he will have him to thank for it. As for tonight, he will team with Cactus Jack against Triple H and the "radicals" (Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero). He welcomes the "radicals" to his world, and tells them to take their contracts, roll them up real nice, put rubber bands on them and stick them straight up their candy asses.

D'Lo Brown and The Godfather talk about the hos they have tonight backstage.

The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) beat D'Lo Brown and The Godfather. During the match, the hos get on the apron, and Buh Buh Ray Dudley hits The Godfather with a chop block as the hos distract referee Tim White. After the match, D-Von grabs B.B. - who is checking on The Godfather - and Buh Buh Ray nearly puts her through a table when Edge and Christian come out of the crowd and fight the Dudleys along with The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy).

Michael Cole interviews Cactus Jack. In twenty days, he tells everyone not to count him out, as he was not supposed to be here due to not being handsome enough, strong enough and big enough. He will not let Triple H and four ingrates stand in his way, and that he is fully prepared to go 1-on-5. He did not expect The Rock to volunteer, but he will accept his help. As for whether 5-on-2 is good enough for him, he says it is going to have to be, because he will get through tonight and Hell In A Cell and go on to WrestleMania, for it is meant to be.

As WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley guests on commentary for the next match, Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay, Scotty 2 Hotty, Rikishi) joins Cactus Jack and The Rock's team, making tonight's main event 5-on-5.

Triple H, X-Pac, Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko beat Cactus Jack, The Rock and Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay, Scotty 2 Hotty, Rikishi) after referee Earl Hebner fails to see Grandmaster Sexay tag Cactus Jack in. Both teams continue to brawl after the match is over, and The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) lay out Cactus Jack and The Rock with metal pipes. The arena goes dark, then Paul Bearer makes a surprise appearance for the first time in quite some time. He accompanies Kane to the ring, and commands Kane to go after Triple H. Kane lays out everyone who is on Triple H and X-Pac's side to end the show.
