SuperBrawl VI - The Results

The Nasty Boys (Jerry Saggs and Brian Knobbs) beat Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and Rocco Rock) in a Street Fight.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund says that on the WCW Hotline, he'll talk about the rumor of two former World Wrestling Federation champions who may be coming to World Championship Wrestling (in hindsight, this is a reference to Razor Ramon and Diesel) along with Mike Tenay, and also supply backstage coverage of SuperBrawl VI. He then interviews Konnan, who thanks the fans for congratulating him on his WCW United States Championship win. He tells the fans that he won't let them down, and tells One Man Gang that he may be bigger and heavier than him, but he's got a gameplan. He's beaten him once, and he can beat him again.

Johnny B. Badd beats Diamond Dallas Page to retain the WCW World Television Championship, earn Kimberly's $6.6 million back from Page and retain her services. (Had Page won, he would have taken the title, kept the money and taken Kimberly back.) Kimberly says she doesn't know what she's going to do with the money, but she's going to put the money to better use than Page would.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray). Stevie says there comes a time in a man's life to put his foot down about things going on, and tells Lex Luger that he committed grand larceny and they're going to get him and Sting. He promises that they will be the best team in WCW again and own the gold when the smoke clears. Booker T says Sting and Luger have no idea what they've gotten themselves into, saying they pulled on them what they wanted to pull on Sting and Luger. They tell their opponents to watch their backs, as they refuse to leave without the tag team titles. As for The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk), it's 1996 and not 1976, and he's taking the tag team picture into the future.

Sting and Lex Luger retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) when The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) show up and Animal hits Stevie Ray in the back with the same kind of metal plate that Lex Luger hit Animal with on Nitro as the ref is outside of the ring dealing with Sting and Booker T. After the match, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Sting and Luger, who tells Sting that he told him that he would hold his end of the bargain. Much like Luger, Sting doesn't care how the match ended and are just happy that they're still tag team champs.

Konnan retains the WCW United States Championship against One Man Gang. During the match, WCW Motorsports driver Steve Grissom is seen in the crowd.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund mentions the hot gossip from earlier again to advertise the WCW Hotline, then interviews The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk). Animal says it's eye for an eye in WCW, and that they have nothing against Sting and Luger, but tells Sting that believing in Luger is a big mistake. As for Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray), they tell them to get in line if they have a problem. Hawk makes it clear that he and Animal are going to punish Sting and Luger when they get in the ring.

The Taskmaster beats Flyin' Brian in an "I Respect You" Match in 45 seconds, before the strap can even be untangled and tied to both men. (Flyin' Brian says "I respect you, bookerman," a reference to the fact that The Taskmaster, Kevin Sullivan, is a booker in WCW. The "booker man" part is removed from the VHS release, but retained on the WWE Network. He then flips off the crowd on the way to the back.) After Brian leaves, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson shows up. The Taskmaster hits him with the strap and tells him to put it on. Despite not even being dressed for a match, Arn Anderson accepts the challenge.

During The Taskmaster vs. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in an "I Respect You" Match, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up and tries to get them back on the same page. After he succeeds, he promises that Hulkamania will be destroyed and that he will take the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Anderson then tells The Taskmaster that if he wants to get Hogan and Savage, he'd get into bed with the Devil himself.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Jimmy Hart and The Giant. Hart tells Hulk Hogan he's got one eye and not a lot of time before Hulkamania is over. The Giant says he has seen the darkest, deepest reaches of men's souls where the maggots crawl, and that all that is bad and evil is inside of him and it is building like a volcano about to erupt, and it will erupt all over Hogan. He says that the last thing that will go through Hogan's mind is his fist, and that the only thing Hulk Hogan can do is understand that Hulkamania is through forever. Hart doesn't care if he can't get in the cage, as Hogan is finished. The Giant comes back and confronts Okerlund when he mentions Hogan after Jimmy Hart leaves.

Before the next match, Lex Luger is reluctant to get in the ring against The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) with Sting to defend the WCW World Tag Team Championships. After some hesitation - and The Road Warriors removing their spiked shoulder pads - Luger gets into the match, and the match begins.

The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) vs. Sting and Lex Luger for the WCW World Tag Team Championship ends in a double count-out. After the match, the fights spills backstage.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Woman. Flair says that Hogan's master plan of turning The Taskmaster against "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson has failed again, and he plans to walk into the cage and take the WCW World Heavyweight Championship back from "Macho Man" Randy Savage. There may be a ride on Space Mountain afterwards...

WCW Uncensored returns to pay-per-view on March 24!

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Miss Elizabeth. "Macho Man" Randy Savage rushes in and says he, Hulk Hogan and Miss Elizabeth are The Mega Powers again. He says it will be complete mental insanity in the cage against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and says that he and Hogan are stronger as a unit than ever before as they plan to divide and conquer.

Before the next match, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair gives Miss Elizabeth one last chance to walk up to his and "kiss a real man" before he hurts Savage badly. Elizabeth refuses.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair beats "Macho Man" Randy Savage in a steel cage match to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship for a 13th time after Woman tries to toss powder into Savage's face and fails, which distracts the referee. This proves to be a smokescreen for Miss Elizabeth to turn on Savage by handing Flair one of her high heels to use as a weapon. Flair hits Savage with the shoe as the referee's back is turned to seal the deal. Hulk Hogan shows up and confronts Miss Elizabeth and Woman, then goes after Ric Flair and "The Enforcer' Arn Anderson, who entered the cage to celebrate with Flair. Referees and Hulk Hogan have to help Savage to the back.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Hulk Hogan, who is furious that Miss Elizabeth turned on "Macho Man" Randy Savage tonight. As he wraps his fist up with tape, he says that his match is unsanctioned and that the only way to survive is to climb over the top of the cage as the referee will be on the outside. Despite his bad eye, Hulk knows that the only person who can watch his blindside is himself.

Hulk Hogan beats The Giant in a Steel Cage Match. The Taskmaster is waiting for Hogan with a steel chair after he climbs out, but Hogan overpowers him, chases him into the cage and confronts both The Taskmaster and The Giant with the steel chair. Meng, The Barbarian, The Shark, Hugh Morrus, The Zodiac and One Man Gang all get into the ring, but Hulk Hogan fights them all off simultaneously and forces them all to retreat. The newest member of the Dungeon Doom, Loch Ness, finall shows up, but he has to be held back by the rest of The Dungeon of Doom after everyone else is out of the cage.
