Layin 'da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for December 20, 2013

Randy Orton goes to the ring. He complains about Monday night's match, then brags about leaving Daniel Bryan and John Cena lying where he beat them. Cena shows up and tells Orton he has a target on his chest now that he has the unified championship. When Cena asks Orton how he'd like to be remembered, Orton doesn't seem to care, and as Orton yells at Cena, Daniel Bryan shows up. Bryan says Orton is afreaid of Daniel Bryan beating him, and says Cena will beat Orton, leaving Daniel Bryan to a fair shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Orton says Triple H and Stephanie McMahon won't allow for such a thing, and Bryan tells Orton that even though he's champion, he's still not the face of the company. The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up...but so does CM Punk! Vickie Guerrero shows up and puts The Shield in a six-man tag match against Cena, Bryan and Punk.

Zeb Colter guests on commentary for the next match.

Big E Langston beats Jack Swagger.


AJ Lee guests on commentary for the next match.

Brie Bella beats Tamina Snuka...and AJ Lee gets smacked!


Sin Cara beats Drew McIntyre.


Tons of Funk have imploded, as Brodus Clay and Tensai finally go one-on-one after the mess at TLC. Xavier Woods dances with the Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi), distracting Brodus Clay and giving Tensai the win! Woods and Tensai team up to send Brodus packing!


The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) beat Cody Rhodes and Goldust. Daniel Bryan comes out with a steel chair to save Cody Rhodes from a Sister Abigail.


Damien Sandow is sickened with Christmas and plans to cancel it on Raw this Monday when The Miz shows up. He shuts Sandow up, saying he couldn't carry Santa's sack.

Damien Sandow grabs the tights to beat The Miz.


Fandango beats Kofi Kingston.


Renee Young intervies Daniel Bryan, but backs away when The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper) surround and attack him!


John Cena and CM Punk vs The Sheld (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) ends in a no contest. The Shield hit Cena with a three-man powerbomb and almost do the same to Punk when Big E Langston rushes in and cleans house! He and Reigns stare each other down before The Shield retreat.

Layin' da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for May 10, 2013

Chris Jericho starts the show off with his Highlight Reel, with Ryback as his guest. Jericho knows where Ryback is coming from, and knows Ryback has no scruples. Ryback thinks Jericho is judging him, when in actuality the WWE Universe is doing just that. Jericho tells him to be careful if he wins the title as he could lose everyone's respect. Ryback threatens to clobber Jericho, but Teddy Long shows up and put them in tonight's main event. Ryback then hits Jericho with a cheap shot before he leaves.



Kofi Kingston beats Cody Rhodes.



Triple H and Brock Lesnar will meet face-to-face next week on Raw.

Renee Young interviews Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Colter hopes Swagger will send a message by beating Big E Langston.



Alberto Del Rio guests on commentary for the next match...then throws a ladder into the ring after pulling one out from underneath it. This causes a tug-of-war game with the ladder between Big E Langston and Jack Swagger, which deteriorates between a free-for-all - Langston and Dolph Ziggler vs Swagger and Zeb Colter. Alberto Del Rio gets involved and beans both Ziggler and Swagger with the ladder before putting it back in the ring, climbing up it and lifting the World title into the air.



The match between Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose deteriorates with a 2-on-1 fight between Kane and the team of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of The Shield happening ringside. Kofi Kingston jumps in and helps Kane and D-Bry clean house!



"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry pulls a 55,000-pound tractor-trailer for WWE.com...and he's hoping to break a world record tonight by pulling two trucks weighing a combination of 100,000 pounds!

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry manages to do the supposedly undo-able - he pushes two tractor-trailers weighing a combined 100,000 pounds. The WWE Universe gives him a standing ovation.



Renee Young interviews Randy Orton. Orton has plans to take out Big Show at Extreme Rules.

Big Show beats Tensai...then beats up Brodus Clay. He almost knocks Clay out, but Randy Orton runs in and gives show an RKO.



AJ Lee and Kaitlyn have a war of words until Natalya shows up. Kaitlyn and Natalya talk about the former's "mystery admirer," and The Great Khali shows up twice - the first time in a Rey Mysterio mask and again with a Cody Rhodes mustache. Still, not much is known.



Chris Jericho beats Ryback by disqualification after ramming Jericho crotch-first into the turnbuckle post at ringside. After the match, Ryback hits Jericho with a Meat Hook to close out the show.

Saturday Morning Slam Masters - Saturday Morning Slam recap for March 16, 2013

Booker T is in the ring. He finally has a man for the Saturday Morning Slam General Manager job: Mick Foley! He's happy to be here, but Daniel Bryan shows up and says he should be the one riunning the show. Mick tells him he's got passion, and that he's looking for an assistant. Dolph Ziggler, AJ and Big E Langston show up and say they should be running the show only to get in a "Yes! No!" argument with D-Bry. Mick Foley has a solution: a match between D-Bry and Ziggler right now, with the winner becoming assistant.

Alberto Del Rio tells us: Don't Try This.

Daniel Bryan beats Dolph Ziggler.

Mick Foley meets Brodus Clay and Tensai. He tells them their dancing is missing a little bit of Dude Love action. Rosa Mendes puts them down in Spanish.

Brodus Clay and Tensai beat Primo and Epico.

Now go watch Kane be all awkward-creepy with Halle Berry!

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for February 15, 2013

Big Show starts things off tonight in Little Rock, Arkansas! He enters the ring, and is annoyed people find last week's bus incident funny. He goes on to say that Alberto Del Rio hasn't pinned him and never will, especially not at Elimination Chamber. Chris Jericho shows up, and Big Show is amazed Jericho is here. After plugging Robot Combat League (February 26th on SyFy!), Jericho says he's glad to be here tonight, and reminds show that if they both win their respective matches Sunday, they'll have to fight each other at WrestleMania. Big Show says if it happens, he'll retire Jericho. Booker T shows up, says that we don't know if it'll happen, and makes Show vs. Jericho the main event tonight.

Matt Striker interviews Randy Orton about fighting Mark Henry tonight...but Mark Henry's appearance alone stops the interview!

Mark Henry beats Randy Orton by disqualification after Orton hits Mark Henry with a chair. Orton goes for the coup-de-grace, but Mark Henry deflects the chair away and hits the World's Strongest Slam on Orton.



Mark Henry tells Matt Striker that the Hall of Pain is open for business. The armed forces had better be there, because he's an unstoppable force.

Tamina Snuka beats Layla. Kaitlyn is seen watching from backstage during the match.



The Rock enters the ring. He says running off with the WWE title doesn't make CM Punk a champion. Also, it's just a trade - the title in exchange for an ass-whipping. He promises he'll retain the title at Elimination Chamber, then Punk and Paul Heyman show up on the TitanTron live via satellite. Punk says "The People's Era" will come to an end, especially if he lets The Rock beat himself so the title changes hands back to him with the disqualification stipulation. The Rock calls CM Punk a spoiled little boy, and tells him he'll go on to WrestleMania.



Brodus Clay and Tensai beat Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal of 3MB. The Shield show up after the match and take out Tensai and Brodus, with the latter getting a triple powerbomb. Dean Ambrose tells John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback that they will learn actions have consequences...and that they will believe in The Shield.



The Miz beats Cody Rhodes with the Figure Four Leg Lock.



Jack Swagger beats Zack Ryder with the Patriot Act. Zeb Coulter talks about how America is broken and makes fun of Zack Ryder.



Matt Striker interviews Alberto Del Rio. He may not have pinned Big Show, but he'll still win on Sunday.

Big Show beats Chris Jericho. Alberto Del Rio stares Show down from the entrance ramp.

Wednesday Night Main Event - Main Event recap for January 30, 2013

The show starts with The Miz...and Miz TV! He introduces Ryback, who shows up, grabs a microphone and tells Miz he's a fan of the show despite destroying the entire set last time. They joke around a bit, then mention Ryback is taking on Antonio Cesaro. After a recap of their match last week, Ryback says that Cesaro won't be as lucky this week. Cesaro shows up and starts generalizing Americans, saying they're all the same while calling Miz and Ryback "typical, conniving Americans." Ryback tells Cesaro "If you're going to run this week, you'd better start now." Their match then starts.



Antonio Cesaro manages to escape Ryback...and roundhouse kicks The Miz in the face before escaping through the crowd. Ryback beats Antonio Cesaro by count-out.



The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) make fun of Tensai for his dancing on Raw earlier this week, while Brodus Clay tells him "it was just a joke." Tensai doesn't find it funny, however...



As Tensai fights Titus O'Neil, O'Neil's partner Darren Young gets involved and beats Tensai down as well. Brodus Clay runs to the rescue.

With encouragement from Brodus Clay and the Funkadactyls, Tensai beats Titus O'Neil. Tensai then joins in the dancing fun after the match.
